2.1Pale gold, unappealing corny nose with a hint of ascorbic, thin-sweet and dry-grassy, weird finish is bitter and thin, yet sticky and sweet. Drinkable but only just.
2.4Aroma of malts and some metallic notes. Taste is watery, bland. Low to medium bitterness. Not so good.
2.4Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from 'Flaschenfreund', best before September 2018. Clear, golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately grassy-spicy aroma of straw and some grains. Just a bit sweet, moderately bitter, pretty dry, almost watery and slightly grassy-spicy taste of straw and some grains, followed by a short, moderately bitter, fairly dry and slightly grassy-spicy finish. Thin body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very clean, very neutral. Pretty misleading name I'd say.
2.5From bottle. Transfer of an earlier rating without text recorded, rating only.
2.5Bottle. Pours clear golden with quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is hops, lemon, malt, grass. Taste is sweet with malt, grass, candy. Sweet aftertaste.
1.5Pours pale gold from the bottle. The white head soon fizzes away. Aroma is light straw, hints of malty sweetness. Taste is bland, mildly bitter, on a light and watery palate. The almost acrid note that comes up at the finish is unpleasant. Avoid.
1.8Bitterer Antrunk, sehr wässriger Geschmack ohne Malzkörper. Hopfenbetont und säuerlich im Abgang. Energiereduziert!
2.1January 2017 - Bottle share at One Canada Square. Thanks Fergus! As ’Maisels Edelhopfen Extra’, 4.8%. Pale yellow, still and clear, diminishing white head. Aroma is corn, sugary, melon and sweetcorn. Body is smooth, soft to tingly carbonation. Taste is card, papery, watery sugars, slight sweetcorn vibe. Very meh. (2.1)
2.7Pale yellow beer white head.
Not much taste, some bitter notes. Boring and disappointing.
2.8Bottle split at L42, thanks to Fergus, 23/01/17.
Clear golden with a moderate off white head that dissipates to nyadda.
Nose is bready, straw, grains, corn, cereals.
Taste comprises pale malts, grass, faint citric notes, corn, cereals, light vanilla flicker.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok for style.
2.30,33l Flasche. Hellgelbes klares Bier mit weissem Schaum. Erdig-grasiger Hopfenduft. Im Antrunk recht pappig. Gras, Stroh, Bitterhopfen. Kaum Frucht. Ok, aber muss ich nicht nochmal haben.

Level 42 bottleshare. Thanks to Fergus. Bright clear gold beer, no head. Palate is smooth, semi dry and has decent carbonation. Light malts bring papery sweetness. Mild spice and a forensic trace of citric hop. Light papery finish. Surprisingly bad.
2.050cl bottle shared at Level 42. Many thanks to Fergus for this one. It pours a clean pale yellow color with a minimal white head. Aroma is fruity grainy with notes of starch and plastic. Taste is also grainy and sweet with more starch and grains. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, not great
2.9Bottle shared in CW - thanks to Fergus. Pours clear yellow with a creamy, white head. Nice crispy biscuit aroma, faint citrus impressions, cereal. Light sweet flavour, a little dry and papery, with more cereal, husky Dryid grains. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry finish with more light papery notes, crispy cereal, mild husky bitterness. So so.
2.4Bottle shared on Level 42 23/01/2017. A clear pale golden yellow coloured pour with a loose fine white head. Aroma is semi sweet cereal grains, little apple, paper. Flavour is composed of pale grains, dull, little oxidised, apple. Palate is semi sweet. Crisp, moderate carbonation. Meh.
2.1Bottle shared at level 42. It pours clear dehydrated pissy yellow with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, grainy, bready, cereal, buttered toast and a bit of butterscotch. The taste is crisp, dry, sweet, cheap white bread, toasty grain, cereal, soda water and a touch of butterscotch with a sweetish finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. A bit sweet. A so - so lagerbier.
3.0Duft nach Getreide und Malz. Feine Hopfenbittere auf der Zunge. Zunächst kam es mir etwas wässrig rüber, gegen Flaschenende beim zweiten Glas war es jedoch voller und aromatischer.
2.7bottle oro limpida schiuma media buona persistenza leggero naso maltato un po di lievito leggero erbaceo amaro medio
2.133cl Bottle from Burg Bieren. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet malts, not really bready like most German lagers, herbal hops. Flavour is light sweet, aluminium, herbal, thin, fizzy, harsh bitterness. Light bodied, fizzy. Maisels unworthy imho.
0.9- hellgelbe Farbe
- geringe, schnell zerfallende Schaumbildung
2.5Clear yellow with quickly vanishing white head. Aroma is cooked beans, sugar, grassy hops, maybe even soap. Taste is pretty sour and some hoppy bitterness. High carbonation, fizzy mouthfeel but a nice long bitter finish. Meh.
2.1Pours a thin head on a clear golden body.
The aroma is not too pleasant, grain and dirt.
The taste is mild bitterness, watery, a little metallic finish.
The texture is crisp.
Not good.
2.5Bottle 50cl. Poured into a footed pilsner glass. Clear pale golden, tall foamy white to off-white head, diminishing slowly, good lacing; aroma malty, grain, cooked vegetables, wet hay; taste light to medium sweet and bitter, malty, light hoppy, leading to a light bitter aftertaste, quite metallic;
light body, watery texture, soft carbonation; mediocre pilsner, I didn’t like it.
2.80.33l bottle from hieber, 0.70€.
pours a clear golden with a small white head and some lacing. aroma of hay, grass, vegetables. flavour of grass, cucumber, green apples. dry, slightly bitter finish. refreshing. nothing special, but not so bad for a light beer.
2.5Flasche 0,5l: Golden, glasklar, mittelporiger Schaum; frische Nase, relativ süß, mild, leicht fruchtig, leichte Zitrusnoten, malzige Noten; im Körper frisch und fruchtig, deutliche Säure, Zitrusaromen, Kohlensäure, malzig, leicht gehopft, im Körper etwas flach; frischer, leicht trockener Nachgang
3.0Meiner Meinung nach leckeres "Light" Bier.
Schmeckt leicht hopfig. Ansonsten nicht sehr viel.
Erinnert im Nachgeschmack an Club Mate.
