2.6 Wali szampanskoje igristoje, lekki karmel i palonosc.
3.6 Smooth, malty, and light on the palate. Nice and easy to drink ale
3.2 500ml bottle Colour is a dark brown ale. Aroma is of toffee, caramel, sweet fruits, woody, earthy and slightly nutty. Taste is caramelly, malty, earthy, nutty, raisins and woody. Soft and carbonated mouthfeel. Quite bitter, bitterness is the equivalent of dark chocolate. Overall this is quite a refreshing beer, got quite a good flavour and is very easily drinkable.
3.4 As mass produced amber ales go this one is pretty decent. Slight banana esters in the aroma. Slight bitterness with malty backbone. From memory I think this is better than the filtered version.
3.3 # 2862; 4/2022. Aroma of sweet cherry, stone fruit, jam. Brilliant amber body; off-white head. Woody, sweet cherry, hazelnut, good drinkability. Very good beer. 0,5 l, bottle, supermarket, Lincoln (Lincolnshire, England).
2.5 Deep amber colour with a white head that didn’t stick about. Caramel malt aroma. Taste is sweetness and then seems to disappear without a finish. Feels watery.
2.6 Amber/red colour. Malty sweet aroma, biscuit caramel. Taste is malty, a little sweet but not too much, biscuit. Watery finish, slight bitterness.
3.4 Still a classic, for all it's Carlsberg now. Bottle pours with almost no head and a sweetish caramel malty nose, with just a hint of sulphur. Then it's full-bodied and malty, the sweetness balanced by a drying earthy-bitterness, with a toasty nuttiness and a little more of that sulphurous 'snatch'. I know I've had it better-looking and fresher on cask, but this still tastes pretty excellent.
2.9 500ml bottle. Pours clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is biscuity malt, caramel, faint floral hop. Taste is light sweet, caramel, malt, watery. Light bitter finish. Light bodied.
4.0 Definitely has a woody flavour! I've always been rather partial to Pedigree, it's a solid tasting session ale, first time I tried it was in a bottle, but it's better on cask. I think it's subtle wood undertones are underrated and highly satisfying on the pallette. An underrated amber session ale.
2.5 A bang average Amber. Doesn't do anything special, very light biscuity malt, rather watery.
2.9 500 ml bottle. Unclear amber, big fluffy head. Some caramel, nuts, citrus, metallic notes, marzipan. Dry metallic bitter, some malty sweetness. Medium to light bodied, oily watery texture, fizzy carbonated, dry bitter malty finish.
3.2 Cask at Good Intent, Puttenham. Sweet malty caramel aroma. Golden ber. Thin creamy bubbly translucent white head. Light bitter. Malty sugary sweet streak. Light bodied l. Thin. Soft carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Serviceable.
2.8 Schaumentwicklung mau.
3.1 Nice bottle design. Golden copper opaque, decent head. Woody, biscuity, malty nose. Mildly nutty and malty, and same in after taste. Slightly creamy mouthfeel and medium soft carb. Little taste evolution. Sweet with a slightly bitter afters that calls for another sip. Some oiliness in aftertaste however. Refreshing. Low medium carbonation. A nice bitter - is that the same as an amber ale? Hmmmm.
3.1 Bottle from my local grocery store ‘Loco’. Pours a hazy copper colour with a medium sized creamy white head. Aromas of toffee, caramel, biscuits and bread. Taste has more of the same notes and is also quite fruity with a bittersweet finish. Some metallic notes also. Not very good if I’m honest.
3.6 Smooth mild beginning. Fruity with a round and mild beginning. Grainy dry, a bit dusty with roasted back. Very dry, grainy in the back. Hazelnuts, roasted grain. Nice.
2.9 Old rating - 500ml bottle, pours amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of flora, wood, nuts & malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish
3.1 18.06.2021 - 0.5l bottle from lidl in grenzach. pours a clear amber with a small head. aroma of wood, slight spruce and toasted malts. flavour of nutty malts, wood and a hint of spruce, minerals, zhiguli beer. not sweet.
3.1 A balanced blend of hops, malt and bitterness, simple but flavoursome. Slight sweetness present. Great QPR at only a quid a bottle at Ken Morrisons...
3.6 Clear copper colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have slightly toasted, nutty malts and a solid dry, floral hop profile. Nice thing about this is that it's bottle conditioned and brings back the taste of the pints I had in Derby some 20 years ago.
2.5 Pours an amber color.Aoroma is malty. Almost a mild in character but with just a light twiggy, leafy hop hint.
3.1 Bottle conditioned. 500ml bottle served in a barrel pint glass. Slightly hazy Amber ale, with a off white head. Malty aroma, with a slight hint of sulphur. Hoppy, roasted malty flavour, with a pleasent bitter after taste. For £1 a bottle in Morrison's, a good session beer for drinking at home.
3.9 At home
