3.6Bottle at S&G tasting. Bottled 24/05/2012.
APPEARANCE: clouded blond beer, small unstable white head.
NOSE: brett, little sour, little hoppy.
TASTE: brett, somewhat lactic, weird taste, decent though.
3.5"A little more standard fruity yeasty belgian and a little less wild/sour than i was hoping for. if i remove the price from the equation, it’s a really nice beer, for for a refreshing lightly dry and tart belgian ale, a buck an ounce is a but much."

Nice slightly fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is kind of strange fruity, yeast, flowers, honey cake, hay, grain, rubber, weeds, caramel, almonds. Taste is slightly sweet fruity, hay, grain, flowers, honey cake, weeds, almond essence, yeast, caramel. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and watery mouthfeel. So disappointing! Nothing sour or bretty about this one...
3.9Poured from a 12 oz. corked bottle into a harpoon tulip glass.
The color is a hazy orange with a finger and a half of foamy white head that is quickly gone before the first sip.
The smell is funky but not too sour. There is some banana aroma mixed with a touch of Belgian candy sugars. The grainy aroma that is detectable in the nose and reminds me of a triple but not as sweet.
The taste is sweet but not sour, and wild sourness seems to have been missed in this bottle. What I’m left here is a tasty Belgian-like beer without the carbonation and not much in the way of brett flavor. The is some fig flavor and some slight bubblegum flavor mixed in with a grainy flavor that is nice but is not as exciting as expected.
The feel of this beer is smooth with a nice drinkable feel. It goes down easy and has a medium to light body.
3.4Sredniawo. Powiem tyle ze mnie zawiodlo piwo, nie sadzilem ze az tyle bo zmierzyc sie z legendarnymi dzikimi piwami z Belgii to nie lada wyczyn. To piwo w niczym tych ze nie przypominalo. Brak calkowity piany kolor ciemno zloty, poczatkowo klarowny potem metny. Ale zapach nikly tylko swieze morele wyczulem. W smaku slodowe cos jak amber Ale skrzyzowane z wiedenskim lagerem. Prawie zero kwasowosci. Slodkawe nawet czasami mi sie wydawalo, Do niczego po prostu. Ta wspolpraca z New Glarus nie wyszla najlepiej. Niewielki plus za buteleczke i etykiete.
3.5Bottle at Craig’s. Pours hazy amber, thin white head. Brett on the nose, but barnyard and straw. Taste has fruitiness, not as sour as expected. Confusing.
3.4Pale golden, visible carb and a dulled ringed head. Corn cob without the cord - sweated veg and light funk. Pointlessly bretted - I’ve no idea what’s really doing the damage here. Earthy and barn vibe, straw grass and soft peachy fruit. Wistful carbonation. Bready dry soft chew finish.

3.0bottle at home ... golden amber ... thin white lacing ... soft vegetative fruits .. .. soft fruit hop ... light fruits .. soft fruit ... soft hop .. light fruits ... zezty gloral fruits ... light sweet fruits
3.6Bottle at Craig’s. Pours golden, funky toffee nose, taste is dry, sweet, sugary, brett funk, juicy, quite nice.
3.7Golden and clear. A fruity aroma with notes of pears, pineapples, straw and some (very little) funk. Pretty sweet, but the lovely fruity hints and funky twist makes it quite drinkable
3.1Flaska@M.Bargo.
3.5Apricot colored. Mid-sized offwhite top. Honey sweet aroma with an acidic twang. Hay-ish hop aroma with notes of dust and cob-web. Healthy body. Soft sparkling mouthfeel. Taste is caramel sweet and light funky. Acidic fruits, belgo-yeast and some mild spices. Fresh fruity endnotes. Complex, exciting, and easy drinkable.

3.3Pours clearer golden with an orange hue and white head. Aroma brings big oatmeal flavors dominating and a tad of funky Brett. Flavor brings similar light undeveloped Brett and light sweet yeast. At 2 years I thought this may have developed, but the Brett either died or never developed.
2.9Disappointed in this brett beer where the brett never showed up. Hazy orange golden pour with fluffy head. The aroma was heavy wheat, grass, hay, barnyard funk, and mint. The taste is sort of dry without much sourness at all. Hard to believe it was a wild ale. Some lemon and fruit in a standard golden ale backbone. Mouthfeel was a bit flat. Missed the mark.
2.94/11/14. 375mL bottle thanks to Carl! Lightly hazed orange pour with a small bubbly khaki head. Sweet aroma, wet hay, mildly funky, orange peel, and mint oddly enough. Sweet flavor, oh so sweet, thick maltiness, plenty of orange peel, not too funky, lingering mint. Disappointed for sure.
4.0375 mL bottle from Ale Yeah, Roswell. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin frothy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of earthy brett funk, mild barnyard, citrus, stone fruit, faint olive/vegetal notes. The taste is citrus, stone fruit, brett, caramel, bread, funk. Medium bodied, low carbonation, good balance. Nice beer.
3.8Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht säuerlich, Brett, Gewürze. Geschmack säuerlich fruchtig, malzig süß, Karamell, blumig.
3.4Bottle thanks to Wchesser..Pour is a golden with a nice white head..Nose is bready, brett, musty, honey, biscuit..Taste is orange, brett, biscuit, spice, some honey,
3.3In honor of his Atlanta incursion, had HeffIam select something off the Brick Store Cellar List. Poured hazy light yellow with dissipating white head. Scent is light spice and brett. Flavor was a bit bland. Body and carbonation were correct, but couldn’t save this fairly average brew. Bottle - Brick Store Pub - Decatur, GA
3.5Corked bottle. Golden color. Shy citrusaroma with salt and leathery notes. Weird flavor. Citrus, onions, rubber, pineapple. Still some rest sweetness. An odd mix of complexity and by-flavors.
3.4Hazy orange body with a white head. Good lacing. Caramel, sweet fruit aroma. Some orange. Sweet with very light sourness. Oily texture, average carbonation.
2.9Bottle shared at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Pours orange with no head, aroma of fruits, honey, caramel, flavor of honey, caramel, brett, fruits, medium bodied
3.6Bottle@home. Poured murky orange with a tan, lacing, creamy head. Fruity aroma of pineapple, tangerine, honey, cinnamon and a little bit of ginger. Medium bodied, well rounded, high carbonation. Generally sweet taste with a lacking aftertaste, with perhaps a hint of caramel. Not bad, but not that exciting as I was hoping.
3.0Bottle from DBS. Brett? Wild? How's about total bullshit. It's pretty much Brux...aka a huge letdown. Belgian ale with a slight sweetness and not much Brett. $8 a bottle? Who cares... Ok beer.
3.412oz bottle. It poured a hazy orange with an off white head. Aroma was candy sugar, cookies, grass, and light apices. Flavor was sweet and spiced, and some grassyness. Not much Brett taste here and quite too sweet.
3.4Pours a very thin watery golden again with thin foam. Not very sour infact more on the Belgian tasting side. Not a great beer especially for the price.
