3.4 # 674 et # 681; 3/2017. V chuti lehčí, silně chmelenej bock, alkohol lehce patrný, lehké citrusové tóny.
3.6 Draught at the brewery - Golden/light amber with a white head. Citrus, floral hops and white bread in the aroma. Fairly hoppy taste, especially for a bock, with floral hops, mown grass, citrus plus hints of aniseed and chamomile.
2.7 Golden colour, minimal head. Light malty taste of grains and bread. Light metallic taste. Good carbonation.
3.5 7-3-7-4-14 On tap @ What’s Brewing, Stavanger. Pours hazy dark yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is fruity malts with toffee, honey and grassy notes, as well as sweet fruity hops. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is pale malts with cereals and, toffee and honey, as well as wet grassy hops with leaves and minerals.
3.4 Bottle. Gold with a white head that never quite disappears. Aroma of bread, spices, some lemon. Still pretty light bodied, nice moderate carbonation. Tastes much as it smells with not all that much sweetness but a solid maltiness, immaculate clean palate, modest bitterness that is just enough to present itself as a finish. It's not very interesting but is very good of its ilk. Certainly the best beer I've had that has MORE ALCOHOL (auf Deutsch) on the front label.
3.9 Bottle, Heller Bock. Golden, sparkly, golden foam. Juicy malt with perfumed and grassy hop aroma. Medium full chewy fruity malt with a very good grassy bitter and light floral hop counterpoint. Herbal and grassy aftertaste. Sparkly. Quite quaffable.
3.2 Als „Heller Bock“ in neuer Flasche. In der Nase schöne Honignoten. Im Trunk süß, Honig, Getreide, gefährlich hohe Drinkability. Süffig.

3.2 Pours clear, pale yellowblonde. Medium sized head, medium to medium low stability. Smell is rich, bready pale malts , bit cereal, mild grassy / spicy / noble style hops. very light , allowed notes of DMS. Taste is medium to medium high intense, very malty ( cereal, white, soaky bread ) mild metallic note. Very hoppy, i'd say ( noble style hoppyness ) crisp malty aftertaste. Earlier Rating: 12/11/2017 Total Score: 3.6 Sampled at Billies craftbeerfest 2017. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Don't mind my visual info to much, as lighting was really terrible. 3.1 500ml bottle at the brewpub. Aroma is medium most, pear, light apple. Appearance is clear golden with small white foam. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Untypical but very good Bock.
2.9 Der Antrunk ist überraschend hopfig, der Malz wird von der Würzigkeit und von den verschiedenen Hopfennoten verdrängt!

2.6 Bottle enjoyed at home Golden clear, white head. Smell of light malts, hay, hints of dust and grass. Moderate sweet, some grain, hay, spices, hops, clean malts. Moderate bitter, grassy tail. Just ok
3.3 500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Slightly sweetish but pleasant aroma of light malts and floral and herbal hops, hints of honey and newmown grass. The flavour is slightly sweet, but not too much, distinctly malty, but also with distinct floral and herbal hops, and a bitter finish.
3.4 Draft. Strong very malty golden beer. Sweet, caramel malty, buttery. Quite hoppy. Very bitter finish. Well balanced. Nice bock. (2008)
3.9 My Bottom Line: Bready pils malts and delicate herbal hops coalesce in this crisp Heller Bock. Further Personal Perceptions: -A slice of foam tops the translucent golden. -Mouthfeel is rather lean for the style, which increases drinkability. -The soft bubbling makes everything more comfortable too. -Alcohol is a no-show in the flavour profile. -This one is not all that memorable, but everything it does, it does very well. Bottle.
2.8 Hell malziger, schnell würzig werdender Start. Eher trockene Herbe, der Alkohol ist erahnbar. Geringe Süße, bitter zum Ende. 8/9/8/8/11/8
3.0 03.11.2016 at Mahrs Bräu - Plain Bock with warming caramel notes. Simple drinkable bad-weather-beer. A typical bockiger Bock.
3.9 Slightly darker than golden, visible carbonation and the slightest bit of haziness. Big and pretty dense head, good retention and lacing. Aroma shows cereal and white bread, slight honey, refreshing lemony and grass notes, flowery hints. Taste follows the aroma; starts moderately sweet with perfect balance between bready/cereal malts and grassy notes, finishes delicately bitter with a kiss of flowery hops. Body is quite on the light side for the 6.5%abv, moderate crispness, overall the beer feels gentle and slightly oily. Pretty fine and highly drinkable heller bock.
2.2 500ml bottle (Random corner shop, Berlin) Sweat, maybe ginger, but a bit papery, aroma. Sweet malty aroma. Taste is scarily starchy. Weak and just starchy. Bad rough strong lager.
2.4 500ml bottle (random place, Czech). BB 16.06.2016. Clear golden color. Huge size, fluffy white head, stays. Malty, papery, glue in aroma. Sweet, malty, some hops, papery in taste. Medium carbonation. Papery, sweet and corny in aftertaste. Naah.
2.6 Drank this as Brummelbock, I guess this is it. Clear golden color, average sized white head with low retention. Aroma of bread, hay, some hops. Taste of bread, hay, green apples, some fruitiness. Dominantly malty as the style dictates, but you can taste some hops also. Medium body, average carbonation. Good and surprisingly lasty aftertaste. Not my style, but its OK. Definitely drinkable. -- rated with beerbasher/winphone
