1.8 0,33 l Flasche.
2.2 Grabbed this at Wing Yip supermarket in Croydon. Pale gold with a small head that swiftly disappears. Faint aroma, something floral and lemony. Taste is malt, straw, biscuit, lemon, honey, predominantly sweet, but nothing lingering. I liked the bottle, shaped as Buddha, but otherwise a fairly ordinary lager.
2.4 Old rating - 330ml glass Buddha bottle, clearly stated - Hangzhou Qiandaohu Brewing Co. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of honey, herbs & malt. Moderate body. Sweet finish
2.6 Here apparently ascribed to an Australian brewery, but my sample, clearly states "Produced brewed by Cheerday Brewery, Hangzou, Zhejiang, China". 330 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with white head. The aroma is not intense, malt, with a delicate herbal note. The taste of malt with a very small hop accent, is manifested by honey sweetness with a fairly pure aftertaste.
2.0 Lys pilsner. God til tørst.
2.7 Flaska på Nam Do i Malmö. Ljust gul med vitt skum. Mjäkig munkänsla. Lite citrus och bröd i doft och smak.
2.2 Green Buddah-shaped bottle is the best part. Pours a clear golden with small disappearing white head. Aroma is skunky with grains and sweet malts. Taste ends up 9n the bitter side. Body is light with a crisp mouthfeel. A typical pale lager in a cool bottle.
1.7 Clear golden color and a small, quick dissapearing head. Simple. Lots of sweet malt and faint hops.
2.4 The brewers description is a bit...embellishd, but this isn;t hateful at all for what it is. I disagree with the style percentage being so low. Bottle is cool, and I'm not really getting any skunk from the green glass. Standard pale lager, crisp and clean, maybe my score is slightly exaggerated from having it with Vietnamese food .
0.9 330ml bottle from Balham Food & Wine. Deep golden. Aroma of sweet malt. Sweet and sugary. Not very nice. Not the worst beer ever.
2.5 Old
2.1 Bottle. 11.16 oz. I used to see this interesting bottle around a lot but haven’t seen one for a few years. I saw one recently and used it to fill out a mix six. Poured clear golden with a white head. Aroma was grassy, skunky, toasted grain. Taste was medium sweet, malt, light hops, grain/corny.
2.4 gulbrun farge med luftig hvitt skum. Lukter malt og noe sitrus. Lettdrikkelig "vanlig Lager. Rated desember 2018.
2.9 Veldig lett smak, ingen bitterhet. Veldig lys klar. Smaker alkoholfritt og gir egentlig lite og ingenting.
3.0 Light and pleasant. Not a bold taste but enjoyable
3.0 Bottle from Wing Yip in Croydon. Clear golden amber, medium white foam head. Nose is sweet, cereal, straw, dry grass, hay. Taste has some nice cereal, dry grass, straw, toasted grains but almost no hop bitter bite... sweet barley... very drinkable.
2.4 The bottle is fun Is light bodied and smooth to the taste. Just another average beer
2.3 Historical tick. Have resisted doing it but want to see how they impact my stats. Gift from mother, it was on sale somewhere. Weak stuff. At least the bottle's fun/an abhorrent example of cultural appropriation.
1.3 Bottled with Buddha moulding, 330ml from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn, Norfolk. Yellow gold with white head. Okay it was cheap for an imported beer, so I knew what to expect and in that case I wasn't disappointed. Boiled rice notes to the fore, thin and sweet with a slight note of lemon hand wash. All the interest in this is with the bottle shape as there is little to draw you to the beer. It won't darken my doorstep again.
0.6 Geruch: Beim Öffnen ein sehr markanter Geruch. Ist das der Reis? Helles Gelb, klar, kaum Schaum. Sehr wenig Geschmack. Könnte vielleicht in der Sauna schmecken.
2.0 Flasche 33cl. Breiter Pasteur und Grünglasgeschmack, leichter Körper. Unaufdringlich, passt zu chinesischem Essen. Cooles Flaschendesign.
2.2 Anti carnaval 2020 - Maiswatertje pur sang, zoetig, ach t gaat wel, heb ze slechter gehad.
2.5 Interesting Buddha shaped bottle. According to the label it's brewed by Cheerday Brewery in Zhejiang, China. Clear gold with white head. Aroma is soft, mild malts. Not much going on. Taste is slightly sweet with some tartness. Very easy to drink. Good carbonation.
3.1 11.16 ounce bottle in Kent Ohio. Smell the grain. Light yellow in color. Small white. Taste grainy and light bodied. Smooth. Grain aftertaste. Just average beer. Cheers!
1.5 Amazing bottle, dreadful beer. Watery flavour free lager, lacks hops, lacks bitterness, fizzy, wet, cold.
2.3 Industrial Asian lager developed for Chinese restaurants, coming from a unique Buddha-shaped green bottle; here apparently ascribed to an Australian brewery, but my sample, bought from a Chinese restaurant in Ghent, clearly states "brewed by Cheerday Brewery" in China. Medium thick, snow white, lightly lacing, opening head on a crystal clear, pure 'metallic' golden beer with no visible sparkling. Aroma at first severly skunked (mercaptans - the 'lightstruck effect', in other words), an effect that gradually makes room for hints of cold cooked rice, iron shavings, industrial white bread, breakfast cereals, minerals, damp straw bales, polyester, grain dust. Very neutral onset, some grainy sweetishness with a dull sourish undertone, very minerally due to fizzy carbonation (as in sparkling water), thinly stretching over the tongue in a bland, simple, cereally-sweetish way with light metallic edges; bit rubbery in the finish, with only the faintest touch of grassy hops, providing just a brief and superficial hint of bitterishness. Thin cereally sweetishness and prickling, minerally carbonation remain afterwards. Once the lightstruck effect has faded, there is hardly anything left worth noting here in terms of flavour: this is as inoffensive as industrial standard lager gets, with a very thin, almost watery profile and only the thinnest cereally sweetishness. By being as neutral as sparkling water (metaphorically speaking), I can easily drink this without being disturbed by too much of that maltose sweetishness or unpleasant iron and plastic effects plagueing most industrial pale lagers, but those elements are certainly there, just in a very thin, faint way. Within its particular category, there is not much wrong with it, this drinks as easily as sparkling water. The bottle is obviously more alluring than its content - which, of course, is exactly what I was expecting; nothing truly off-putting here, besides utter blandness.
2.3 Złotej barwy, klarowne. Piana biała, drobna, dosyć trwała. Aromat nie jest intensywny, słodowy, delikatna nuta ziołowa. W smaku lekkie słodowe, bez goryczki.
2.2 Clear gold pour with lots of visual carbonation in the form of tiny bubbles. Lasting thin white head. Aroma of pilsner malt with a little light struck hops (skunky) smell created from using green bottles instead of brown. Light body with a bland amount of hop bitterness. Dull finish. Does not pair well with spicy Chinese food.
2.3 0,3 litre Bottle from Tax Free store at Billund Airport. Golden with white head. Malts, yeast, sweetness.
