3.1 0,5l Flasche.
3.3 0,5l bottle. Pours dark brown with tanned medium head. Yeast, dried fruits, medium carbonation. Good mouthfeel.
3.1 Owoce (gruszka, morela, mus jabłkowy), rodzynki, karmel, drożdże, delikatne nutki pikantne, przyprawowe oraz miodowe. Średnia treściwość. Słodkie. Goryczka średnia do niskiej, głównie alkoholowa.
3.3 Makea, jopa hieman äklöksi asti, vahva naku ja hedelmäinen tuoksu. Kivasti kuplii lasissa ja hento vaahto viipyilee reunoilla.
3.5 Hana @ Rooster, Oulu.
3.0 Bought from Alko on Åland islands. Amber colour with a fine Malty taste with a fine bitter aftertaste.
3.0 Bottle from Alko. Aroma of a dirty plain industrial macro lager, a bit on the malty side. Nice sweet taste though, matching soft bitterness, medium carbonation and body. Sweet sticky palate. Okay.
3.1 Bottle. 8.0%. Best before 28.04.16. Pours a cloudy dark amber, with a diminishing off-white/light tan head. Decent lacing though. Aroma is sweetish and a bit tart, with citrusy and spicy notes; sort of a minty note, hinted. Fruity and a bit fat as it warms. Flavour is fat, sweet and fruity, with a yeast note. A light spicy note as well. Fatter, fruiter and (a bit) yeastier finish. Lingering mild alcohol burn. Overall okay, but not really my thing. 24.02.16.
3.6 500ml bottle. thanks to Hermod. Appearance: Minimally cloudy, reddish. golden copper colour with a small frothy, half-way lasting off-white head. Head leaves minimally Aroma: Fruity, (Red Apples, Pears, red berries, Juniper),grainy and spicy yeasty aroma, hints of laurel, a minimally phenolic touch. Taste: Fruity sweet i( red apple, pear, red berries), dry hints, spicey peppery tones of the yeast kicks in. And it’s finished of by some herbal tones. soft carbonation, average body.oily texture. Good balanced beer.
3.2 500 ml bottle from Alko. Hazy amber with thin off white head. Fruity, ripe fruit, dried fruit, spicy yeast and dough. Semi sweet with medium bitterness and medium carbonation.
2.0 Butelka z wfp, warka do 31.08.2016. Wysycenie srednie, goryczka niska, posmaki umiarkowanie sympatyczne, przyprawowo-slodkawe z odczuwalnym w gardle alkoholem. Ewidentnie nie dla mnie piwo. 3.0 Pours with minimal fully diminishing off-white head. Murky medium brown body. Taste is medium malty with notes of hay, molasses. Light hops with lemon and ripe fruits. Medium yeasty aroma with notes of dough and earth. Heavy sweetness, light bitter, short medium acidic, medium bitter finish. Body is medium, palate is oily, carbonation is flat.
3.4 Butelka 0,5l zakupiona na Warszawskim Festiwalu Piwa.Kolor bursztynowy, mętnawy, piana średnia. Aromaty różne owocowe, miodu, trawy. Smak owocowy intensywny, goryczka dobra, pozostawia intensywny ale przyjemny posmak w ustach, dobre piwo.
3.4 Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - dark Amber pour with off white head. Aroma and taste is sweet malty with dark dried fruits, some caramel, toffee, nutty, pretty decent. ---Sent via Beer Buddy for iPhone
3.4 Bottle@ølmesse, Voldby (29-08-15). Pours golden with a white head. Aroma and taste is malts, caramel, some fruits, brown sugar, some spices. Soft carbonation. Bittersweet finish.
3.6 My very first Belgian Strong Ale, a style I didn’t even know existed until now. So, what is this beer telling me? It’s a bit hazy copper brown in the glass, the pour gave me a one-finger, thick beige head, but it died down quickly. Nice lacing. Aroma is caramel and honey, some fruits and probably belgian style yeast. Taste give me a cascade of dark fruits, candy sugar, spice and honey. Very pleasant mild mouthfeel, not bitter, not much carbonation, and not sweet. Just a hint of alcohol, but it’s there.
3.5 0,5l bottle, 8% ABV. Aroma of malty sweetness and spicy Belgian yeast. Caramel, candy sugar and warming alcohol in taste. Hint of herbal hops. Finishes with spices and booze. Strong beer, a 0,33l bottle would have been enough.
2.9 "Converting" from old excel scoresheet. So there is no comments on this beer.
2.9 500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.0%. 28 EBU. Copper colour, moderate off-white head. Sweetish aroma of malts, caramel, honey and slightly stale jam. Malty and fairly flavour with caramel and brown kandij sugar, hints of honey, some warming spices and plenty of warming alcohol. Low bitterness. Probably not a beer I’ll buy again.
3.3 Bottle, thanks GT2, gold pour, white head, nose is citrus, taste is tart, okay
2.7 [ Bottle ][ 500mL ][ rosenbergh ][ Trade ][ Globe ][ 5.2.15 ] >> Murky, ugly golden pour with weak head. Skunky nose, pear and apple esters. Taste is sugar, bananas foster. Finish is chalky, papery. Hmm
3.4 500ml bottle. Hazy dark amber body with a low white head. Fruit, yeast, banana, alcohol and some spices. A bit too distinct alcohol prescence.
3.6 14.2.2014. Aroma reminds of combination of hefeweiss and trippel, belgian yeast, citrus, caramel sweet banana, sahti-like. Taste is similar which is good. Belgian yeast, fresh lemon hops, caramel sweetness, and finish also hops among sweetness. Alcohol warms.
3.8 30cl draught. Dark brown and rose pour with thin gold head. Aroma is malty, caramel, raisin and vanilla. Taste is full, medium bitter and somewhat sweet. Alcohol is present but not too aggressive. Oily palate, low carbonation. Aftertaste is malty sweet, but not sugary. Quality product, a Finnish take on Belgian trippel.
2.9 Bottle as a gift from Finland. No BB date. Dark murky amber colour with a small big-bubbled head. Retains and somewhat laces but there’s very little of it. The second pour gives a lot more though. Nose is the usual Belgian yeast, white bread dough, overripe peaches and plums, and a tiny bit of laurel- and coriander-like spiciness (pork stew comes to mind), a bit herbal even. It’s not really inviting. Taste follows suit. Mild fruity and caramelly sweetness, a bit of herbal bitterness and spiciness in the finish. Cardboard-like skunky malts. Minerals. Sweet side of the Strong Belgian scale. A lot of body covering the alcohol, although later on it does break through. Carbonation moderate and thin. I can’t consider this a good-tasting beer. Overall it’s very disappointing for a strong “Belgian”. Ceci n’est pas une Belge, jep.
3.6 How: Bottle Appearance: Cloudy copper, low head. Aroma: plums, raisin, nuts, mild citrus Palate: Medium body, soft carbonation.
3.6 Bottle from trade with jookos cons 2014-12-03 Göteborg AR: belgian yeasty, sweet sugar water when poured, something ripe AP: hazy amber, stouthy deminshing ofwhite head F: thick fluid, dried pruns, reasins, dutch waffles, belgian yeasty, wee banana foam in the finish, sugary feeling, fine carboanation, medium low bittereness, nice brew - ABV is well camouflaged!
3.5 0,5 hana@ Viisi Penniä. Samea punainen meripihkan ruskea. Tuoksussa mallasta, punaista marjaa, kirsikkaa, vähän paahteisuutta, omenaa, hapokkuutta.
