Editor’s note: The 2009+ versions are spiked with Brett at bottling. Bottles from 2009 are marked as such, although 2010 and 2011 bottles appear to not note the vintage on the label, but might be printed on the neck or base.

3.80.75 l bottle from Angry Moose, shared with lovely Anja. Murky golden, medium to a large frothy white head. Lots of Brett character, yeasty, funky, herbal and barnyard. Esters develop soon, mostly apricot and some orange or other citrus. Flavours are dominated by Brett, funky, acidic, fruity, phenolic, slightly plastic. Very tart! Medium body, rich but overwhelming, moderate to high carbonation, moderate finish.
3.8Bottle from kihosk, Copenhagen. Pours a golden colour beer with a medium head. Fruity and yeasty with notes spices and brett. Dry finish.
3.82018 vintage. Pours unclear blonde. Smell is bit fruity, very funky and dry. Brett, in a very nice and balanced way. Taste is full, sharp. Very fruity Brett. Rather sweet. Not as dry as expected. Nice.
3.9(Draft) - Lacy white head. Cloudy light golden body. Heavy phenolic aroma. Flavor of bandaids (s good thing in this beer!!). Definitely not your daddy’s saison!!
4.2Freezing Midtown bottle share. Light pale yellow pour, bit cloudy and pours with a pretty huge head. White and massive, coming down super slowly. Beautiful funky brett apple juice nose. Farmhouse barnyard at its best. Taste is funky as well, good fruity brett thing there, apple juice funk with brett bitterness. Some saison spices still shining through. Nom-nom.
3.8Sample at Örebro Öl & Whisky 2018. Fruity smell, light tart with citrus. Similar taste. Nice.
3.8Bottled 750ml. -at Pivoteka Zagreb. Slightly cloudy golden coloured, medium to big sized white head, mild fruity Bretty nose. Moderate malty, spicy, Bretty, light tangerine and discreet hoppy with dry spicy yeasty finish. Pretty simple but well done.
3.0From backlog. Bottle from Total Wine at Hilton Grand Vacations at The strip, Las Vegas. Dark Golden with little head. Malts, hops, herbs and spices.
3.6Bottle. Not as wild as I was hoping, rather well rounded belgian saison, very classic.
4.2Bottle from Jane’s Beer Store in Mountain View, CA. Aroma is funky Brett, mild rubber, stone fruit, yeasty eaters. Taste is tangy, fruity, crisp and then a spiced dryness. Really classic and solid.
3.9Lots of tasty Brett. Mostly clear, dark golden color. Aroma is all Brett. Modest head.
3.9Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A clear dark golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of some grapes, reddish fruits, berries. Taste of red fruits and berries, grapes, belgian yeast quite nice!
3.3Many thanks to kappldav123 for sharing this stuff. Red golden in the glass, small head. Berryfruit smell. Taste is malty fruity, low sourness. Smooth. Increasing dry in the second part with malty elements. Enjoyable stuff.
3.5Many thanks to kappldav123 for sharing this bottle! Smooth mild fruity nose. The beer starts fruity mild. Smooth floral with funky hints. Easy to drink with a light body, smooth, dry, not too intense. Funky-dusty in the aftertaste, round and refreshing though.
3.7Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Fruity malty aroma. Starts mild, malty, modest fruity with hints of peaches, some apricot. Mild sweetish. Finish dry malty. Not bad.
4.0I first taste I found a light root beer flavor, sweet but not overpowering. Found it at the bore.

3.6750ml corked bottle, 2018 vintage. Brett funk aroma with notes of stone fruit, spicy saison yeast and some grapefruit hop citrus. Pours clear golden colored with a large off white head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with stone fruit and Brett funk flavors as well as having a lively mouthfeel. Finishes smooth and dry with spicy saison yeast and grapefruit hop citrus and acidity that lingers on the palate. Interesting saison and quite nice.
3.6750 ml corked and caged bottle from Tavour poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a hazy gold with a big head of white foam. The aroma has notes of dried tropical fruits with a bit of an herbal, grassy character. The taste is more on the herbal side, though. The finish starts to become sweet. Medium body and moderate carbonation.
3.7Not much a fan of the style but this is the best I’ve tried. Lots of lemon grass, suttle sweetness, and lots of carbonation
3.9On tap at Lost Abbey's Confessional in Cardiff by the Sea. Pale yella just a bit hazy. Faintest funky stinky brett. Bretty fruity and just the slightest sour. Classic fruity gummy brett taste lingers on the palate. Really well done, tastes great. I like brett, I love saisons, but somehow most brett saisons end up with the same flavor. I think the best brett mix Ive had was Straffe Hendrik's wild tripel. Still super balanced and high quality.
3.6ABC Roxy Benefit: Poured hazy yellow to golden with a white head. Aroma was funky with citrus fruits. Taste was more citrus fruits, light hop bitterness, spicy tingle, carbonation.
3.4Huge, foamy, fluffy, sticky head, despite a slow pour. Getting some orange, clove, grass, and a tiny bit of funk, especially on the nose. Particularly acidic finish. Not very sweet overall.
3.39th September 2017
Beaverfest Day 2. Keg. Light haze on this gold beer, small cream colour head. Palate is airy, dry and has decent fine carbonation. Dry sweetish malts, a little cream. Modest herbal fruits, a little spicy floralness. Dry finish. Pleasant enough.
4.009-09-17 // taster, draft. At Beavertown Extravaganza 2017, London. Hazy golden. Aroma of banana, peach, grains, hay, slightly tart.
3.6Bottle with friends. Hazy medium yellow. Sour apricots, apples and herbs. Dusty with apricots, herbs and cereal malt
3.6definitely not a "lacroix" saison (i.e. watery), super heady, apples, mildly bitter finish, a lot of pungent hay. butter and herbs. i like it
3.8September 2017 - Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza. As 'Lost Abbey Carnevale'. Hazy golden yellow, still, foamy off-white head leaves dotted lacing. Aroma is crackers, bretty, minty. Body is light and frothy with tingly carbonation. Taste is cracker-like malts, dusty and bretty with a drying crisp finish. A good saison. (7-4-8-4-15=3.8)
