4.1 Hazy sunshine, no head, really bright. Intense aroma: tropical fruit mostly. Full body, juicy, bitter finish. Well balanced and proper
4.0 Can from The Hop Inn, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. Pours a hazy deep golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of orange, mango, pine, biscuit, some grapefruit and slight herbal hops. Taste of orange, grapefruit, pine, resin, some mango, biscuit and slight herbal hops. Full bodied and an oily texture. A long, dry, pine and citrus hop bitterness in the finish. Strong west coast IPA flavours, sweeter mango and toasted biscuit. Dare I say this is better than un-human?
3.2 Can. Pours hazy orange with a moderate off-white foamy head. Aroma is biscuit, pine, mango, white cheese, grapefruit. Heavy sweet and bitter. Finishes bittersweet. This cheesy hop-soup has rather low drinkability despite an impressive balance of flavors.
4.0 Full of flavors of citrus fruits and resin. Good balance between hops and malts. Strong bitterness and enough sweetness to counter. Mmmmm!
4.0 25-07-18 // can from HonestBrew. Unclear dark orange. Small head. Sweet malty and hop nose. Strong malty backbone. Fruity hop aromas. Long lasting bitterness. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Fullbodied. Lively double IPA.
3.5 50 cl can @ home, Pours cloudy golden with a white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are pine, exotic fruit, and citrus - with a bitter finish.
4.0 Can. Cloudy gold to orange color. Medium body. Taste is medium bitter and light sweet. Aroma and flavour is apricots, pineapple, orange, hops.
3.7 Pours cloudy orange with medium head. Aroma is of tropical and citrus fruit with some pleasant herbish background. Taste is again very tropical fruit forward. Bitterness is higher than in a neipa, but still keeping the fruit forward character.
3.7 Can from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - cloudy golden. Decent thin head. Nose - guava, mango, fresh sweat. Taste - more sweat, a touch of resin and lime closes it out. Palate - medium-ish bodied. Creamy and tangy through the middle and finish. Overall - good balance. The nose is better than the taste generally.
4.4 Pint from keg bought at Roots (Valladolid). Bomb of hops, tropical, fruity and slight strong
3.5 16/20 no doubt it's a quality beer and if you want to slug on something nice while feeling your face become numb there's far worse. it's boosy, strong hop taste, strong bitterness, it's a big boy but pretty well balanced. gets the job done.
4.1 From 0.5L can. Pours golden orange, cloudy with a white head. Very intense hoppy aroma with citrus and tropical fruits. Taste is intense hoppy, very bold flavor, medium to heavy bitterness. Long, and a little alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, low to average carbonation. Nice one!
3.9 0,5l can at home shared with 2 friends. orange cloudy color, small white head. smells earthy, citric, oats, passion fruit, mango, light pines, bit grassy. very nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, citric, grassy, mango, passion fruit, pines, spices, bit peppery. finishes light to medium bitter with notes of mango, grass and some pines. very nice one. good old school ipa.
3.4 The aroma is full of peaches, pineapple, tangerine, mandarin and lemon. The color is reminiscent of mandarin juice. The taste is full of peaches, pineapple, tangerine, mandarin, apricot, passionfruit and mango. A nice beer!
4.2 500 ml can, bb 17/11/18. Amber, medium hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, white head. Aroma with lots of distinct, zesty and fleshy grapefruit notes, citrus, pine, some tropical fruits, moderate biscuit. Tastes very lovely, with similar aromas, some more biscuit and pine. Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes smooth, medium bitter, moderate dry, zesty, citric, piney, a bit sweet, with grapefruit, some tropical fruits, some biscuit. Very tasty! Lovely, distinct grapefruit notes throughout, supported by a crisp pine spiciness. Greatly balanced, with just enough biscuity malt body and an almost completely hidden alcohol, dangerously quaffable. Beautiful, characterful old-school DIPA. Score: 8 / 4 / 9 / 4 / 17
4.0 Boooyah, delicious full-bodied dipa with loads of fruity and pine hops balanced with the full malty base. Textbook west coast dipa, dangerously drinkable.
4.0 Can from Cotteridge at home. Golden colour with a thin head. Aroma malty and bitter hop taste and light sweetness. Full body and boozy.
Smask: Hierin duidelijk vol moutig, zoet, volle grassige old skool bitter.... love it! Bam! Spot on!
4.3 Cracking dipa this ! Not the most inviting of aromas, clear light golden appearance. Taste is just a hop / fruity melange of greatness, the real stand out character from this dipa. Palate is quite thin, but a pleasant lasting bitterness. Lovely, lovely dipa.
3.9 Appearance is cloudy, amber, a one-finger off-white head. Aroma- caramel malt, hop resin, pineapple, grapefruit, fresh hops. Taste- bitter hops, juicy fruit, pineapple, orange peel, hint of mango, pithy fruit. Caramel biscuity malt undertones. Honey traces. Bitter finish.
3.8 Tap at So Good in Rome. Clear orange/golden color, tick orangish foam. Nose: it starts a bit malty, orange, malty becomes more firm. Mouth; strong amberish maltiness, bodied and malty alcohol notes, sweet finish with a lovely hoppy overall and a sharp bitterness.
4.1 500mL can, pours a hazy golden orange with medium white head. Aroma is quite dank, with lots of piney, dank hops, light resins, and biscuity malt. Flavour is wonderfully dank, with piney, herbal, pot-like hops, and light biscuity malt. Nicely dank, moderately fruity, and wonderfully hoppy. Excellent beer.
4.2 Turbid/opaque golden/amber beer with a slight off-white head. Medium/heavy aroma; taste starts medium/heavy sweet and ends slightly/medium bitter and dry. Orange, tropical fruit, hops and citrus. 8/5/8/4
4.3 500 ml can @Bumble Inn, Peterborough. Orange/golden, cloudy. Nose - lots of tropical and citrus fruit with pine backbone. Taste - same as nose. Great stuff.
4.1 Zajebiste piqo. Super ulozone. Aromat mega intensywne. Smak tez. Chmiel zaraviscie ulozony
3.8 500ml can(s). Slightly cloudy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Citrusy and tropical fruity, hoppy aroma with grassy, fresh hay addendum, notes of lemon, lime and passion fruit, hints of candie dorange zest, condensed piney flavours form a hoppy basis, a biscuity pale malty layer is fundamental for the entire construct. Taste is piney, citrusy and tropical fruity hoppy with little papery inteferences and a plastic touch, notes of lemon, lime and passion fruit again, a touch of orange zest, candied orange zest; biting bitter finish. Close to the New England interpretation of (I)IPAs, less hazy and juicy, but with the same kind of dry, mineral, cardboard or plastic effect.
4.0 Creamy off white head stayed on a hazy sand coloured body. Pine, resin, hop overkill & grapefruit aroma. Medium bodied, smooth, cloying & dry. This is full on hop burn, onion, bitter pithy grapefruit, pine & resin tastes with a boozy finish. Served in a 500ml can, this is a monster!
4.0 8 3 8 4 17 Can shared. Fairly hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of big grapefruit with citrus, pine and pineapple notes. Flavour is light moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with some light hop burn in the finish and soft carbonation.
