Textura acuosa, cuerpo medio-ligero y carbonatación baja.
2.9 2012 Bottle from Legacy Liq, $6 CAD, cellared for 7 years. Attack: crisp tingly Mids: soft slick, lvl4-sweetness, milk chocolate, slight saltiness, roasted barley malt Finish: residual sweet roast exhale. Overall: basic flavour, oysters don't really come to the party. Still very drinkable nevertheless.
2.1 0.5l can. Pours black with creamy tan head. Looks good. Metallic aroma with some roast and chocolate. Taste is sweet, metallic, poor quality hops, roast and chocolate. Mouthfeel and carbonation is fine. Smells and tastes mass produced. Not a good stout.
3.6 Pours pitch black with a dark brown head. Soy sauce on the nose. Dark fruits and silky smoothness on the palate.
3.0 Dark color, middle foam size. Good beer, aroma and taste fit into the style.
2.3 on tap at beer sommelier in kiev, 85uah/0.33l. pours rather black with a dense brownish head. mild aroma of chocolate, leaves, and wet rags. flavour of leaves and slight chocolate. thin, not too sweet. I'm not convinced, sorry. might be a bad keg though.
3.7 Was called portland stout...light and creamy...very nice
2.8 Can. Black with beige head. Mild aroma, some chocolate, some roasted malt. A little sweetness with mild bitterness. Overall very mellow.
2.7 0.5l bottle. Dark ruby colour with medium sized light brown head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate. Medium sweet, low bitterness, no sourness. Medium body, thick feel, long lasting sweet and burned aftertaste.
2.9 Bottle 500ml at home. As Pearl Jet Stout. BBE 2018-10-29. From K-citymarket Pirkkala. A blsck beer with beige head. Dark malts, cyrup, sugar, faint chocolate. Medium to thin body, average carbonation.
2.7 Can, 50 cl, bought at Super Brugsen, Maribo. Coffee features; overall smooth, but rather thin.
3.2 Drinked as Pearl Jet Stout. Dark brown, clear, unstable head. Bready nose with light spicy notes. Dry with light malty sweetness, light tartness and low to none spicy bitterness. Good.
4.4 Aroma: Strong chocolate and coffee features. Appearance: Black color with hazy liquid and frothy beige head. Taste: Light sweetness with light sour notes. Palate: Medium body with creamy texture and average carbonation. Long bitter/sweet chocolate finish. Overall: Pearl Jet Stout. Soft stout with smooth features. Easy to drink, it pairs with desserts or with soft warm meals.
2.3 On can. Pours black with chocolate foam. Scent: Chocolate malts. Taste: Chocolate, small coffee, little water. Texture: Soft, Small carbonation.
2.5 Dark beige head, black body, stinks of fusel alcohol in mix with a bad espresso that your grandfather thought was really good in 1985. Before the communists fell apart, before people became feirce about that stuff. Fruity barley and soft grape syrup even, you know - the usual. The flavour is a light but very artificial dark brew and lots of sugar to boot, not cloying but definitely sugar laced to be sure. Just okay, adequate, but I wouldn't bet my left lipstick on it. Get something out of the train station vending machines instead.
2.9 500ml bottle [as "Pearl Jet Stout"]. Darkest brown colour with small to average, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Weak, roasty dark malty aroma with a nuttily touch, hints of dark chocolate. Taste is dry, roasty dark malty, minimally metallic, diluted hints of dark chocolate and red currant.
3.0 Keg at 53 Degrees North, Buxton. As Marstons Pearl Jet, 4.1% ABV. A deep brown colour with a medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, some wood, slight liquorice, a hint of chocolate and subtle smoke. Taste of chocolate, some bready malts, slight roasted malts, a little wood, liquorice and subtle smoke. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, woody chocolate bitterness in the finish. An easy drinking stout, just lacks the body and any real flavour.
3.3 Bottle from supermarket in Slovenija. Black color, small white. Roasted malts, some coffee, and one style, I can feel some iode aftertaste. Ok
4.0 👍👍👍👍
3.1 Aroma of chocolate, a crusted bread, steamed grain. Dark, non-exotional with a small foam. In taste burnt barley, fried crust of black bread. Light carbonization, medium carbonization, slightly watery. Dry finish.
2.9 OK beer - had on tap not bottle so probably better that way. Pitch black appearance, small tanned head. Smokey aroma typical with a stout. Smooth on the palate, minimal carbonation, OK aftertaste. At £2 odd a pint I'm not complaining. Always finish with a half at my local on the way home. It is what it is, not special but I've certainly had worse. Not sure on the bottle conditioned version as I've not had it.
1.6 "Dark - Rich - Smooth"? More like bland, watery and disappointing. Very little taste of any sort at all. Considering that this cost more than 2,50 EUR where I live, this was a major disappointment.
