3.0 Dark amber, doesn’t hold any fizz. Completely inoffensive in every way, tastes ok, can drink plenty in a short space of time, but is deservedly in the lower end of Australian beer price range
2.2 An initial impact followed my numerous bursts, like falling over, smashing your face on the pavement, and then dragging your bottom lip through the gravel
1.9 Arme malt. Forte carbonation au dbut mais elle devient vite plate.... Elle est un peu floteuse en bouche. Rien de spcial
3.1 12oz. bottle. Pours a medium, well retained ivory head, over a clear, light gold (SRM 4) body........nose is mild toasted malts, light fruits, with pine hints from the hops, balance slightly to the hops......taste is initially slightly sweet, with light toasted malts, mild fruit tones, with citrus and melon from the hops, becoming dry, finishing mildly bitter......mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, moderate carbonation. This is a pleasant, easy drinking beer, which misses the American Pale Ale style, because of the atypical hop aromas and light bitterness. BJCP 6/3/9/4/6
3.0 345 ml bottle in Little Desert VIC, AUS. Tried it a couple of years ago. Good but not great.
3.0 I like this beer
2.6 On tap in a nondescript bar at Southern Cross Stn, Melbourne. Pours clear amber, white head with lacing. Little aroma, biscuit malts, a little metallic. Taste is light sweet, light bitter, biscuit malts, a little floral hop. Medium bodied, moderate carb, dry finish. Pretty dull, watery
1.7 Sure this used to be ok ish so either it’s got worst or I’m more used to better beers. Was one of the earlier craft beers in Australia so has some merit for this but has now become a mass produced tap beer. Bland, chemical tasting with a touch of amber and hops. Better than most of the mass produced offerings but well below average
3.1 330mL bottles at Lunar Park. Previously had as both bottle and draught. Appearance: Golden body. Small white head. 3 Aroma: A little metallic and boring. 6 Taste: Pale malt. Crystal/caramel. Minor citrus hops. Medium bitterness. More gutsy than a macro lager. 7 Palate: Thin body, lifted carbonation. 2 Overall: Not bad but a little incoherent. Fantastic when paired with sweet chicken tandoori. 13
3.1 Pours a clear straw gold colour with a thin near white head. Aroma is biscuity malt and floral hops. Moderately sweet biscuit malt taste with some of the floral hop flavours from the Yakima. Disappointing finish, not much there.
3.1 From bottle. Transfer of an earlier rating without text recorded, rating only.
2.7 Bottle from the Robert Gillow, Lancaster. Brownish amber, clear with a spotty bit of a head. Resinous and citrus peel aroma. Tastes sweet with a plastic note. Finish is more bitter. Fairly artificial all things considered, big resinous notes but not much else.
3.1 Gylden brun klar med lavt beige skum. Lukter maltekstrakt, kandis og noe trevirke. Middels fylde. Søtlig maltig smak. Lett bitterhet. Noe honning. Kort.
3.1 Clear dark orange color with medium white head. Creamy malt aroma with some hop notes. Light malty bitterness in aftertaste. Easy going.
2.5 My best Ale thus far
3.0 Good session beer, light on the hops, easy drinking
4.0 aroma: peach, piny, fruity appearance: nice Crystal light Amber, clear flavor: showcase topical American pale ale, dry, clean, very little bitterness, easy drinking
3.0 On tap at Prince Hotel, Kirrawee. Pours a bronze gold with a lingering white head. Aroma: Biscuity malt, pine, caramel, grass, mild citrus notes. Taste: Biscuity malts dominate the flavour balance. Mild caramel and citrus flavours. Nice flavour balance, smooth consistency. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. A lingering bitterness dominates the back end of the beer. Slight watery texture at the back end. Easy drinking, and definitely sessionable, but not particularly interesting or unique. Would order this over the other mainstream Australian pale ales, but there are definitely many more interesting Australian pale ales out there.
2.9 pours good white head pale copper color slight fruity aroma. ,fruity taste slight bitterness a bit waterish easy going beer
2.2 Tap at the Birmingham Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light, watery, skunky malt, light dry floral hop bitter palate and a lingering somewhat unpleasant bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Not the most pleasant drinking experience I’ve had and one that I won’t repeat any time ever! The lingering bitterness in the finish simply prolonged the agony.
3.0 Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a lasting creamy ivory head. Aromas of caramel, earthiness and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of caramel and earthiness with a smooth finish.
3.2 Clear golden appearance with large string carbonation. Nice floral hops aroma. Upfront hops taste with balanced bitterness, short lived tho and left with little aftertaste and a watery mouth feel. Smells better then it tastes but still a good beer.
2.4 The aroma is mild with just plain hops and malt. The appearance is Amber gold. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall drinkable but not much character.
2.4 Session beer for the casual beer drinker, lacking style and substance with a watery finish but one can drink it fast and enjoy their night
2.4 345ml bottle from Tasty Life, Xiamen. Pours clear golden amber with a white head. Initially had a nice floral aroma but it faded. Some malt and hops. Bitter finish. Thin. Remember having this on tap in Sydney a few years ago and being disappointed then.
2.3 Tap pour. Pours a solid gold with no head. Slight yeastie nose. Small hint of bitterness with a crisp taste. Almost seems more like a lager.
3.4 Appearance: crisp light amber with decent head Aroma: citrus, pine, hops, fresh Mouthfeel: medium mouthfeel and carbonation Taste: citurs, pine fruits. Low malt flavours. Clean bitterness on after taste
2.6 Bottle from appellation wines comely bank. Nose of red fruit, light resin. Taste is more of the same. Uninteresting.
3.9 Sabor marcante com amargor moderado, deixando um ótimo paladar. Aroma frutado e muito agradável.Infelizmente tomada na lata, preciso tomar na taça ou copo para avaliar melhor aparência.
2.0 Clear, golden colour with two fingers of off white head. Not much aroma, just malty if anything. Slightly metallic flavour with very low bitterness. Low to medium carbonation.
