3.0From hipercor, last unit. In Duvel glass. Waiting children sleep time whilr watching pride & prejudice (bbc) and browsing hiposurinatum. Very balanced, although it doesnt stand out for anything.
12 Oct 2016: From Hipercor last units. In Ikea’s pint glass. Watching Comando Actualidad: El Imperio de la Cerveza. Its more sweet than I remembered and the alcohol more noticeable. The feeling is still pleasant though
1.9One of my favourite! Strong and tasty :) ........ ...... ............................................
2.7Otra cerveza de calidad de Marston’s. En este caso la strong pale ale, de 6,2 grados mejor disimulados que en otras. Color ámbar. Espuma duradera. Bastante carbónica.
Aroma a malta. Sabor acaramelado entre un amargor constante que se incrementa al final con un postgusto duradero.
2.5Clear amber color with medium white head. Aroma is malty, bready, with toffee and candy. Taste follows the aroma, again, caramel, candy, sweet malts and a bit of grassy hops, with a boozy aftertaste. Pretty flat.
3.9Full rich taste with shade of smock in the end. Clear color, not sparking. Dont feel the alcohole inside.
3.6(Bottle 0,5l from Ogar (Brno))
Aroma: Sweet, candy, toffee, dark fruits.
Appearance: Hazy, dark golden color. Minimal, white head.
Taste: Medium sweet, light bitter, candy, caramel.
Palate: Medium body. Sticky texture. Astringent, bitter finish.
Overall: Nice, sweet ale.
2.8Bottle. Dark amber color with white head. Aroma - Caramel, malts. Taste - Dry, orange, alcohol.
2.8Hazy reddish amber colour with caramel hue. Off-white, weak head not persistent. Aroma is fairly malty with honey notes and some alcohol presence. Taste is slightly sweet, without bitterness; alcoholic strength.
Medium body, slightly syrupy, soft carbonation. Nice and tasty.
2.2Bronze in colour like a dark lager. Minimal head on pouring. Smooth in texture but the palate is lacking definition. Could do with a stronger hop flavour to live up to the name.
2.4A little bit bonbons aroma anf taste. Palate is like in a sweetshop. OK Some points are here to evaluate,B@H
3.1Pours orange with average sized, long lasting head. Aroma of caramel. Ligh body, average carbonation, metallic, fresh finish. Sweet taste, good balanced, fresh and easy to drink.
2.2Slaby aromat bez goryczki.Za to pijalne jak na %.______________________________
2.9Botella de 500ml. Vaso de Pinta. Color cobre brillante y apariencia cristalina.
500ml bottle. Pint glass. Bright copper color, clear appearance. Off-white foam, creamy & slowly dissipated crown. Grass & slight sulfur aromas, hints of diacetyl & solvent-like notes. Malty, grainy & light resinous flavors rounded by increasing bitter & subtle spicy sensations. Medium body. Moderate but sparkling mouthfeel. Dense. Dried hoppiness & slight sweet maltiness resolves in a dry bitter finish. Green apple harshness & metallic hues on the aftertaste.
3.3Copper with a fast settling head, honey, caramel and a little citrus hop on the nose, warming and mid to full bodied with a peppery hop edge, and touches of marmalade and honey. Dry-bitter finish with a little caramel persisting.
3.7This was a pretty seductive strong ale and yes (as it said on the label), was smooth and remarkably easy drinking.
The aroma was sweet and estery with detectable malt and hop. The flavour was similar, again with a combination of the esters dominating - isoamyl acetate, ethyl hexanoate, ethyl butyrate.
Although initially quite sweet, it is quickly followed up with a nice bitterness. There was a very slight metallic note on the after-palate.
2.7Pours just lighter than copper. Thin head dissipates quickly. Aroma is malt, citrus zest and old sock. Tastes of English malt, some caramel and a bit of bitter orange. The body is light for the abv. Finishes sweet and very clean. Nothing wrong but nothing remarkable about it either.
2.7Bottle - pours copper with a light brown head which barely has chance to form and lasts seconds before disappearing to nothing. Aroma of cereal, banana, toast and a bit of corn. Taste of caramel, roasted malt, cereal, sweet malts, some artificial orange flavour and a medium bitter finish.Slight spiciness, a bit of smoke, some light hop flavours and very sweet. Some alcohol starts to permeate towards the end too. Medium body, medium to strong carbonation, a bit sticky. I usually trust Marston’s to be pretty good, shame about this.
2.4A mid amber orange coloured beer with a very weak head. A light, dusty malt aroma and some raisiny fruit in the background. Dry mouthfeel. The taste starts off with a smooth, slightly sweet malt flavour, along with a raisiny fruit flavour again. This is followed by a tangy, pithy fruit flavour, that initially is quite harsh, but soon mellows, leaving a vinous, piney flavour that lasts into the finish.
3.3cloudy golden colour, one inch dense white head; aroma of hay, grass and some biscuit; taste of grassy hops, caramel, biscuit, some fruitiness, and significant bitter aftertaste; drinkable English ale
2.1500ml bottle from B&M. To be honest This just tastes sweet and bland. Not Marstons best, but this might be one of their worst.
3.4Každému chutná něco jiného a každý by si měl utvořit názor sám. Nebudu psát neznáme pojmy. Jděte a ochutnejte.
3.2Botella de 50 cl, adquirida en El Corte Ingles. Color dorado. Sabor a malta, ligeramente amargo, con regusto a caramelo.
3.0I expected a bit more but this one is just alright. Not that strong and quite pissy but with some malty and caramel moments. Hops ? Maybe.
2.9Pours out of the bottle in a clear deep amber colour with low head and smooth body. Aroma of straw and caramel. Taste of caramel, flowers, straw, hops, grains and barley. Malty finish. Easy and nice to drink yet nothing special.
3.1Drunk from 500 cl bottle. Deceptively strong for its taste.
3.8Pale golden colour, clear, head was lively but quickly vanished, hint of malt and caramel in the aroma. Considering this is a high. Vol beer the taste is light and pleasant with a slight bitter taste. A nice beer picked a few up from B&M.
3.3Appearance: Clear amber with finger thick white head.
Aroma: Raisin ,biscuit/bread, grassy/hay and floral.
Taste: Medium bitterness, low/medium sweet and sourness.
Palate: Thick grainy texture, light/medium body, average carbonation, lingering astringent bitter malty finish after an initial fruity sweetness.
Comments: Tasty and glass lace.
2.9Bottle from morrisons. Amber beer with residual head. Aroma of malts and some caramel. Taste is caramel, malts, a little sweet and dry bitter finish. Ok beer.
3.1A stong malty aroama. Small dissapating head amber colour. A smooth tasting beer very drinkable despite the high alchol level, very palatable. With a stong malty taste
