3.6Can, bought@Kvickly, Middelfart. Pours clear golden with a large, staying creamy white head. Aroma has quite a big, resiny hops profile, bergamot, grapefruit, quite clean. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, caramel, crisp malts, firm bitterness, citrus, resin, pine. Lingering bitterness. Nice.
2.912 oz can. Canned on 01/10/16. Thanks Timo A!
Slightly cloudy orange golden color with a small off-white head.
Darkish hops, tea, mild bitterness and dry malt in the aroma.
Dry darkish tea hops, mild bitterness and dry malt in the flavor.
Leafy and old.
3.5Can. Clear amber, airy white head. Aroma has passionfruit, light pine and caramel. Sweetish flavour, smoothly caramely with nice piney bitter bite.
3.9Can from Brewfest Bev. Gold clear with lasting head and lace. Mild nutty pine and citrus grainy aroma. Mild nutty toasted malt sweetness with subdued peachy apricot fruitiness. Complex woody leafy earthy bitterness that really compliments the nutty toasted malts. Medium light body and fine carbo. Very good pale ale.
3.4Sample from a can. Hazy amber colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops, fruit, citrus, peach, grapefruit and a bitter finish.
3.1Pours a clear classic golden with a short white head. Hoppy, fruity, perfumy nose. Soft mouthfeel that gets astringent toward the finish. Fruity pebbles, grassy flavors.
Earlier Rating: 8/24/2016 Total Score: 3.1
Pours a crystal clear deep golden with a sticky white head. Sweet, hoppy nose with steeped grain coming through recognizably. Cottony mouthfeel. Alcohol heat. Grassy hop with competing bitterness and sweetness from the grain.
3.3Can from Brewers Haven. Big foamy outburst, very active. Pours a medium. Hold with abundant billowing head. Mild citrus nose on top of otherwise sweet malts aroma. Taste also favors the malts, grassy, not hoppy except for a tinge at the finish, almost minty. Decent weight and feel.
3.5Can@Ølbutikken, Copenhagen (29/07/2016) - fuzzy golden amber coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is a mix of tropical and citrus fruits, medium pale malts, some light caramel, grapefruit, peachy, pine needles, refreshing, hoppy bitter finish.
3.8Shared bottle. Poured hazy straw with off-white head. Nose was piney hops, caramel malt, mild peppery notes. Assertive hoppy and piney flavor, spare malt, some black pepper notes.
3.8Can from Ales by Mail, drunk at home. Dark gold/amber, tiny little bit of white head and quite a bit of carbonation. Papaya, spruce and resin in the slightly muted bit still enjoyable aroma. Initial sweet taste, heavy on the małt with more sticky resinous notes. Finish is really short, and palate is thin bordering on watery. But all in all it’s an excellent little pale ale.
2.8Pours a been color with a sweet malt aroma. Taste is smooth, malty, with a nice crispness. Flavor is well balanced and easy drinking. A nice beer for the style.
4.2280516. Can at home. Pours hazy copper with a nice head. Aroma Rogue like hops, pine. God I’ve missed this taste. Just awesome. I could drink this all day long. Not Bad.
3.41 pt 6 fl oz bottle bought at a Safeway in Mille Valley, CA. Clear dark golden in the glass with an one finger head. British style hopy on the nose. Taste starts hopy, mid bitterness, some malt in the background. Resin sequence in the middle part with some increasing citrus elements. Really fresh! Enjoyed it!
3.4Can from AbM enjoyed at "Gunnarsbu" Canned 17.07.15. Pours hazy deep golden with a big creamy white head. Resiny and herbal hop aroma. Taste is light crisp resiny hops, some mango and bready sweetness before it finishes off with a minty kiss at the finish. Good, but probably better fresh.
3.2Keg at the brewpub, 29/01/16.
Golden orange with a decent off White head.
Nose is toasted malt, straw, orange pith, light hops.
Taste comprises tangerines, straw, lemon drizzle, bread dough.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with some hop bitterness offered.
Ok APA ... easy drinker but lacks any discernable hop presence to make me want to revisit.
3.7This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a thin one finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Bubbly to foamy white lacing glosses nicely around the glass in a messy sort of way.
The smell started off with subtle sweet to bitter citrus pulp and rind over top of a nice caramel backbone.
The taste balanced nicely between the sweetness of the malt to the sweetness to the hops and then the bitterness of the citrus fits in for a nice overall balance. Semi-dry citrus to malt aftertaste. Dry sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Semi-dry citrus/piney - bitterness hitting my tongue - not too harsh.
Overall, I wanna say a heavier version of Zombie Dust, slightly...definitely not as smooth as ZD, but I would have this again.
3.0Can (AbM, canned 17.07.2015)
Slightly hazy amber color, small white head. Fruity orange jam, mango aroma. Light-bodied. Pale malty, tropical fruity flavor (mango, pineapple and citrus). Easy pale ale, goes with food. Some bready notes as it is not very fresh can.
3.3355 ml can. Canned 17.07.2015.
Pours clear golden color with a large white head. Juicy fruits and resin on the nose, mellow hops and pine. Resinous hops on the flavor, sweet orange and mango notes, slight malty bitterness. This was surprisingly old sadly, no cardboard notes or anything like that, just lost the hop edge it probably had. Quite juicy now.

3.0Draft: Poured a orange with white head. Aroma and taste was tree/piney hops, and light malt finish.
3.21oz Can (canned 17.7.15), pours a soft honey hue with a small white head. Aroma is subdued but probably due to its age, some piney grapefruit and yeast esters. More grapefruit in the flavour with a prominent caramel/toffee malt.
3.2Can Amber pour rather dark for a pale full dense off white head. Slight toast malt aroma and flavors. Lots of piney resinous hop flavors. Robust and big for the style.
3.0On tap @ brewpub during RateBeer weekend, January 2016. Slightly hazy, golden-orange appearance with a white head. Sweet toasted malt, orange citrus, rye, and a bit of spiciness in the nose. Twangy, pine, spicy, caramel flavor. Moderate high bitterness and moderate low sweetness. Bleh.
2.9On tap @ Marin. Golden orange colored beer with a soapy white head. Strong popcorn and cracker malt profile to it, which immediately puts me off. There’s a good bit of floral hop character, some grass, and moderate citrus. Some pine aroma and flavor, along with the associated bitterness. Kind of a sweet, grainy finish, though.
2.6Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Hazy orange, off-white. Nose is herbal, moldy & milky base. Taste is weird milky, herbal, plaster dough, milky, herbal. Milky & plaster. Bad keg maybe? Not good.
3.2Draft at Marin Brewing Company. Pours clear, deep gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has some floral hops, crackery pale malts, pine, citrus. Light sweet flavour with lightly toasted pale malts, flowers, pine needles, faint caramel. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. A little piney on the finish, with further floral hops, light perfume, pale bread. So so.
3.6Can from The Bottle Shop London and drunk at home. Hazy amber colour lasting white head. Pine resin grapefruit aroma, some toffee flavour, pretty decent APA I thought.
3.2[1/29/16] Draught at Marin Brewing in Larkspur. Clear copper. Aroma of citric and piney hops and some malt. Flavor has sweetish malt, and bitter citric and piney hops. Medium-bodied.
3.812oz can from Good Spirits Co. Wine & Beer. Orange brown, good head. Pine hop aroma. Resin hop apricot flavour. Bitter sweet hoppy aftertaste. A bit sweeter than I would like but still decent.
3.4Amber with medium off-white head. Fruity/citrus sweet-sourness immediately followed by medium bitterness. Some bitter aftertaste with sweetsour notes.
3.2Sample on tap at the brewpub. Clear amber pour with thin white head. Aroma is very subtle, light caramel, light grass. Taste is grassy, light caramel sweetness. Palate is med bodied, light carbonation. Very tame pale ale, a bit dull, but not bad.
