Our take on an India Pale Ale (IPA.) A deep golden amber ale with a rich up-front malty nose finishing with a big, hoppy bite. Dry-hopped to finish with a big fresh (Cascade) hop flavor.
Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting yeast.

2.6Pours a clear amber with a white head. Nose is faint caramel malt. Body is medium. Taste is very light IPA. Hops are there but lack the bite of fuller IPAs. This similar to their #9 Not Quite Pale Ale. This Not Quite IPA but a nice drink. 12 oz bottle in the Summer variety pack
2.7This beer did not scream IPA to me, more akin to a wheat beer imo. Nice amber with light head. Tastes of wheat, heavy malt, light citrus, slight bitterness. Not for me.
3.1Not a bad IPA. Also not a risk-taking IPA. Caramel malt, earthy hop, some citrus, pine. Basic but enjoyable.
3.6From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. The pour is amber yellow with a lingering and foamy white head. My nose picks up perfume in the aroma more than the roasted pale malts. The perfume is floral like. Medium body. This has a unique bitterly hopped taste to it that has a minor toasted character to start but the hops linger at the end.
3.0A fine ale. I'm not sure if it's an IPA or not, since the hop meter has moved over the years. Orange and citrus with some malt and bitterness at the finish. Ok, but not my favorite.
3.7Was one of my favorite ipas back in the day guess my palate changed over the last 5 years. Smell is very orangey with slight notice of pine near the end. Good body nice orangey citrus flavor with weak bit at the finish. Diffently wish it had the old lable on the bottle.
3.512 oz bottle. Pours amber with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of citrusy hops, tropical fruit and caramel malt. Body is medium and tangy. Citrusy hops, caramel malt and ripe fruit fill the mouth. Finish is long, dry. Overall, good brew.
3.9It has a hazy amber to coppery colored body with an off white head. The head is tall thick and foamy. It has good retention and keeps a nice small cap on the beer until the last drop. On the way down the glass it makes some cool lacing. The nose has a solid hop aroma featuring citrusy/herbal and musty notes over light pale maltiness and bready yeast. Its medium bodied with a light bready maltiness supporting some decent hop bitterness. In the bitterness there are notes of herbal tea hops, citrus and some musty hops as well. The texture is smooth and firm with a nice level of carbonation.
3.1Cloudy dark orange amber.
Sharp up front with lingering bitter finish.
Very dry.
Medium head and lacing...some spice.
Sharp/dry/bite.

3.1bottle. amber with small head. sweet and fruity base with medium hops. averageish.
2.4Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a bold brown colored body that leaves a one finger white head that lasts a good two minutes. No carbonation is rising.
The smell had a malty sweet citrus up front with just a bit of hops in the background.
The taste was pretty much the same, nothing different.
The palate sat about a medium, pretty creamy, nothing harsh on the tongue.
Overall, this is decent, but nothing spectacular, I’m not sure if I would have this again.
3.312 oz. glass on draft Buffalo Wild Wings, Burlington, VT. Yellow orange color, Spotty lace sticking to sides of glass. Aroma is mild citrus and weak earthy hops.
Flavor is expected. The initial taste is a bit citrus upfront and the backend is Floral Earthy hops. Bitterness is restrained and not overly bitter like most of the hop bombs on the market. Medium body with plenty of malt in the base of this beer.
Overall, No complaints and no problems. This has a very classic standard example of the style. Real drinkable and I like the simple approach after drinking so many hop bombs.
3.3[5307-20130429] Tap. Grainy aroma, not a lot there. Clear, pale orange body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Fruity grains flavour has a bitter base. Medium body. Good, drinkable. (6/3/7/3/14) 3.3

2.9hazy orange/caramel color, big head that is pure white and leaves excellent lacing. smells of caramel, nuts, pumpkin spice and malts. Smells very exciting. nice medium body, unfortunately aroma is much fuller than the flavor. Flavors of caramel, toffee, sweet and a little malty. Overall a very good beer but not fantastic. definitely worth the price. try it if you see it but don’t go out hunting for it.
2.7Someone recommended this to me; I’m a little frustrated with them now.
Very one note IPA with none of the fruity citrus in the hop flavor, just a sort of flat one note bitterness with an almost wheatbeer like lightness.
Not very tasty, but better than a lot of the crap Magic Hat shills out
2.512 oz Bottle. The beer pours to a dark golden/ amber color with a small white head. The aroma is too sweet with floral & pine notes to it. The taste is way too sweet for my taste with a pine & not much malt balance to it. Overall i was not a fan of this beer. I have had worst but this one is not good.
3.4Bottle. Hazy amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops, fruit and grassy notes.
3.2Not the best IPA out there but not the worst in my opinion. You got the nice smell of pine the beautiful golden look and most important that sweet hop taste.
3.4A slightly better than average IPA. Very well balanced. Lots of sweet caramel and a little bit of butter cancel out the piney hops.
3.0Bottle. This is a pretty basic IPA without much going for it. I would look for a left coast IPA.
3.4FROM NOTES: August 12, ’12.
From a 12 ounce bottle into a tulip.
A: Very malty with toasted notes, hints of citrus and very subtle hints of earthy hops
A: Pours a slightly hazy orange copper color with a thick, one inch cream head that dissipates slowly, leaving substantial lacing.
T: More bitter than the nose lets on with a citrus like hop finish. Malts and a nutty like taste in the finish.
P: Medium bodied with ok carbonation. Slight alcohol presence.
O: A decent and very sessionable IPA, great for a summer night outside with a group. The smell leaves something to be desired for an IPA though.
3.3Lots of fruity aroma overpowering the hops. Malt drowns out much of the bitter bite I expect in an IPA. Clean, citrus finish. Not bad on its own but not what I look for in an IPA
3.2Solide IPA, je la trouve un peu moins sucré que la plupart et il y a un petit goût boisé qui la différentie de la masse.
3.1Forgot to rate this one a few weeks ago. Fairly average IPA, mild sweet taste up front, and medium bitter finish in this medium bodied IPA.
3.4The Blind Faith pours a cloudy sharp orange with a frothy off-white head that lasts a good while and leaves decent lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet almost like a muffin with strong orange citrus hops. The flavor is loaded with bitter hops. I get some pine and some citrus hops. Overall this is a pretty decent beer but not one of my favorites.
3.1Bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber with small off-white head. Clear aroma of hops and malt with subtle grassy touches. Intense, hoppy flavour with acetic notes and a sublt malty touch. Bitter finish. Acceptable.
3.8Well...I have to admit this is one of the first beers that got me into craft beer and I was happy to see this on the shelves again. Heck I haven’t even rated it yet! Pours a lightly hazy copper orange with a medium off white bubbly head. Aroma of that classic magic hat yeast. You know a little buttery and a little woody but it works in this beer. Lots of tropical fruit notes and maybe my mind is doing trick on me and warping me back 10 years but I swear I get some apricot too. Flavor is very fruity. Moderate bitterness and also some of the same woody/buttery notes the aroma had.
2.9Not bad. Not very hoppy, more malty. Looks nice and pours light golden brown. Enjoyed it, but glad only got one.
2.9Bottle. Pour is a hazy orange with white head. Lots of malts, not a lot of hops. This didn’t strike me as an IPA, but it is once, I guess?
3.8Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours clear amber/copper with an off-white head. Aromas f fruit and roast malt. Med body or better. Flavor is caramel with a lot of earthy hop. Maybe some citrus and floral. The cascade citrus doesn’t seem prominent. It’s very balanced, quite tasty. Hop burn is slight. NW no. Good ale, yes.
