Color ámbar oscura, no es turbia, espuma alta de larga duración. Olor a frutos negros secos, caramelo. Sabor frutos negros secos (ciruela), caramelo, café, dulce pero también levemente amarga. Carbonatación media, cuerpo medio. Bastante alcohol (me podría tomar 2 o 3)

330ml bottle from local store, drinking it on 6/08/2021 BB 04-2022 Pours a murky deep brown with nice beige foam on top and lots of lacing. Very good aroma of dark malts, brown sugar, caramel, dried fruits, chocolate, plums, a bit yeasty really noticeable as soon as you approach the glass. Taste is really pleasant with a great balance of sweet and bitter, rich and complex enough, warm with hints of roasted malts, caramel, dried fruits, chocolate, licorice and plums. Again short and balanced, bit boozy finish. Medium to full body and oily texture, average carbonation. A bit dry and strong at 8% abv, well hidden in taste but you can feel it on your tongue later. Sipped and savoured slowly, really good dubbel, tasty and complex, but quite easy to drink.

Bière bue lors d'un WE à Perpignan. Robe brune, beaucoup de fines bulles créant une fine mousse brune en surface. Belle carbonatation en bouche, un peu trop caramélisée en bouche et un peu trop axé sur le stout mais ça reste une bonne bière.
Bière 33 cl bue à raconte pas d'salades à Perpignan. Robe brune aux reflets acajou, mousse crémeuse, peu persistante. Nez typé sur du caramel, légères notes chocolatées. Bouche à l’attaque acidulée, note maltée bien brûlée façon stout, mais arrondie par le côté liquoreu, et caramélisé plus caractéristique des bières belges, un peu en excès peut-être. Sympa. (M)

3.4.2021: 330 ml bottle at home, 8% ABV, bb. 3.2021, bought at La Mise En Biere, Lausanne. Pours copper with an off-white head. The aroma is medium malty and lightly yeasty with sweet malt, honey, brown sugar, toffee, bread, light toasted notes, some dark fruits, prunes and faint fruity yeast notes. Medium to medium-full body with an average carbonation, a medium sweetness and a light bitterness. The flavor starts with sweet malt, brown sugar, honey, raisins, dark fruits and bread followed by a light earthy hop presence towards the finish. Finishes with a light to medium hop bitterness.

Tomada en 2 ocasiones de botella. De color marrón oscuro con tintes granate y rojizo. Espuma densa de color crema, buena retención. Carbonatación media-alta.
La primera vez fue una botella "fresca", de unos 4 o 5 meses desde su producción. Aromas a vino tinto, frutos rojos y levadura. En boca comienza dulce, con notas a caramelo y malta tostada, pero con un final demasiado alcohólico que destaca por encima del resto, muy desequilibrada.
La segunda vez fue reservada por más tiempo (casi 3 años). Aromas similares (vino tinto, pasas y levadura). En boca es donde se aprecia una importante diferencia. Ha perdido esa predominancia del alcohol que opaca todo lo demás. Sabores dulces (pasas y caramelo) y a su vez recuerdos al vino tinto y uvas. Final más seco y licoroso. Mucho mejor esta vez, aunque pierde algo de carbonatación y cuerpo gana en matices y se vuelve más equilibrada.
Conclusión: una gran cerveza para envejecer durante unos años.

Pours a murky mahogany colour with a medium sized thick creamy beige head. Aromas of dry dark fruit and caramel. Taste has more dark fruits, caramel, roasted malts, brown bread, burnt sugar and a hint of chocolate. Medium body, fair carbonation, fizzy palate and a long dark fruit and slightly roasty finish. Lovely balance. Not too sweet. Excellent Dubbel.
Pours dark brow and clear. Small head which dissapates. Aromas of stone fruit and wheat. Dark malt bitterness. A little astringent. Malty, coffee, dry aftertaste.
330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Shared with Finn. A stable one-finger thick head, rings of lace down the glass, near-clear ruby-black body. Moderately roasted smell, scent of dried fruits. Mixed taste profile of raisin and caramel malts. Smooth malty sweet ending, lightly roasted. Fine depth. Likable. (Session at Bergstua, Malangen 29.10.2020).

Ótima dubel, equilibra e complexa. No aroma: malte torrado, banana e frutas não cítricas, no sabor caramelo, ameixas e frutas passas. Espuma persistente e um final em seco apesar de ser bem maltada. Ótimo custo benefício, um espetáculo de cerveja.

0.33 bottle.We tell a lot of beers that it's amber, that's what it really is. The foam is also very nice. Caramel, dried fruity, moderately intense aroma, also very good. It opens with a sour sip, with a burnt sugar finish, and has a bitter, hop-like aftertaste. As it warms up, it gets finer. Alcohol feels like a full-bodied and delicious beer anyway. I will have to taste it again!

Nagyon sok sörre rámondjuk, hogy borostyán színű, na ez valóban az. Nagyon szép a hab is. Karamelles, aszalt gyümölcsös, közepesen intenzív illat, szintén nagyon jó. Savanyú korttyal nyit, égetett cukros lecsengéssel, keserű,komlós mellékíz is van. Ahogy melegszik, egyre finomabb. Allohol érződik, amúgy testes és finom sör.

Het een donkerbruin tot amberkleurig bier met een medium witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige wat caramelachtige geur. De smaak is moutig, caramel achtig en nootachtig.

Color rojizo oscuro, casi opaco con espuma blanca y esponjosa de excelente retemció de un dedo. Aroma afrutado y tostado. Cuerpo medio y carbonatación baja. Sabor dulce entre malta tostada y fruta que recuerda al vino rojo, sin perder el toque azucarado de las belgas. Nada demasiado complejo, pero bien equilibrado, siendo quizás su cuerpo a lo que se le exigiría más.
Great reasonably sweet malty taste, medium carbonated, great dubbel. Left me a wee bit boozy, but still.
