Martin’s IPA onstond uit de pure passie van brouwers die vanuit de beste brouwerstraditie blijven streven naar kwaliteit. Met zijn droge en bijzondere hopsmaak en zijn hergisting op fles, positioneert Martin’s IPA zich duidelijk tussen de beste Belgische bieren in zijn categorie. De zeer aparte stijl is toe te schrijven aan het brouwgeheim: de hopbloemen die aan het einde van de gisting worden toegevoegd. De Martin’s IPA hergist nog verder op fles en is jaren houdbaar. Het is het eindresultaat van de vakkennis van drie generaties Martin.

Tastes like an Amber Ale but not like an IPA should taste like. Very sweet and musty, light on the hops and a very slight bitterness. The sweetness and the overall aroma taste kind of artificial. 2/10 would buy again
The bottle pours a golden color with a orange hue and a big offwhite head. The nose is ok, hoppy and a bit floral. Taste is absolutely not my thing, it has a sourness that doesn’t need to be there. I love sour beers but this is just horrible! This beer was very hard to finish! I do not recommend this beer at all...
Espuma blanca y abundante, color anaranjado bastante transparente y con mucha burbuja brotando constantemente, aromas dulces en nariz, sabor con ligeros amargos pero sin ser muy notorio y regusto agradable y pronunciado.

An amber to brown beer with a tan head. Aroma is far away from hoppy, despite its being an IPA: you get cookies, bread, brioche, caramel... In the mouth it's dry, yes, but not bone dry. Medium-bodied. Long-lasting, bitter finish. So-so.

25.05.19. A bottle at Biere sur Mer, St. Idesbad, on the Belgian coast. Aroma: flowery, port wine, very inviting. Appearance: semi-opaque golden amber, head settling to 5 mm. Palate: medium-bodied and oily, average carbonation; predominantly bitter, rather abrupt finish. Taste: medium bitter and sweet, not particularly well-balanced. Caramel, candy floss - can this really be an IPA? Disappointing.

Ipa muy buena. Un toque a tostado y un poco fuerte
Botella. Clear golden like, medium white head. Sweet like aroma with fruity hops, caramel and malt. OK palate. Flavour: Sweet, fruity hoppy, caramel, toasty malt, medium bitterness. Fair.
Butelka 0.33. Kolor jasny bursztyn, mętny. Dużo piany, która się długo utrzymuje i ładnie oblepia szkło. Aromaty cytrusów chmielu, karmelu. Smak bardzo wyrazisty. Gorzki, lekko słodki. Goryczka długo pozostaje w przełyku.
Ipa interesante, de aromas afrutados, buen cuerpo y espuma. No es una mala opción dentro de las muchas ipas
Looks and smells like an IPA, but not a lot of hops to taste. Quite plain, and very sweet. Slightest hint of pine if you really squint.
IPA ? Ik denk toch aan iets anders dan. Beetje teleurgesteld want de originele MPA kan me wel bekoren.
Eén IPA met veel smaken van hop. Het bier is bitter en heeft iets bloemig.Het bier is bij vlagen iets te bitter. -backlog de BierApp-
Bière 75 cl achetée aux Halles de Wazemmes à Lille. Jolie bouteille un peu classe qui donne envie de découvrir cette bière qui au passage est à un prix assez élevé. On s'attend donc à du lourd.
Au versage, bière blonde dorée, mousse blanche, nombreuses bulles fines.
Au nez, pas grand chose à signaler, plutôt fade.
En bouche, carbonatation moyenne. Goût aussi fade de que l'odeur. Arrière goût de champignon et légère touche métallique. Caramel basique (sucre). Je ne retrouve aucun des arômes caractéristiques d'une IPA, ni l'amertume que j’aime habituellement. C'est plutôt une blonde fadasse qu'une IPA en réalité. Ça passe, mais elle ne justifie pas son prix. Je la noterais (un peu) mieux si elle n’était pas surévaluée en prix et "marketée" en tant qu'IPA, ce qui frôle la pub mensongère.
Robe or sombre, limpide, très belle mousse bien tenace, belle carbo. Nez équilibré, légèrement patissier et bien expressif sur les houblons. Bouche très sympa, attaque maltée et sucrée, pâtissière, assez légère, suivie des arômes du houblon plus que de son amertume, qui se déploie toutefois au fond de la bouche. Très bel équilibre, une amertume qui ressort peu à peu. Une bière au goût de houblon plus qu'une vraie IPA, mais le résultat est très réussi, une très bonne dégustation!
Grosse mousse, blonde foncée. Odeur légèrement florale. Très gazeuse en bouche, goût un peu fruité avec un arrière-goût de mangue.
Bottle. Golden color. Citric aroma with vinegar, hints of banana and floral notes. Malty sweet flavor with soft herbal notes, vennel and citrus. The hops are certainly not dominant. Not too bad.
Gezapft im Beers Bank in Brüssel. Klar, kupferfarbend, wenig Schaum. Aroma: Malz, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack: Würzig, viel zu süß und künstlich.
Bottle @ Richters w friends/Don. Appearance: pours slightly hazy amber with ok off-white sopay head and lacing. aroma/taste: bread, light caramel, grass, citrus and herbal notes..palette: strong malty and hoppy aroma, medium carbonation, medium body, average sweetness, balanced by a medium bitterness, average duration and a watery texture. Overall: nice somewhat hoppy Belgian
Bottle, 330 ml. Deep amber, light copper colour, light beige foam, can be recalled with every swirl of the glass. Aromas of a typic Belgian IPA, quite moderate, peach, mandarine, red grapefruit, faint sweet caramel in the background (actually i'm thinking of extra added caramel malt inside - but just a small amount, or maybe some roasted barley, but it has a faint caramel/toffee tone). Off-dry palate, more intensive sweet caramel inside, bright fruity flavour, IBU is around 45-50, medium+ sweet peachy aftertaste. Nice beer, the palate is more simple than the nose, at some point i was very confused on this one.
Botella de 33cl. Color dorado y espuma persistente. No le encuentro nada especial para recomendarla.
Fles 75cl thuis. Bloemig, flink hop, malten, bitters, wat fruitig. (1-2017).
Amber color with medium beige head and very subtle, undefined aroma. Sweet taste, with roasted flavours and a glimpse of floral hops, but almost no bitterness. Decent beer, but very poor IPA.
Bottle. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is DMS, straw, stinky. Taste is flowery, sugar icing. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not good.
Bottle from The Bottle Shop, Brugge. Dark amber with a small head. Has a mix of orange fruit and spices that hides its strength whilst maintaining a full body.
