3.4 Creamy off white head on a vivid pale amber coloured body. Malt & bitter fruit aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & lighter on the back with a cloying aft. Fruity, herbal, light malt & spiced tastes with a bitter tangy finish. Very tasty.
3.3 Ordinary bitter by this Manchester craft brewery, from tap at Dynamo in Brussels (where these guys apparently passed by for a tap takeover just a few days earlier). Snow white, moussy, stable, medium thick head lacing in shreds over a misty orange-tinged peach blonde beer with golden edges. Aroma of rusk, grass, mugwort, old cheese rind, soggy old peanuts, minerals, fried tomato peel, but also background notes of pond water, rotting potatoes and even manure, all becoming stronger as the beer warms up. Cleanly fruity onset, some apple peel and unripe peach notes, minerally carb, slick and smooth mouthfeel; soggy rusk- and bread crust-like maltiness with peanutty edge and something toasty, merging seamlessly with a grassy, lightly wormwoody hop bitterness. Minerally notes linger under this medium long, quenching bitterness, but as said, retronasally things take a turn for the worst when the beer warms up so something is definitely ‘off’ here – could be the tap lines perhaps? In any case this beer does show the basic structure and flavour profile of a bitter, though lacking in the creaminess, floral hoppiness and general ‘finesse’ that I love so much about a good English bitter – I will not, however, complain about the fact that this was tapped the regular way, as the naturally driven hand pump system still used in old England will probably never make its entrance on the continent, alas (it would long have done so otherwise).
2.9 Pretty avg bitter very avg taste
3.5 From tap at Speciaalbier Café De Markies, Leeuwarden. Aroma is bready grains with some caramel. Moderate to medium bitter flavour, mild sweet. Medium body. Malty and easy, very good beer.
3.7 Can from Cloudwater online store. Clear gold with a thin white head. Nose is smooth and sweet malt. Hay and biscuit. Little zesty. Medium body with refreshing level of carbonation. Light herbal and leaf bitterness that builds. Dry finish. Smooth beer with a great balance resulting in abundant drinkability.
3.4 Gravity cask at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Light brown, almost clear with a loose beige head. Light aroma of wood, orange peel, a touch of turps. Bittersweet taste with earthy bitter hop to the fore, although there's also some overripe citrus and notes of Angostura bitters. Finish is very bitter bordering on medicinal. A clean, decent bitter made very well.
3.7 An almost perfectly clear light copperish amber. Slightly off-white head, decent retention and hints of lacing. Classicly delicate but interesting aroma: light crackery and slightly biscuity malt base, rich hop profile shows flowery and citric notes (in the likes of marmalade), with a light earthy (but clean) foundation on the back of things. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter, with perfect balance in both taste and aftertaste, just as a good bitter should be. Taste notes follow the aroma, none stands out and they nicely complement each other. Light to medium bodied with light to medium carbonation, possibily a bit more carbonated than style standard. Still a pretty classic sessionable mouthfeel overall. A fine, well made bitter.
3.1 Can. Clear dark golden, smooth head. Malt, honey, lemon zest. Medium-light body. Initial malty sweetness gives in to a bitter finish.
3.4 Clear golden color with large off-white head. Aroma has caramel, grass and malt. Taste is malty sweet with long bitter and dry aftertaste. Flavors of caramel, grass and malt.

3.1 Amber body with white lace. Aroma has light hop fruits. Taste is medium sweet to bitter with a biscuit note. Palate is medium bodied oily texture average carbonation and a bitter finish. They can do better.
3.5 Cask conditioned at Beer on the Wye '19, Hereford. Amber with white head. This proved to be a dryish bitter, initially simple but also developing a fruity character with pineapple notes in the background. Easily drinkable, nicely balanced. A good sessionable beer.
3.6 Light amber with a slight haze, white head which lasts quite well. Aroma has some caramel but with floral hops underneath. Beautiful moreish taste, with sweet notes of toffee and caramel but underlying bitterness. A most superior bitter.

3.5 Nice aroma and taste, watery body ant not much persisting aftertaste
3.3 Cask at Marble Arch. Caramel aroma with some grassy and floral notes. Hazy amber color with medium sized creamy white head. Malty caramel profile, floral, biscuity, mostly sweet with nice note of bitterness behind. Thin bodied, silky and almost flat. Superior drinkability. It's really fascinating how something simple like this leaves you craving for more after every sip, +1 for this. One of the best bitters I've had.
3.7 A great can of bitter. Lovely balance of bitterness and freshness. The sort of drink you would love to be served in a pub.
3.6 Nice easy drinking bitter. Lighter in colour which is typical for a Manchester bitter. Restrained taste with a nice bitter finish
3.7 Bottle @ tasting shared by me. Pale yellow color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, hoppy bitter. Good, just good. Nice.
3.3 Blik gedeeld door Benzai. Gelig bleek bier, licht troebel bier met stevig schuim. Aroma is hoppig. Smaak is waterig en hoppig.
3.6 Blik gedeelt door Benzai, geprobeerd met Inoven. Het is een goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een fruitige geur. De smaak is fruitig en wat zurig.
2.8 spina, schiuma bianca pannosa persistente, colore giallo limpido, bocca e al naso malto agrumi (limone), corpo leggero, carbonazione moderata, amaro moderato. 12.05.18 @ Vunò Savona
3.5 Can, courtesy of LazyPyro. Thanks Chris! Medium white head on a golden body. Perfumey hop presence, floral, light spice. Light sweetness, a bit tart and sweaty, medium bitterness, floral and dusty in the finish, grapefruit bitterness in the end, quite dry. Slick light body, but not thin, with soft carbonation. My first proper British Bitter - and a good one at that. Easygoing, but also quite bitter.
3.5 Great light bitter gold good hop presence for the style dry biscuit finish.
3.3 Ar: malt, herbal hops Ap: copper, creamy head T: med sweetness, med bitterness P: refreshing
3.4 Pint on tap at 57 Thomas St, Manchester. Still, golden amber beer with thin white head. Nose is minerally and fruity. Light body, dry and bitter taste leading to woody, herbal finish. Some background malt. Yes it does remind me of the 'real' Boddingtons especially the bone dry finish.
3.3 Keg at the brewery tap. A clear gold n orange coloured pour with a a lasting G sticky white head. Aroma is si sweet bready grains, earth, toffee, grass, earthy honey..
