Pours an amber colour. Taste is quite like a classic English bitter. Moderate hops with some toffee. Quite a decent Belgian attempt at a British beer

Beautiful clear deep golden pour with white head, reasonable retention. Aroma is mainly malty, with a faint hoppiness. Taste same, medium sweet with a moderate bitterness. Firm carbo. It's a nice English-style pale ale, but, for a beer with so many annotations of hop ("triple hop", dry, " the hop folder") it lacks specific hop quality. Incredible that I saw someone call this the mother of all IPA's; it's certainly not an IPA.

Espuma blanca que permanece como una fina capa, color anaranjado bastante transparente con pocas pero grandes burbujas brotando, aroma lupulado en nariz, sabor que parece dulce en inicio pero se torna en un amargor bastante agradable.
Sterk van smaak. Niet zo lekker. Beetje bitter.
Bottle from The Bottle Shop, Brugge. Darker clear amber with a carbonation and a creamy head. Strong tasting pale with a sweetness to its Belgian style yeasts. Quite dense in texture.
This beer would definitely be in my top 10.
It was an IPA that was there long before they became a hype... I'm not sure if it's allowed to go under that name... The label is cool, the boat that takes you along on thirsty trips around the African continent... The glass is also a nice touch… the foam of this beer is rather strong, the colour is a magnificent amber... and the taste... well it's the respectable grandmother of all IPA's... all taste is drowned by hopps… I like it, it's a beer that you could believe would be still drinkable after months in a barrel in a hot sailing ship…
330ml bottle from back from Belgium. Deep golden colour. Aroma of pine and candied fruit. Easy drinking, with a good hop bitterness.

Colore ambrato e/o ramato chiaro con una schiuma mediamente spessa e bianchissima,abbastanza duratura.L'aroma è moderatamente maltato, si avvertono caramello, frutta ma con luppolo moderato (troppo forse).Il sapore è moderatamente dolceamaro con una durata media.Il corpo va da leggero a medio,un pò acquoso o oleoso,la carbonatazione è morbida.Una birra rinfrescante e bevibile nel suo complesso.

Aromaty: słód, karmel, owoce (banan) trochę chmiel.
Smak i odczucia przy piciu: słodkawe, lekka goryczka, trochę mdłe. Mogło by być zdecydowanie lepiej wyważone

Redelijk... beetje moutig, redelijk gehopt maar niet de fruitige kant op. Bitter genoeg. Smaakt is redelijk lang.
No tak srednio, cos tam jest w aromacie, jest jakas goryczka, ale ogolnie cienko.
Mocno się pieni, wodniste, mało intensywny smak, jedyny plus jest taki że jest pijalne.

Une ambrée assez classique, plutôt agréable, où le malt est bien présent et la saveur s'oriente plus vers le sucré que vers l'amertume.
Flesje gedeeld door Inoven. Her is een oranjegeel helder bier met weinig schuim. Het heeft een aroma van citrusvruchten en hop. De smaak van sinaasappel en zoethout. Smaak is snel weg.
On tap - clementine orange with small white head, high carbonation. Fruity aroma, ok mouthfeel. Good strong fruity flavour - lasting - nice.

It’s not as strong as a 12* ( bush) I love the color, it doesn’t leave you with a special feeling, it is kind of sweet, mild, foam level is small and kind of expensive for me (6$) . I did enjoy pale ale from other producers that did not exceed 3$ and got the “ special feeling “
I think the deal killer for me is the price ....

Gekregen van de zoon van mijn zus op 29-07-2017. En geproefd op 6-1-2018. Martins Pale ale is een helder en amberkleurig biertje dat bij het uitschenken veel gebroken wit schuim produceert in een gelijkmatige structuur. Het blijft op een normale wijze aan het glas kleven. Er is weinig CO2 activiteit met fijne belletjes. Na een tijdje is het schuim ingezakt tot een fijn laagje van ongeveer 1 mm dikte. Het aroma van Martins Pale ale is fruitig met banaan, waarschijnlijk van de gist en toch ook citrus. De smaak is bitter, hopbitter en karamel-zoet. Ook nog een hintje van karamel-mout zit erbij. In de mond toont Martins Pale ale een volle boddy, is hij wat bitterdroog met een volmondige textuur en een normale koolzuurgas prikkeling. Een degelijk harmonieus biertje. De nasmaak vloeit uit is bitterig en wat droog in de mond met nog een stroperig zoetje erbij. Zeer lekkere doordrinker zonder meer.
