Lightly spiced with Organic Ginger, Orange Peels, Black Pepper and Grains of Paradise, this brew promises to quench your thirst on the hottest Southern California days or wherever your travels may take you. 3.8 Bottle in Seattle. Thick, growing foam head which leads to fairly bright carbonation. Nice looking saison appearance, light hazed orange. Lightly peppery yeast nose, grains of paradise too. Nice bit of ginger bite to the sip, which adds to the peppery yeast snap. Dries out considerably with a good earthy, spiced bitterness. You feel all of the ingredients coming through in a nice balance. Delivers as promised. Nice beer.
3.5 Keg at brewdog Edinburgh. Pours hazy yellow, nose is spiced, banana, floral, taste is similar.
4.3 Bottle, 9.4 FL OZ. Pours slightly hazy yellow/gold with a thick, soapy, slightly off-white head. Lots of small bubbles visible, and some patchy lacing. Aroma is softly sweet, fruity, and slightly musty, with ginger, lemon zest, clove, cinnamon. Gentle honeyed malt notes develop as it warms. Undercurrent of spicey, slightly musty yeast. Taste is lightly sweet and fruity up front, with more citrus and candied orange, followed up by clove, coriander, ginger confectionery, slightly herbal/vegetal touches, spicy, cheesy yeast, black pepper and moderate herbal bitterness in the finish. Light aftertaste of sourdough and ginger. Body is medium, texture is smooth and silky, carbonation is pleasantly lively. Super easy drinking. One of the nicest, most well-rounded saisons I've had. The ginger is an excellent subtle touch.
3.3 very drinkable offering. fruity but not cloying, it's highly drinkable and tasty.
3.8 Hazy golden with a white head - Spicy aroma from yeast - Malt body to support a spicy fruity flavour with hints of yeasts - The spicy fruity flavour goes into the finish - This was good
3.9 Al club de tast de l’Olut. Gran inici per acomiadar la primera temporada del club. Saison molt fàcil de prendre

3.4 Shared bottle at Olut Sabadell. Hazy yellow with white head. Season yeast and wheat aromas, a bit alcoholic as it warms. Bitter end. Very subtle spicy pepper.
3.6 Yelow-orange colour with white head. Yeast, caramel and spicy aroma. Sweet in the beginning and slightly bitter in the end. Fresh and citric. Tasted in Olut club the cata
3.6 Shared bottle @OlutSBD club de cata. Pours light yellow with white head. Aroma of fruits and grain. Sweet start with botterish ending.

3.3 750mL bottle. Pours a clear slightly amber-ish gold with a small off-white head. Aroma is ginger, some caramel, a light fruitiness, some wine, soap, and a hint of funk. Taste is coriander, spice, grass, pepper, light apricot, a hint of orange, and a good helping of wine. Alcohol in finish. Some bitterness. Light-medium body. Initially high carbonation settles down into something more moderate as the beer warms. Oily mouthfeel.
3.5 Flaska systembolagets beställningssortiment. Orange kulör. Kryddig doft med övermogna äpplen och aprikos. Liknande i smak. Möjligtvis lite ingefära. Om man vill. Aningen bitter
3.5 Bottle shared with friends. Clear amber with a medium white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Subtle bitter and sweet tones. OK brew.
3.8 Bottle at Cott Botts; clear golden amber pour with a big frothy off white head, aroma has slight ginger and ozone, taste has a hint of spice, subtle citrus, hint of ginger.
3.6 cloudy gold foamy beige head ARoma sweet grain and yeast notes for flavor grainy sweet sugary with notes of cotton candy Feels medium and foamy littl fizz finishes dry grainy moderately bitter
2.8 Hugely overrated beer. Very generic saison without any additional character, mellow and additionally not too refreshing.
3.6 0,75l bottle from Beergium. Clear, orange golden beer with huge cloudy white head. Aroma has grain, light malts, sweet fruits and light sour and spicy feeling. Taste has sweet light malts, fruits, grass, sourness and spicies. Dry and bitter aftertaste with pepper. Fresh, beautiful and interesting beer, which turns onto too bitter and sour end.
3.5 750ml bottle Aroma: faint notes of carameled malt, a little red wine and hint of barnyard funk Appearance: a light copper color and a solid white head with great retention Taste: a slight fruity sweetness on the front with notes of orange and apricot. Mid palate stays strong with awesome carbonation carrying the fruit notes throughout and rounds out the fruit flavor with a cloying sweetness and an almost overwhelming bitterness from the barnyard funk. Smells great, looks great, starts great and really falls off on the end. A slightly disappointing first Lost Abbey for me
3.9 A yeasty after taste compliments the earthy texture of this slightly hoppy backwoods brew. Fruity pine needle flavor is immediately noticeable after chewing through the first half of the bottle. Overall, fantastic.
3.9 750ml bottle from Systembolaget. Slightly hazy golden giant white head that takes its fair time, rich lacing. Fruity aroma, mild funk, peppery yeast, oranges, peaches, cardamom, soap, wheat and grass. Creamy and smooth mouthfeel, medium carbonation., medium bodied. The taste follows the aroma, peppery and soapy yeast, ripe orange and peach, white pepper, mild ginger, bitter orange, gentle notes of barnyard in the background. Pleasantly crisp and bitter finish.
3.5 Golden, high carbonation high head. Aroma: peach, bananas, old hops. Medium body and sweetness. Fruity flavour, some spiciness at finish and high lojg bitterness. Aroma: peach, anise, grass, earthy, banana, apricot Taste: medium bitter, light sweet, peach, apricot, earthy, anise, grass
3.6 Golden, high carbonation high head. Aroma: peach, bananas, old hops. Medium body and sweetness. Fruity flavour, some spiciness at finish and high lojg bitterness.
3.6 Smells and tastes like light belgian quadrupel (not like saison), for my taste way too carbonated. Bitter in the aftertaste and a little bit spicy.
3.4 Bottle. Deep gold with a large white head that lasts OK. Aroma of crackery dough, oranges, cloves. Medium bodied, high carbonation. Quite yeasty and quite bitter with a rush to the fairly spicy and dry finish. Some chives there too unfortunately. And - weirdly - a hint of booze. As it warms to about 12C mildly fruity (oranges, apricots) and doughy sweetness come through more and it seems more agreeable.

4.3 This is a good saison that incorporates ginger well. The spices you expect to get are there, but they’re not overpowering and they don’t fight with each other to take center stage, so to speak. Red Barn Ale works; it’s light but still requires you to drink slowly and it’s got a nice finish.
