3.6Bottle no head or lacing Sweet Porter with a moderate roasty character sweet and light Not bad
3.6Bottle share from Jeremy. This one walked a fine line between porter and something a bit more potent. excellently captured the nature of the sweet/roasty style without overdoing, or undercutting, either.
3.9Bottle, pours a dark brown with a thin beige cap. Nose is roasty, lightly sweet. Faint espresso. Taste is roasty, light cocoa, light mocha. I can imagine the popcorn, but its not obvious. Great stuff though.
4.0750ml bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is roast malts bitter dark chocolate and some coffee notes. Taste is more of the dark roast malts chocolate coffee and a nice end.
3.5Pours a deep brown almost black color with a semi sweet chocolate aroma. Flavor is, coffee, chocolate with a slight silky butter popcorn finish. Aftertaste is smooth and enjoyable with little to no bitterness.
3.54oz on tap at Liberty’s for $4.50. In my notes I have this as "Mikkeller Popcorn Porter (Mad Sod)", I must have been a little buzzed. Really interesting flavor up front here. Some dark chocolate, coffee, nuttiness, and that confectionary sort of sweet-type desert popcorn. Hint of smoke. Moderate to bigger sweet taste, light bitterness. Bit of lingering sweet, bit of savory. Near-black color, slight red. Decent khaki head, good ridges of lace. Medium to bigger body. Good chewiness. Kind of slick, lighter carbonation. Nice kind of desert-like porter... Unique, complex, but a bit sweet for me.

3.6Botella de @Señor Lúpulo. Despacho de cervezas, Gijón BBD: 18/06/18. Color negro, espuma beige, aromas chocolate malta, sabor láctico, dulce regaliz. Cuerpo medio denso.
4.4Pours bright black with brown head. Aroma os coffee and caramel. Dark malts taste, coffee (especially in the end) and chocolate. Can’t feel the pop corns though. But still... excellent porter!
3.8On tap at The Owl Farm in Brooklyn. Pours black with a brown head and aroma of milk chocolate and roasted malt. Taste is of liquorice, sugar, chocolate, while creamy with a sweet, long finish.
3.3Bottle 750ml @ Geokkjer
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, brown sugar, chocolate, caramel, apple and molasses. Taste is heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long sweet, chocolate, brown sugar and caramel finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
3.7Bottle. A dense, light tan head forms lacings over a black body. The aroma is on the sweetish side, with lots of chocolate, coffee and salty licorice. Some diacetyl like notes that might as well be the popcorn supposedly added. The flavor is sweet indeed, but not bad, with roasted malts, dark chocolate and molasses. It’s full-bodied, almost sticky and with a soft and pleasant carbonation. Long sweet and dark malty finish. Obviously too much this one, but it’s nice and tasteful anyway. Made to shear. 150814
3.1Bottle. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of red apples, some malt, licorice and molasses. Flavor is sweet and malty with licorice, red apples and caramel. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.9Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av choklad, mörk torkad frukt, jäst med toner av vanilj, farinsocker, karamell och kaffe. Krämig, rund och len, lite brända toner från popcornen, stor sötma, fin beska.
4.3Bottle - pours pitch with a tan head, nice lacing. Aroma is dark chocolate with a nice bittersweet thing happening. Very nice!
3.7bottle from Bestway. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Leaves a lot of thick lacing in the glass. Huge molasses and toffee notes on the nose. Thicky and syrupy on the tongue. solid hop bitterness on the finish. Solid example of style.

4.0Bottle 75cl from my summer Santa Misow thanks ! A dark beer with brown head and good retention. Nose is nice and intense on dark chocolate, creamy like, hints of dark coffee and licorice, touch of vanilla. Aroma is on a sweet and creamy dark chocolate, very smooth, light peach notes, quetsche, caramel and vanilla hints, well malty, licorice, touch of lactose ? extremely drinkable, quite complex for the alcohol level. Excellent porter, well balanced, rich, creamy, on my point of view clearly underrated.
4.0Very dark brown color, big brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, fruits. Taste is similar. Dark fruits notes, sugar and candy. Sweet and thick. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation. Little bit weird but very tasty and complex. Very cool.

4.3Completely dark, almost black color, big brown head. Nice porter vanilla chocolate aroma. Taste is chocolate, maybe little bit too sweet, sweet chocolate and cocoa bean finish. Full body, flat carbonation. Very nice indeed, but where is the popcorn? //svijet piva
3.5Bottle: Poured a clear dark brown color ale with a nice light brown foamy head with good retention and light lacing notes. Aroma of chocolates notes with light roasted malt is pleasant enough. Taste is also dominated by black chocolates notes with light dry roasted malt notes. Light coffee notes can also be distinguished. Body is a bit light for style with good carbonation. Not bad but can’t say that I can taste the popcorn and the body is too thin.
4.2Bottle 0,7l from Svijet piva. Dark liquid with tan head. Full body, light carbonation. Nice aroma of coffee and cocoa. Creamy taste, coffee, aroma, cocoa. Well balanced. Very nice. A bit too sweet.

4.075cl bottle from systembolaget bs. Pours black with big brown head. Sweet, coffee aroma with caramell, cocoa and coffee taste. Nice and rich with nice balance.
3.9Pours deep black with a red hue when put under a light. A massive head is achieved on pouring and very much remains for a moderate period of time, it’s quite dense too. Aroma is burnt sugar, chocolate, slight red berries and preserved sweet cherries. Taste is muscovado sugar, molasses, caramel sweet, tablet, vanilla and a slightly salty-ish mid-taste. Full bodied with a soft mouthfeel.
4.4This is a devastatingly successful super porter. It features a powerful nose of fresh roasted coffee, some ashiness, and unsweetened coffee. A frothy tan head with a very deep brown body colour. The taste is popping fresh, with roasted coffee, popcorn, saltiness, butter, peanut butter, smoke and an unexpected hop bitterness. It has a super rich body for a 6.7% abv beer, way above the richness expected for a porter. An undercurrent of ripe dark fruit finishes off a powerhouse taste profile. Exceptional brewing.
