Magic Rock Cannonball

Magic Rock Cannonball

Cannonball is an India Pale Ale in the true tradition, high in alcohol and massively hopped to survive a long sea voyage. We don’ t want you to wait though, crack the cap and let the flavour explode on your palate. Tropically fruity, resinous hops compete against a sweet malty backbone, while a rasping bitterness builds to a mouth puckering crescendo. Our hop bomb might just blow you away…

3.2 Can from the brewery Norderstedt - hazy golden color, white head. Lemon, ripe tropical fruits. Harsh carbonation. Boozy. Medium sweet. Bitter finish. Somehow unbalanced, not really a superb ipa.
3.5 uklar brun farge med hvitt skum. Lukter av ananas og maltsødme. Bitter med smak av sitrus og ananas-sødme.
3.8 Can from Morrisons. Pour is clear amber, medium white head. Aroma is mango candy, peach, boiled caramel sweets. Taste follows suit but with more pronounced peach, tangerine, grapefruit, piney hop midway and on the finish. One of the classic British West-coast style IPAs from back in the day. Remember this being more bitter, but then times have changed, especially for this brewery, but then my palette might have moved on as well. Still good, but not as epic as I hoped. Hopefully soon we will get the devastatingly bitter 2021 version West-coast IPA we deserve, but who will deliver it?
3.4 Tropiki, w stylu mango marakuja, trochę żywicy, nafty. Piana znika do zera. Goryczka zaznaczona, dość długa. Alkohol bardzo dobrze ukryty. Dobre, ale nic więcej.
4.0 W aromacie cytrusy, owoce tropikalne, mango, bardzo przyjemnie. Wygląd to wzorcowa IPA. W smaku owoce tropikalne, mango, trawa. Na finiszu gorycz spora i spora pełnia, bardzo intensywne. Ogółem bardzo solidna, intensywna, owocowa i gorzka klasyczna IPA.
3.9 Smooth, full-flavoured IPA. But Robert sad the second can he had was terrible. This one, however, was great.
4.0 Pours a lovely looking hazy pale gold, with a bubbly white head, and a wonderful aroma of resinous pine and citrus fruit. It's bitterness to the fore with this, on a smooth, softly carbonated mouthfeel, with juicy citrus fruit and hop bitterness combining fabulously
3.0 30.1.21
3.8 향이아주진하다 잔에 따랐을때 부드럽게 거품이올라온다 깔끔한끝맛
3.5 440ml can. Pours a hazy golden orange sith a thin white head. Aroma of slightly dank citrus and tropical fruits. Taste is more of the same. Sweet arrival with an orange peel bitterness on the finish. Light to medium body. Dangerous, doesn't drink like 7.4%. Enjoyable IPA.
3.7 Ochutnano 27.11.2020 v Praze na návštěvě. zakoupeno v pivotece Base Camp. Podrobnosti dodam později.
4.6 Huge hops, long dry finish. Citrus nose.
3.7 Profumanta e con un persistente retrogusto di luppolo in bocca
3.6 From a Beer Shitehawk box I was gifted. Aroma combines pine, stone fruit and resin. Opaque amber gold. Foamy white head. Medium bitter. Stone fruit and resin. Underlying fruit sugar sweetness and malt. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. I didn't want to like this macro filth but it's very drinkable.
3.1 Very hoppy aftertaste. Not thick or tropical. Boozy
0.5 Not a fan. Too strong. OK ish with lemonade top
3.8 Can. Pretty hazy orange golden, smaller white head, not so lasting. Pretty nice resin nose, sweet peach and some pine notes. Moderate bitter, pretty dry. A bit herbal in the end. Lasting and strong aftertaste. Light body. Proper IPA.
4.4 It's a genuine adventure when you whack this down your neck hole. Starts off subtle and coy then explodes to a climax whilst spunking hoppy happiness all over your gob.
3.8 Magic Rock Cannonball 7.4%. Hazy golden, pine and citrus aroma, full bodied, wheat malt, pine, citrusy, grapefruit, orange peel. Gorgeous IPA from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
3.7 330ml can from Honest Brew. Hazy gold with a small, foamy white head. Citrus aroma, flavour is toffee and grapefruit. Way smoother than the ABV suggests
4.3 Una Ipa que nunca falla. Es placentero encontrarla de cuando en cuando en un grifo. Muy refrescante en boca y con ese punto necesario de amargor. Aromas sutiles a fruta de hueso.
3.7 Can from Honest Brew. Pours cloudy gold with bubbly white head which dissipates and leaves no lacing. Juicy and malt aroma, grapefruit and pine come through. Taste is citrus, grapefruit, grassy with low soft carbonation and a focused long lasting bitterness. The high ABV is noticeable but its still quite easy to drink. Nice balance.
2.3 Honey coloured beer smells savoury like toast with sweet honeysuckle after notes and citrus flavours of lemon and lime. Fizzes on the tongue and palate and has a very bitter pith taste
3.8 Looks heavy. Smells like frying burgers. Oh wait. That's the frying burgers. Tastes like delicious hops with an unexpected marzipan aftertaste. Well nice. I'm ready for a burger.
3.5 Can 330 ml ABV 7.4 % from Wine Rack near Turnham Green. Aroma is sweet of tropical fruit, citrus, grass. Pours a slightly hazy amber body with white head. Taste is rich a bitter with orangey bitterness and other tropical fruit.
4.0 AR: Hopfen, Frucht, Litschi, Marmelade, Zitrus, grasig AP: leicht trübes bernstein TA: Hopfen, bitter, blumig, grasig, kräuterig, Kiefer, Litschi,
3.0 Slightly hazy pale IPA. Way stronger than you would guess 7.4% which seems rather pointless.
3.7 Frothy white head on an unclear vivid amber coloured still body. Bitter, pith & malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth on the front with sharp back & dry cloying aft. Pith, citrus, pine, stewed fruit, malt & grapefruit tastes with a long bitter finish.
3.8 Hazy golden appearance. Aroma is citrus, hops and tropical. Flavour is bitter, hops, citrus and grassy.
4.0 Clear orange pour with firm fluffy head. Floral nose. Sweet, caramel tones with lots of hoppy and piney bitterness. Could drink this IPA all day long!
