1.4 Aroma: Grape cough syrup, very light hay. Appearance: Still light yellow with a thin white head that went away entirely. Flavor: Grape drank, slight hay underbelly. Palate: Medium body, thick texture, flat carbonation, lingering finish. Overall: Not as bad as I made it sound, but wouldn’t go for it again.
3.6 Sweet corn with light malt. Clear golden pour with creamy white head and lace. Sweet corn with a touch of maltiness. Sweet start a dry middle to a semi sweet lingering finish. A touch of floral notes at the end. No oxidation. Light bodied with pretty good carbonation. Light refreshing beer with no off tastes smooth. My bottle was fresh as a daisy no oxidation no off flavors
2.5 Little bottle at the brooklyneer. Easy drinking fun beer to chase with a shot. Eh nothing great
2.4 Pours a light golden color with a fair head. Aroma seems a bit musty with some malt sweetness and quite grainy. Taste of malt sweetness and plenty of grain. Easy bitterness and fairly dry finish. Light body, light crispness and a bit creamy. Not as bad as people make it to be, but it is what it is. Might be the last of the beers served in a "Pony Bottle".
2.0 7 Oz bottle, gold with white head. Aroma is sweet and corny. Taste is lightly sweet and corny, faint fruity flavor, pretty clean finish. not horrible.
1.8 7 oz green bottle from Anderson’s, Dublin, OH. Thanks, Dad. Biscuit, corn, slight skunk. Minimal white head, heavy carbonation. Malty, corn, bland, sweet. Skunk is barely there and unfortunately more skunk would be a significant improvement because it would be something more than flavorless. Can’t think of more than a handful of beers that are worse than this.
2.3 Sampled at esbls. Light golden and thin. No head. Aroma of forn and light malts with skunk. Flavor is thin with little going for it. A little effervescence. Not a lot happening.
2.5 7/03/2010: Little Kings Cream Ale... Aroma: Sweet biscuits, cream, and corn with just a tinge of skunk lurking in the background. Appearance: Straw color; crystal clear and clear; sparkling carbonation; minimal white head. Flavor: Lightly fruity pale maltiness with some corn dryness; vanilla/cream; a very faint grassy hoppiness and bitterness keeps this beer balanced. Palate: Pretty light-bodied with a smooth, creamy texture. Overall: This beer is nothing great, but isn’t that bad either... Sometimes this is just the right amount of beer; I think this beer is better now than it was in previous years; a good benchmark beer (when fresh) for the Cream Ale style... 7 fl. oz. green twist-off cap bottle enjoyed at Terry’s Turf Club in Cincinnati, Ohio. Rating #314 for this beer.
2.4 Tiny 7oz green bottle. All I have heard my whole life is how these were the best back in the day. Lets find out.. Translucent gold color with a thin white head. Aroma of corn, a bag of shwag, and sweet malts. Very watery. Taste more water than anything else. Corn, caramel, with a bit of skunk. So old people don’t know what good beer is.. Does have a nice creamy texture that kind of wraps around the tongue. Sweet dry finish.
0.8 Going from memory since the last time I drank this beer was 1984, yeah... that was before I was actually old enough to drink beer legally. But anyhow here it goes. It’s amber, bubbly, and smelled like the floor of a bar. I bit like old beer and vomit. Tasted like it too, old beer and vomit that is.
1.9 Pours a clear golden with a foamy white head that dissipates quickly and had a lot of carbonation. Aromas of grains and light skunk. Taste is sweet, grainy aftertaste. Light skunk, but not as bad as others I’ve had (cough... Stella). Slightly creamy mouthfeel, easy going down. I don’t think it’s very good, but I didn’t grow up in the 70s.
2.6 Hazy Light Yellow, Medium Foamy Head, Some Lacing. Sweet and Creamy. Watery and carbonated. Decent Thirst Quencher.
1.9 Can 355ml. Clear medium yellow colour with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, sweet malt, corn notes ! Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, corn. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20130111]
1.5 Draft at the flying piglet. Corny and skunky. Refreshing though, as it goes down like water.
2.1 7 ounce bottle from Total Wine Huntersville, NC. Cute little bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a thin frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Skunky aroma with notes of grain and corn. The taste is skunk, apples, corn. Thin bodied. Would be drinkable if it weren’t skunked from the green bottle.
2.7 The color of this beer is a clear golden color with a slight white head, but the aroma smells like bread yest, skunk, and sugar cane. The taste is slightly sweet and slightly sour, which is neither too overpowering nor too unpleasant, but there still isn’t much substance to the taste; furthermore, the palate combines a medium-thin body, slick texture, soft carbonation, and an abrupt finish.
3.1 I can say straight away that this is a beer that I think anybody could drink and not spit out in disgust. It doesn’t even taste like a beer, in my opinion, and that’s the reason why. Early on, I got a lot of a vanilla/vodka flavor. After a few sips, I pretty much tasted nothing ... and there was no bitterness. I rate it as highly as I do because it’s super sessionable, drinkable, inoffensive, and just really good for any occasion. Not just that, but the bottle’s attractive ... especially, I’d think, for the female drinkers. The bottle’s a measly 7oz.
1.7 Golden yellow with sparkling head. Looks like American light lager. Tastes much like American light lager but with a sweet grain and hints of banana, probably from more fruity ale yeast, that give it a little more.
2.1 Bottled, thanks fonefan! Clear golden, mid sized head. Fruity nose with a bit of rubber Sweetish with clean mouthfeel. Some ripe fruits, ash and red apples and cream. Low bitterness.
4.2 I’m a bit partial toward cream ales and this is an old favorite of mine. Another old favorite that I haven’t had in ages is Red Cap Cream Ale.

2.3 Bottle @ fonefan berliner weisse, cream ale multistate tasting. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, water, rice and hops.
2.2 Bottle. Sour lactic malt aroma. Clear gold with a large white head. Sweet lactic malt and fusel flavor. Medium body and carbonation.
2.6 7 oz botttle: Pours crystal clear, bubbly gold with a short white head. Scent is grain malt, corn. Taste is creamy, sweet.....corn notes again. Better than I remembered...drank the last one , ohhh...about 27 years ago...
1.8 Little bottle. Pours a clear golden color with effectively no head. Nose is a little skunky, like a cheap crappy lager. Taste is smooth and it does feel creamy, but not a lot to like about the beer.
2.6 7oz green bottle from the state store Appearance: Clear golden with a small white head, no lacing Aroma and flavors of malts, grainy and corn, mild citrus Ok, but glad this is only a 7oz bottle
2.5 From the 7oz bottle. Light gold pour with frothy white head. Grain and corn aroma. Medium body malt with just a touch of hop bite. Thick after taste, sweet and cloying. Decent little cream ale.
