2.4 Draught in September 2018. Too malty, lots of grain. Medium tart. the gose part seems to have been slightly lost. The gooseberry part seems to have been lost altogether.
3.4 Can. Pours clear pale golden, low white head. Aroma of white fruits, tartness in the nose. Taste is semi-sweet, very low bitterness. Flavor of white fruits, slightly malty. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Pretty good, great mouthfeel, but not much of a gose really.
3.3 Light tartness in the nose with a refreshing hint of gooseberry with a taste of fresh fruits and mineral note which scratches the palate with its gentleness. Creepy creamy, extra refreshing but it needs be more salty to be a real gose. However hella drinkable.
3.4 0.33 can C: murky light orange N: salt, gooseberry, fizzy candy P: flat, prickly, vegetal, gooseberry skins, salty, lime, faded sour tone, quite light overall.
3.5 Thicker than most sours. Enjoyable.
3.2 ( can) Aroma: malt, old stale lemon. Taste: lightly sour, flavour of malt, salt and lemon. Palate: medium body, medium carbonation. Overall: Decent
3.5 Hazy light golden with medium white head. Aroma: tart, gooseberry, mineral with touch of yeast. Taste: gooseberry, tart, light saltiness. Light bodied, low to medium carbonation, low to moderate bitterness. Tasty only higher bitterness us bit disturbing here.
3.4 Can. Malty gooseberries sour aroma and taste, light to medium sour and bitter. Light to medium body, sour salty gooseberry finish. Ok.
3.0 Can. Cloudy gold, thin short lived white head and low condition. Pine resin and seaweed, some lemon and a hint of funky yeastiness in the nose, soft and slightly sweet in the mouth with hints of lemon and a chalky yeastiness , some sweet grainy malt emerging as it warms, finish is briefly fruity with a hint of lemon citrus and a gentle lingering sweetness.
3.2 Citrus tartness, almost sour, good bubble. Unusual, would try again
3.0 Puszka. Mętne o złotym kolorze. Piana raczej mała,o białym kolorze i drobnych pecherzach, zanika bardzo szybko. W aromacie białe owoce pestkowe, agrest trochę winnych nut. W smaku ponownie agrest, owoce pestkowe, trochę cierpkich nut cytrusowych.. rzeskie i pijalne
4.0 Ordered online at LCBO, this gooseberry flavoured Gose > Gose. Nice everything. Surprising.
3.3 330ml can at Tonkotsu, London. Cloudy gold colour with white head. Tart gooseberry, salt, light bready malt, lactic, light tart rhubarb, light tart citrus. Nice gose, would prefer a bit more gooseberry taste
3.2 33cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours hazy pale gold with limited white foam. Aroma is yeasty and mineral. Body is kind of thin with average carbonation. Taste is moderately bitter, medium salty and delicately sour. Finish is short and clean.
2.9 On tap@ Taproom Jungbusch. Naturtrüb gelb. Dünner feiner Schaum. Salzig, leicht seifiger Duft. Mild säuerlicher Geschmack. Unreife Stachelbeere, Zitronenschale. Wenig Kohlensäure. Hohe Trinkbarkeit, aber etwas lasch.
3.5 Fresh fruity aroma. Expectedly sour but not overly so. Fruity, some malt. Slight lingering bitterness. Not my favourite style but still very nice.
3.4 22 June 2019. At Billie's Bier Kafetaria, Antwerp. Shared with the lovely Anke! Pours hazy yellow with a small, thinning, frothy, white head. Aroma of gooseberries, pineapple slice, lemon & lime, grass, wheat, yellow apple, unripe mandarin. Taste is light to medium fruity sour, gooseberries indeed, lemon & lime, toned down a bit by sweetish apple & apricot on a wheaty & bready base, faintest touch of salt with a slightly bitter edge. Dryish, grassy hoppy finish, lingering sour yellow fruit, salt, wheat. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. I was hoping for a bit more depth & strength but it was enjoyable - I'll be lenient.
2.5 Not as rich as I was hoping - tart fruit, acidic, but maybe I just don't like Gose.
3.4 (Not longer the collaboration, but feels the same as before) Pours hazy orange, a finger of white head, some lacing. Tart on the nose with gooseberry, wheat malts and some yeast. Tastes salty and slightly tart, cos of the gooseberry, which is quite straightforward. Light and crisp, legit summer beer, which is a blessing in Hong Kong!
3.0 Can from M&S. Light hazy yellow with a short head. Aroma of tart fruit. Flavour is tart lemon, dry base, missing some salt.
3.1 Canned from Keepin'it Hoppy in Mestreech. Hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Floral nose. Aroma is soft with herbs, sour berries and salt. Flavour is sour and salt. Nice.
3.2 Lacks some salt to be a perfect gose. The sea buckthornes are more easily discernable than the gooseberry. Ok
3.2 Can. BBE Sept 2019; Drank Feb 2019 - Hazy yellow with a small white head. Fruity; citrus lemon, light gooseberry. Malty; wheaty malts, hay. Hoppy; moderate hop bitterness, grassy hops. Lightly tart, sour and salty. Bittersweet citrus fruity malty lightly salty throughout. OK. Refreshing. (2019-02)
3.1 330ml can. Pours slightly hazy pale golden with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of salt, spices, lemon - slightly sour. Tastes similar to the aroma. Some fruity notes as well. Quite crisp and fresh. Mild to moderate sourness. Mild bitterness on the back end. Looks like I am slowly warming to the sour style of beers. Not quite a convert yet though.
3.6 Trübes gelb, flacher schaum, im Geruch leicht fruchtig getreidig, nur sanft sauer leicht stachelbeere etwas flach im Abgang ne Spur Salz, könnte mehr wums vertragen
3.3 The aroma is slightly sour, quite pleasant with notes of lemon and salt. Yellow, dull, foam quickly passes. Wheat, moderate acidity, a little lemon, dry aftertaste. Carbonization high, effervescent.
3.4 Tap at Craft Room. Spicy aroma, dates, salt. Hazy to cloudy golden color with medium sized white head. Salty taste, spicy, bit peppery, some citrus and citrus tartiness. Thin to medium body, average, sparkly carbonation.
3.3 Pours cloudy yellow with no minimal head. Salty, slightly sour, bitter, gooseberry and sour citrus fruit. Some spices, with notable pepper. A little different but nice.
3.8 330 ml can. Aroma is gooseberry, lychee, red fruit, smells like Citra hops. Flavour is tart gooseberry, lychee, unriped red fruit, salty, medium sour. Crisp, refreshing and good.
3.6 Can, at The Bicycle Shed. Pours an orange gold with a white head. Aroma: gooseberries, salt, mild raspberry, mild lemon notes. Taste: gooseberries, lemon, salt, mild floral flavours. Medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Easy drinking and quite refreshing. This was quite nice. Am very keen to try it on tap.
