2.8 Tap @TCBW2015. Pitch black color. Medium size, brown head, stays. Sour, faint roast, grape must, dry yeast in aroma. Sour, rough roast, bit of plastic in taste. Rough roast turns to dull very quickly and then disappears completely. Plus is that alcohol is undetectable, but otherwise hmmm dull?
3.1 Tap at Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend 2015. Looks like a Stout, feels like a Stout, but doesn’t taste or smell like a Stout. Extremely woody and sour on the nose, with roasted and chocolate notes in its taste. Not much if any alcohol detectable. Not sure why it’s an Imperial. A strange brew but not bad. I guess it’s true to the brewer’s style. Would not mind trying it again.
3.0 Black beer, tan head. Nose is chocolate, roast, vanilla notes, mild wood. Flavor is roasty, sour notes, malt, weird fruit notes. Nose is nice, but the flavor lets it down.
2.9 Tap@TCBW2015. Black colored, brown head. Slightly sour, berries, chocolate. Flavor has tartness, cherries, chocolate. I asked the lady behind the tap, yes this was the normal version.

3.7 Bottle. Black, no head, viscous. Nose is leather, coffee and dark berries on the nose, some oak. Big coffee and blackberry hit in the taste, light oak, slight sourness - almost citric - more dark fruit, figs, plums, light bacon and smoke. More leather. Coffee lingers, as does the light smoke and some dark choc towards the end. Medium body, pretty decently drinkable. Good flavour profile, with an interesting bite and oakiness.

3.8 Bottled. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, wood and soy. Sweet flavor that ends dry and quite bitter with alcohol too. Medium to full bodied, oily texture and soft carb. An excellent Impy.
3.3 Very interesting combination of the roast and sour. Liked it but prefer a more modern day all out roast. Appeared pitch black with tan head. Aroma was a mix of sour, roast and slight chocolate which continued throughout the glass. I like the thick body of a roast imperial stout this was a bit thin unfortunately. Great to try
