3.8 Cask - auld hoose , north Berwick . Nice stout . Tbh usual stout-like coffee, roast barley, cocoa flavours but worked together well. Easy drunk strength . Enjoyed a good few after a Guinness.. that was oct 2022^^^….. then enjoyed can from Aldi august 2023.
3.7 Can. Really black with a fat coat of tan head. Inviting mocha and brioche aroma with hints spices. Rich and smooth with plenty of body and low carbonation but sufficiently decisive bitterness that it never seems that sweet despite being very chocolatey. Engaging and satisfying for its ABV.

3.9 Third (cask) at Jolly Judge, with Craig. Flat, oily black pour. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, roasty malts. Taste does not deviate too much, and it is the texture and feel of this cask pour which really makes it stand out. Aptly named " Silkie" for a reason.
