3.1 Bottle 0.33l from trade with zvsn, many thanks, Zeev! Black colored. AROMA- low, chocolate, roasted malts. FLAVOR- neutral, a bit sour, lightly bitter, roasted malts, touch of coffee, metal. Medium bodied. Not bad.
3.2 330ml bottle in Jerusalem, bb 11.04.2017. Pours dark brown out of the bottle, which looks black in the glass, with a finger+ of creamy beige head. (4) There’s a layer of gummy yeast at the base of the bottle, which I swirled and added to the glass. Aroma is quite rich, sweet roasted barley, wood, toasted coconut, a little chocolate and coffee, a little plastic? (7) Flavor is balanced: lite chocolate sweetness pretty much from start to finish dominates, slight tartness to go along -- not complex at all, not quite roasty enough, not a slow sipper of a stout. (6) Body is disappointingly on the light side, with medium carbonation. (2) Overall barely decent, too tame.. (13)
3.5 Bottle. Very dark dense oily pour with a smaller brown head. Dark chocolate, roast, hint of alcohol sweetness. Pretty good.
2.7 Bottle from Whole Foods in Berkeley. It pours black with a dark brown, fizzy head. The aroma is hard roasted and acidic with hints of dark fruit. The flavor has a little acid and lots of dirty roasted malt. Somewhat cola-like. Some burnt sugar and dark fruit in the finish. Way too much black malt for my tastes. The mouth feel borders on acrid. High, fizzy carbonation and a light to medium body. Meh.
3.5 Bottle. Blackish beer with a brown head. Chocolate and roast aroma. Roast and chocolate flavor with light nuttiness. Medium bodied. Roast and chocolate linger.
3.3 11.2 oz. bottle. pours almost black with a two-finger tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Taste is roasty, with chocolate, coffee, licorice, dust and dark fruit. Decent, but could be better.
3.8 330 ml bb 25.09.16. Shared by Werckmeister, thanks! Almost black body, with a small, dense, creamy, dark beige head. Aroma of espresso, milk chocolate, caramel, liquorice, some vanilla, some dark fruits. Tastes of coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, liquorice, toast, some wood, subtle dark fruits. Medium, creamy mouhfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes medium roasty-bitter, medium dry, a bit wooden, with coffee, liquorice, cocoa powder, some dark chocolate, some toast. Very nice. Especially the nose is lovely, with a perfect balance between roasty and sweet notes. Taste is a bit lighter, while also really nice and also quite easy for the style. Overall a pleasant surprise, very enjoyable stuff.
3.8 0,33l bottle at home shared with Saeglopur from trade with tomer, big thanks. BB 24.09.2016. black color, small tan head. smells quite earthy, milky, coffee, bitter chocolate, light vanilla. quite good smell. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, bitter chocolate, coffee, some vanilla, licorice, some roast. finishes lightly earthy bitter and roasty with notes of coffee and bitter chocolate. quite nice and enjoyable beer, rather complex even.
3.5 Bottle. Thanks to Tomer. Black body with tan head. Aroma is roasted malts with dried fruits and hints of soy sauce. Taste is mild roasted malts with some sourness and hints of fruits. Aftertaste is roasted malts bitterness with some sourness.
3.5 Bottle courtesy of Max. Great to be able to try an Israeli beer. Pours a deep brownish body with soft lacing. Notes of rich roast, cocoa and malt. Solid stout overall.
3.1 11.2oz bottle - pours a watery midnight black and a thin brown head. A yummy aroma of dark chocolate, coffee and charcoal. A thin mouthful delivers dry roasty barley, mocha and and a short taste of char.
2.7 Had a bottle, pours black brownish, light nose of burnt cocoa. Pretty bland in mouth, mild cocoa and coffee. Not sweet. No personality, no one needs to drink this...
3.1 Bottle @ Jewish Food Festival. Smells sweet and roasty, coffee and chocolate. Taste is roasty and not too sweet. Decent.
4.0 From the bottle poured a dark brew with a creamy dark head. lots of toasty malty aroma and flavor. Nice little hop finish.
3.2 Coffee and roast aroma. Oats appear as it warms. Black with full brown head. Slick and roasty. Thinnish mouthfeel. Low bitterness.
3.7 Keg at Beer Market. Black with tan head. Strong chocolate aroma, some coffee, some burnt notes. Taste is roasty, chocolate and coffee. Dry with a long chocolate finish. Nice. Brewed in a kibbutz, just like me
3.6 Pours a very dark chestnut brown color that appears black in the glass with a two finger mocha head that slowly settles into a thin, lasting ring. Decent retention with spotty lacing left behind. Much darker than expected, especially the frothy dark beige head. Impressive looking. Slightly smokey dark malt aroma with a nice balance of roast and sweeter notes. Robust with burnt sugar, oatmeal, toast and espresso bean followed by sweeter, dessert-like coco, ate malt. Subtle earthy hop presence as well. Medium body with a slight creamy texture but also a bit watery if that makes an sense. Mouthfeel kind of reminds me of nitro. Some dry, roasted bitterness up front but not acrid or unpleasant. Burnt dark malts with hints of bittersweet dark chocolate, oatmeal and coffee bean followed by subtle resinous hops, lactic cream and lighter malt notes, notably lighter chocolate and caramel sweetness. The mouthfeel is a bit off but this beer is well balanced with some nice flavors complimenting each other. This style can be boring but this was pretty complex. I hated the pale ale but this is a good beer from this newish brewery that has me interested in trying more of their offerings.
3.7 Bottle: Thanks DSG: Shaker: Small beige light brown head. Black beer. Aromas of coffee, roast, chocolate, coffee roast, some mocha... Flavours of coffee, roast, chocolate, coffee roast, some mocha, bitters and light marzipan... Aftertaste is coffee, roast and some bitters with a light chocolate edge. Low carbo, light creamy mouthfeel, good medium bodied. Enjoyable and very decent stout.
3.6 Bottle from Argonaut (CO). Thanks to Brokensail for pointing out the Israel tick. Poured to lagunitas jar glass. Nose is moderate in cocoa but shows some fudge and maybe some molasses. Faint coffee. Black pour with minimal head. Taste is a showcase of chocolate covered coffee beans with a light vanilla note and a dry coffee finish. Clean, quenching palate with just enough silky mouthfeel to balance it out. A light warming in the wars after a few sips shows some alcohol, but isn’t hot. Overall very good. I would drink again but would like it toned down in the abv. Tends to get a little peppery as it warms from the alcohol.
3.7 Bottle at the DC Local Gathering on 8/1/2015. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of roast, chocolate, coffee. Tastes of roast, chocolate, caramel, malt. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

3.0 Botella de @zvsn Thanks. ( Última botella de mi primer intercambio) BBD: 26/06/15. Color negro, espuma beige, aromas torrefactos, sabor dulce, final ácido y seco. Cuerpo ligero.
3.1 bottle at craigs from tomer, cheers! dusty cocoa and toasted baley on nose. more of same in flavour but a touch thin
3.3 Dark, opaquey brown with a thin viscous film and crusty ran ring. Nose is soft choc, spicy and instant coffee. Lean choc, lean malt and soft enough. Nothing biting here apart from a green coffee buzz. Very soft carbonation, but painfully thin mouthfeel. Neat and tea like towards the finish with some brassy bitterness. Linger isn’t lean, nice and dusty choc - but the flavour boat had already sailed here. Bottle, Beers I Hadn’t Known Were Gushers Daisy Tasting
