3.6 Bottle from HoTM. It pours clear deep / dark brown with a dissipating khaki head. The aroma is rich malty action, brown bread, toothy malts, malt loaf, dried fruits, fruit cake, earth, wood and a touch of burnt caramel. The taste is initially firmly dry, then moves to bitter - sweet, toothy, chewy malt, wood, earthy, toasted malt, slightly charred, brown bread, bruised bananas, raisin, sultana, fruit, caramel, kick of booze and a nip of spice with a dry, slightly burnt fruit cake finish. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. Well rounded and drinks far too easy.
3.4 Bottle found in Amberg - dark brown color, beige head. sweetish, toffee, nutss, dark malts. medium carbonation. boozy, but still well drinkable. nice.
3.6 500ml bottle Sophie's Beer Store. Hazed deep mahogany, thin beige head. Gently sweet toffee malt aroma. Taste presents Chewy toffee, brown bread and nuts, medium bodied, fair carbonation. Not bad.
3.4 500ml bottle As part of a delivery from Sophie's Beer Store and drunk at home. Mahogany broen clear with a ring of beige head. Resinous malt, hazelnut, toffee aroma. Tastes sweet with just a little hoppy bitterness on the middle of the tongue at the finish. Notes of stone fruit in the aroma. Heavy carbonation, medium body. A decent but not a top doppelbock.
3.1 Rubinbrun vätska med kaffegräddefärgat skum. Sädig doft och lite mörk kaka. Kakigheten återkommer i smaken. Stor maltkropp men något beige matchning av beska.
4.7 0.5 bottle. Fortunately, of course, it is not brew in Hungary :) The label is 'crappy', but it is not essential. Deep chestnut color, filtered, nice shades, like brownish-white foam, which lasts moderately. Very good caramel vision with a full-bodied delicate aroma, prunes and other dried fruits also feel good, based on this it promises to be good. Its scent is similar to Paulaner Salvator anyway. Taste: fuller than expected, more complex, more complex, very serious. It is more of a sweet base with a perfect amount of carbonic acid for this style. I didn't drink cold because of the flavors. So sweet, dried orchard, so oily full-bodied that I looked, there is nothing else in it, but of course the German law of purity lives on ... It’s a huge positive disappointment. Extraordinary semi-brown / dark double legs. Highly recommended !!!! I wish Löwen knew about this here. Mély gesztenye szín, szűrt, szép árnyalatos, mint a barnásfehér hab is, ami közepesen tart. Nagyon jó karamellmalátás testes finom illat, aszalt szilva egyéb aszalt gyümölcs is érződik, ez alapján jónak ígérkezik. Illata amúgy hasonlít a Paulaner Salvatorra. Íz: a vártnál testesebb, komplexebb, összetettebb, nagyon komoly. Inkább édeskés alap, ehhez a stílushoz tökéletes szénsav mennyiséggel. Nem ittam hidegen az ízek miatt. Annyira édes, aszalt gyümölcsös, annyira olajosan testes, hogy megnéztem, nincs e benne mégis más, de természetesen a német tisztasági törvény él... Ez egy hatalmas pozitív csalódás. Rendkívüli félbarna/sötét duplabak. Kiemelten ajánlott!!!! Bárcsak a Löwent itt erről ismernék.
3.5 Nice bit has a kind of mass-produced vibe to it.
3.5 Fles 50cl thuis. Süffig, caramel, roasted malts, hazelnoot, licht boozy, zoet, licht klef, chocolade, pruim, raisin, wel wat vlak. (11-9-2020).
2.9 Dark brown with offwhite head. Aroma of currants, raisins, roasted nuts and biscuity malt. Good body. Nice sweet malt notes and some hoppy bitterness
3.7 Butelka. Ładny mahoniowy kolor z rubinowym refleksem. Piana raczej mała,beżowa, zanika szybko. W zapachu susz owocowy karmel, palony słód. W smaku słodko,dużo suszonych owoców,figi, daktyle, rodzynki. karmel i słód grają główną rolę w tle delikatne nuty czerwonych jagód. Wysycenie małe,lekka oleistosc i dobrze ukryty alkohol.
3.6 Robe brun sombre, cuivrée, semble presque limpide. Belle mousse brune peu durable (fin disque).
3.8 Bottle shared at home. Beautiful clear, deep amber, almost brown with a short lived beige head. Nose is strong malty, lightly musty, lager, lightly basmenty. Taste is low bitterness, low sweetness, some alcoholic warmth in the aftertaste. Walnuts, nuts, light caramel, biscuits. Yumm.
3.6 50cl Bottle @ Saveur-Biere, Fretin, France. Dark brown colour with a thin tan head. Aroma is toasted malt, sweet, dried fruits, slightly nutty. Taste is toasted malt, caramel, raisins, nuts, hints of chocolate. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.5 500ml bottle brewed in Germany at 7.6%. Perfect-sized lowish-duration head. Dark chestnut/ruddy toffee colour. Slight sweet nutty roasted aroma. Low+ carbonation. A smooth moderately sweet line of caramel malt is painted through the beer, with some stouty dry toasted notes bringing it to a close: next to no bitterness from them though, and no discernible hops bar an almost illusory grassiness. There's that distinctive Bock twist to the malt too, that sets the style apart. That said, however, this is typical Lowenbrau, and therefore ticks only what boxes are necessary for the style before downing tools. Quite the contrast to Ayinger's Celebrator, which delivers much more flavour at nearly 1% less ABV. This is by no means a bad beer though, and the semi-minimalist workmanlike nature is quite German and will surely appeal to some, and it's no turnoff to me. I can't start raving about it though - and frankly I'd want something a bit more interesting to celebrate the sort of glorious triumph depicted on the label! To get the most out of this one, definitely ignore the label's unusual admonition to 'serve cold' (a 7.6% dark beer?) and serve at cellar temperature. More of that rich dark maltiness will be yours - but the end result still won't be overly much. It's still a very basic Doppelbock experience. For that, however, it can't really be faulted. Even the relatively staid Guinness deliver more with their similarly styled 7.5% Foreign Extra Stout, though.
3.4 500ml bottle. Clear, chestnut colour with ruby glimmer and average, thick, firm, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, toasty, caramel malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, some dark caramel, a minimally nuttily touch. Taste is minimally dry and minimally sweet, toasty, caramel malty, hints o fmalt lozenge, dark caramel, a cautious nuttily touch. Well controlled sweetness, lacks some depth, though.
Textura acuosa y ligeramente oleosa. Carbonatación media baja.

2.8 "Löwenbräu Triumphator", Flasche vom Kaufhof München am Stachus. - Tiefdunkles Braunrot, klar. - In der Nase fettes dunkles Malz, gut röstmalzig, süßes Lakritz, etwas Unami, insgesamt recht derb. - Antrunk kernig dunkelmalzig mit malziger Bittere, Lakritz, Paranuß. Milde, vage Hopfenherbe.
