Our Belgian White Ale is modeled after the original Belgian Witbiers brewed in monasteries during the early 14th century. The soft notes of citrus and spice are topped with a light fluffy head that finishes clean and crisp. This all natural ale is our latest seasonal brew, perfect for lounging at lake-side or celebrating at trails end...

2.9Mediocre beligan white. The smeel remind sme a little of straw or hay with a hint of a floral bouguet. Appearance is poor due to a very slight head that quickly dissapates. slightly cloudy.
3.0Light and unfiltered, mild aroma with a taste of lime and grapefruit. Slight aftertaste bit good overall. It's an upgrade to blue moon Belgium white.
2.9Bottle. Pours extremely hazy yellow with a big pillow white head that leaves lacing behind. Aroma has some minor citrus and some undefined sweetness. Taste is light, crisp, and lacks much of a punch. Not bad, not great, but drinkable.
3.5Bottle into a goblet. Pour is light yellow gold, I’m fine lace head. Aroma is citrus and sunshine. tastes of citrus and malt, very crisp. finish is very clean, with citrus aftertaste. very good ale
3.2Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours cloudy golden with small white head. Thin small bubble lacing, medium body, light carbonation, and coriander aroma. Taste is citrus and some coriander.
3.4Lemon, orange, and some spice in the aroma. Sweet with some orange peel and a little metallic taste. Spice and a little bitterness in the finish. Pretty good, solid choice for a cookout or party.
3.6Bottle. Lemon, wheat malt, and coriander aroma. Hazy golden yellow with a large white head. Yeasty wheat, lemon, and coriander flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation.
3.7Bottle. Tart lemon juice, coriander, and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet lemon, coriander, and wheat malt flavor. Light body. Very nice.
3.9Pours a bright Yellow in color, with a big foamy White head. Nice foamy head lasts until about halfway down the glass, but has little to no lacing down inside of glass. Is SOMEWHAT cloudy/hazy in appearance, but nothing like Hoeegardens which is VERY cloudy/hazy. Also, I don’t see ANY spices floating around like a Witbier should have? Label says it’s "Unfiltered", but looks like it’s a filtered Belgian White beer? Has light carbonation that lasts until last sip. Aroma is of Citrus, Orange, and Lemon. Taste is is of Citrus, Orange, and Lemon. It also tastes a little sweet, but with a little spice as well. It is very refreshing on a hot Summers day! And like the label on the bottle states, it is "clean and crisp". Not a bad little beer from this small, independent beer company in Vermont. But with some spices floating around in the glass, and more cloudiness/haziness, I would probably have given them a higher rating!
2.6Cloudy, pale yellow in color with a rather long lingering head. Slight citrusy aroma with a light citrusy taste and a thin finish. Definitely a summer offering but there are better beers to have.
3.4Lemon and orange nose, coriander isn’t distinguishable. Dingy golden no head. Crisp orange and coriander. Malty on the back end. Good and great value.
3.2Appearance is a very cloudy like intensely cloudy cream orange
Smell is big dry Belgian yeast almost like a champagne as some wheat.
Taste is cloves and oranges. Cucumber as well. Nice witbier on the finish
Mouthfeel is 80% carbonation very interesting like pulpy fresh squeezed orange juice feel. Heavy body. Citrusy malt finish
2.0a very light aroma with a slight hay aroma. very light flavor with an off flavored finish. almost metaly
2.9Similar to Hoegaarden but not as good. Slightly more cidery taste but less spicy and creamy. Pretty decent overall.
2.8Bottle from gift basket won at Pescatore’s Bootleggers Ball. My problem with this beer is that it is very similar to Allagash or Hoegaarden but not quite as good. Tastes and looks as expected - Cloudy yellow/gold with a white fizzy head. Aroma of orange/coriander and sweet malt. Taste is refreshing and citrusy - highly carbonated (maybe a tad more than Hoegaarden or Allagash) and finishes a little dry with a citrusy bite balanced with creamy malt. Not bad, just wouldn’t choose it over the other two.
3.1Orange-y gold in color, with a small head. This has a strong citrus/orange flavor, but not as much spice as I like in a witbier. Still, not too bad.
3.0Pours a cloudy yellow/orange with about a finger of slowly dissipating head. Lemon zest in the nose. Has a light citrusy taste with a bit of a watery mouthfeel. Pretty good, but not amazing. Refreshing though.
3.112oz bottle. Aroma of wheat, some pale and caramel malts, and light hops. Flavor the same, with a little spiciness. Average texture. A decent beer.
3.3Bottle. Cloudynyellow color, medium whitebhead. Aroma of citrus and light spice. Taste is similar. Plain.
2.6Bottle from Beer Run. Pours a hazy orange color with a fizzy head that immediately subsides. Citrus aroma with a bit of a buttery note and a spicy finish. The taste is big citrus notes, spice, perfume and a wheat finish. Medium bodied. Meh.
3.2on tap at a local tavern, poured into a cheater pint served with a lemon.
a: cloudy straw yellow, creamy slight off white head with fair retnetion
s: lemon zest, orange
t: slightly tart citrus mixed with a slight pepper note.
m: light and crisp
3.412oz bottle. Trying to figure out why this one doesn’t get much love. Pours out a nice cloudy off yellow hue, good head. Pretty traditional citrus, yeasty nose, nothing to write home about but decent enough. Palate is nice, the citrus rips the edges and finishes clean. Is this the best domestic wit? No, but will I take it over Blue Moon? Anyday, and I think it works as a seaonal.
2.6Long Island, NY - Pours hazy pale gold into a shaker. Bright white head quickly recedes to skim surface. Mild lemon and wheat aromas. Crisp lemon joy from front to back with mild wheat added in the finish.
3.0Hazy bright yellow, large fluffy head, quickly dissipates, no lacing. Aroma is lemon, wheat, fresh mown grass. High carbonation, light bodied. Some yeast flavors, spice, plenty of lemon. Finishes quick and clean, moderately tart. Refreshing, east drinking. I would score it very low for style, more of an American Wheat Ale, doesn’t resemble a Belgian style wit.
3.3Bottle from Half Time. Pours hazy light gold with a fizzy white head. Aromas of yeast/spice and citrus zest. Near med body - til the carb leaves. It’s very citrusy, and there’s spice. Maybe cardamom. Good for the style.
3.0A thick white foam head tops a cloudy white/yellow beer. Refreshing lemon aroma. Clean, lemon beer taste. Spritzy texture. Tart, dry finish.
2.5Serving: 12 oz. bottle from the Giant in Leesburg. It pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. The nose has slight citrus notes but is otherwise non-existent. The flavor is slightly sour with a light bit of citrus and perhaps a touch of yeast. The sourness clearly shouldn’t be there. Light in body with average carbonation leading to clean finish. Definitely not the best Wit I’ve ever had. Pass on this brew.
2.7From notes: poured a hazy straw color with a small white head. Lemony citrus aroma with a mild spice note mixed in. Palate was light and mild. Lemony flavor mixed with yeast. OK, but nothing noteworthy.
3.0Bottle. Pours very cloudy, fizzy, and with a small white head. Aromas of lemon rind and coriander, yeast, grass, and tea leaves; it’s a bit like an Arizona Arnold Palmer. Flavor is coriander and lemon peel, pretty one dimensional. Thin and highly carbonated. Eh. [771]
3.3Drank on tap (16 oz) at a restaurant in Woodstock, VT., on July 27, 2011. Yellow misty white, thin head. Light aroma of malted wheat, a hint of lemon. Wheat slightly malty flavor, notes of Cotroni sparkling, dry aftertaste. Pretty pleasant for the summer!
