2.0 W aromacie ostre, alkoholowe. Barwa ciemne złoto. W smaku pusto z posmakiem melanoidynowym. Słabo
2.0 Bottle 50cl shared by Calisky, a clear copper beer with low head. Nose is on sweet toasted malt, aroma is very disappointing, very watery, diacetyl touch, buttery, no hops, very poor and boring.
2.6 Can. Clear amber-red body, off white head. Quite perfumey aroma. Randomberry jam, caramel malt. Alcohol?! Lifeless body, some background fullness/sweetness, but dead dry at the palate, light malty, vaguely fruity taste. Maybe 5 IBUs of "bitterness", vaguely herbal, near the finish and in the aftertaste. Little to no appeal in it as a whole. Some of the fruity/malty notes come off as nice, but are drowned in unappealing dryness. Sub par but can't hate it wholly.
2.8 Bottle at home. Pours copper with a finger of-white head. I only took numerical notes while having this one.
3.0 Fles 50cl thuis. Duidelijk malten, licht kruidig, zoeten, hop (Goldings & Fuggles). (1-2017).
2.9 Bottle from supermarket. Amber color, white head. Toasted malts, apple, grass.
2.5 On tap at Victoria Station Wetherspoons, London. Pours a amber copper gold with a thin head. Aroma: biscuity malt, caramel, very mild toffee, dried fruit notes. Taste: biscuity malt, caramel, mild toffee and toasted grain flavours. Mild flavour balance. Medium bodied. A little bit dull.
1.9 Bottle, 500 ml, from supermarket in Zagreb. Pours amber with small white head. Caramel, malty, sweetish, some light bitterness in finish. Thin. Watery. Light bodied.
3.0 Pre RateBeer review from notes in my 1001 Beers book. Rating given at the time of 3/5.
2.9 Cask. Clear amber colour, white creamy foam. Sweet caramel, light bitter. Boring bitter.
2.4 From bottle. Transfer of an earlier rating without text recorded, rating only.
Aromat i smak nikły karmelowy. Goryczka niska. Ogólnie słaby bitter bez wyrazu.
3.0 Pale brown, virtually no head. Nose is of caramel and hops. Taste is similar with some brown sugar, burnt bread and malt added to the mix. Quite a thin palate as well. This isn't Pedigree in taste, it's pedigree in name only. Tried as part of a multipack.
2.6 Aroma of caramel and malts. Taste is rather malty. Lots of caramel notes, light to medium bitterness. Mediocre.
2.7 Aroma of caramel, cereal and some butter. Amber colour , sparkling, clear. Medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, average carbonation,
3.2 Pours light orange with no head. Balanced with medium bitterness, primarily in the finish. Caramel, orange and other citrus fruit tones. Not strong but very drinkable and quite tasty
2.5 Pretty pedestrian for such a classic ale. Oak barrels definitely come through, no other defined flavours. not terrible but not that good
2.9 Botella 0,5l Color Ambar con espuma blanca, bajita, fina, poca duracion.Aroma-malta,frutas, caramelo. Algo acuosa
3.0 Bottle from... not sure actually. Amber and clear with a tiny bit of head. Tiny bit of aroma as well, but there’s a bit of flowery hop that’s quite agreeable. Sharp bitterness without being over the top. A very, very basic bitter but it’s actually quite drinkable.
2.0 Matured on Oak barrels.
2.5 Fles 500cc, Pale Ale matured in Oak Barrels. Valt erg tegen.
2.9 Birra dal colore ramato. Schiuma bianca, cremosa e persistente. All?olfatto malto, caramello, agrumi canditi e mela.
2.9 An English pale ale that really doesn’t have much going on. It’s nice and smooth with a great mouthfeel, but the flavours were so muted that you could hardly detect them. Some malt, some bittering hops and that was about it. More flavours came through when I drank the second bottle with a home made beef stir fry, but this was really insipid.
2.4 2017 - 02 - 07 500ml bottle. darkorange golden colour. small white head. light leathery aroma. light bitter taste
2.9 Bottle. Lightly fruity, very clean. Easy to drink but uninspiring. All just seems a bit so-so.
2.6 Bottle. Nose is too sweet caramel, hint of floral hop, light chocolate and marshmallow. Taste is corn, caramel, lightly medicinal herbal hop, mineral, light butterscotch. Inoffensive.
2.8 Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer.
3.2 Matured in oak barrels it says on the bottle. It pours amber oak brown so probably is.
3.0 Can - Pours bright pale brown with a frothy beige head that fades to a thin ring. Aroma of caramel, hints if chocolate and a little corn. Taste is light grass, lemon and barley. Light smooth bitterness to finish. Medium body, soft to low carbonation. Oily mouthfeel.
