3.4 Tap, courtesy of the BPBW crew. Pale yellow pour, white head. Nose is lightly sweet malts with grassy notes. Taste is sweetish malty initially, showing hay and bread, but then there’s some grassy, herbal bitterness for balance. Closes with a moderately dry, bitterish finish, has a light, slightly crisp body and soft to average carbonation.
3.2 Smell of grain, hops. Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of grass, bread, malt. Light body. Lively carbon. Medium bitter, fresh.
3.8 (Keg at Pikkulintu, 20210529) The beer poured golden and lightly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grain, grass and light sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grain, grass, light sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A rather soft and very grainy brew. Tasty.
3.3 50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 03.08.2021 Aroma has buttery malt, hay and some grassy hops. Flavour has butter, cereal, some grassy hops and mild birch leaves. Malty, hoppy and still balanced.
2.9 0,5 bottle. Very light color, the head is nice white, medium size. Aroma: not very intense. I prefer to feel malt only on it, hops only faintly. The taste was better (after all, that’s the point). An easy pilsner, as the Germans usually make it. Freshly carbonated. Aroma of hops can feel fruity as well. It is not as bitter as the Czech pilsner, it is more floral, tastier. It was good. *** Igen világos szín, a habja szép fehér, közepes méretű. Aroma komlóka is érezni, gyümölcsös is. Nem annyira keserű, mint a cseh pilsenik, ez inkább virágosabb, ízesebb. Jó volt. A hidegkomlózás jól sikerült, anélkül szerintem elég közepes pileni lett volna... A habja a vártnál jobban tartott!
3.5 selymes lágy, komlóval és malátával átítatott fresh forrásvíz, nem hiába jajongok a bambergóc főzetekért, ez is meghazudtolta magát.
3.1 On tap at Mahr's, Bamberg. Almost clear golden with white head. Sweet, light fruity, bit metallic at first. Moderate carbonation. Light bodied. Expected more somehow.
3.2 500ml bottle as Mahrs Bräu Pils, purchased at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Shared with Finn. Clear straw coloured body, covering white head, fair lacing. Moderate smell of pale malts and oily hops. Smooth taste profile of mid-sweet pale malts, moments of bread, and noble hops. Elegant, discreet bitterness to the ending. Rounded moutfeel. Pizza friendly. Pretty good. (Tromsø 12.09.2020).
3.1 Spandert av Rune. Delt i WCveien. Gylden. Lavt kremaktig skum. Parfymert gressaroma. Smaken tørr. Mais. Gress. God. Tørr avslutning.
3.2 Bottle. Pours a mid gold colour with a thin white head, light hop aroma with hints of lemon, the taste is medium bitterness and fruity with a dry bitter finish.
3.3 Gold with a frothy white head. Grassy and lemony aroma. Taste is mildly bitter with some citric tartness at the finish. Decent pilsener.
3.5 Bottle at home. It pours clear pale yellow - good frothy white head. The aroma is fresh, clean, white bread, cracker, grass, apple skin and floral accents. The taste is firmly dry, crisp, nice hit of bitterness, grass, clean, light herbal accents, floral vibes, cracker and peppery spice. Finish is dry and grassy. Lighter end of medium body and moderate fluffy carbonation. Fresh and well put together. Rounded and quaffable.
3.4 50cl bottle. Poured clear golden in color with a steady white head. Grainy and grassy with fairly low sweetness. Grassy, hoppy and crisp. Balanced. Tasty pils.
3.1 Pale golden with a white head - Malt aroma - Malt body with some hpo bitterness to balance - The malt and hops goes into the finish - This was nice
4.1 Dry Hoppata
3.6 slightly hazy, unfermented wort, apples and Muscat dry hoppy nose. Medium bitterness. Medium body. Great depth and balanced
2.0 Tap (TCBW2018) (4:2:4:2:8=2.0) Pale, brief head. Sweet macro-ish pale lager aroma. Grainy taste. Light palate, crisp carbonation. Totally macro, but clean. Relatively drinkable, but uninteresting to me.
2.8 Gold, feine Krone. Strohig, grasig und ein paar hopfige Noten. Mittel.
3.8 Tap at MCBT. People were raving about these guys: Mahrs Bray Pils Matte copper with a perfumes aroma, medium bodied with lots of chewy malts, graham and honey. Nice crisp bitter herbal finish. Lovely crushable stuff.
3.3 At the source. Clear a bit pale golden, medium sized white head. Aroma is hayish, a bit floral blossom hoppiness. Flavor is malts, lightly bitter malts. Hard to describe better but distinctively different from the helles we had alongside. Interesting. 7-5-6-3-12.
2.5 Sampled at MBCC 2019. Low fluffy and quickly disappearing white head. Clear amber body. Sweet fruity honey aroma and flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short finish.
3.6 Fat på MBCC 2019, blå session. Kristallklar ljusguldig med vit krona. Bröd, citrus, honung.
3.5 Pale golden, almost perfectly transparent. Average sized white head shows good enough retention and nice lacing. Aroma shows a delicate cereal and hay base, slight lemon, fresh grassy hoppiness with a flowery hint. Overall well defined, though not too intense. Taste shows good complexity whilst maintaining a clean profile. Hay and cereal and even a hint of honey sweetness, slight lemon, flowery hops, grassy finish with a semi-dry grassy aftertaste. Overall a bit sweeter than your classic german pils. Light bodied with average carbonation, high drinkability. A nice pils.
4.4 2.90 euros for 0.5ml tap beer at the brewery. Incredible lager. Strong fruit freshness. Joyous beer.
3.0 pils semplice, buona ma niente di particolare
3.3 $4.35 pint+ bottle from Wine Warehouse. Golden, small soft white head. Aroma is crisp grain, grasses. Flavor is grain, green grass, bitter green leaf, light brown leaf. Simple but pretty good.
