Matuška Raptor IPA

Anglická IPA pochází z 19.století. Byla vyvážena do Indie, kde byly anglické kolonie. Pivo muselo přežít dlouhou lodní cestu v teple ,a proto se vařilo silnější a více chmelené. Chmel totiž chrání pivo proti škodlivým bakteriím. Pro Raptora jsme použili kombinaci českých, anglických, amerických surovin a náš varný postup. Proto naší verzi nazýváme intercontinental. Zajímavost je ta, že Raptora vyvážíme zpět domů, do Anglie. Intercontinental IPA. 15.9°

3.4 On tap at za razBIRAchi. Lightly hazy gold with plenty of head and lacing but no visible rising carbonation. On the nose, citrus, candy peel, lemongrass. In the mouth, frothy high carbonation, thin texture, slight sourness, some cereal and grains with the citrus into a very crisp clean finish. Not bad but nothing special either.

4.3 Tmavsi zlatava zakalena barva, bohata, celkem trvanliva pena. Vune chmelova. Chut trochu sladova, trochu ipovite horka, je citit ipovita borovice, i citrusy. Vyssi stredni horkost. Stredne plne telo. Vse v pekne pitelnem celku. Od vseho neco - ovoce, citrusy, borovice, karamel. Vyssi stredni plnost.

3.7 Bottle from U Kunstatu, Prague. Mid golden. With a good fruity hop body. Medium body.

3.7 Tons of tangerine and pears in the nose. Very clean. Medium full body, a touch of butter popcorn. A touc sweet but fairly clean. Nice stuff

3.3 Pours medium hazy golden colour, topped with larger foamy white head, pretty stable. Pleasant fruity nose with citruses and tropical fruits. Moderate bitterness, somewhat grassy with some fruitiness. Herbal aftertaste. Lighter body. Typical IPA, decently drinkable.

3.8 Ładna piana, złote, klarowne. Intensywnie chmielowe w smaku i aromacie. Goryczka średnia, ułożona. Trochę słodkie na wstępie. Spoko.

3.8 Zlý časy Wygląd: Barwa złocista, klarowna z białą wysoką drobnopęcherzykową pianą, która opada do ładnej trwałej warstwy pozostawiając spory lacing. Aromat: Delikatny, "apowy". Owoce egzotyczne, głównie mango, potem pomelo, melon, brzoskwinia uzupełnione cytrusami jak cytryna, limonka, trochę pomarańczy. W tle czysta słodowość chlebowa, nuta żywic i akcent estrów czerwonego jabłka. Smak: Podobnie jak w aromacie, jest więcej żywicy. W ustach jest półwytrawne z gładkością na podniebieniu. Treściwość średnio - niska, wysycenie średnie. Goryczka niska, ziołowa i odrobine grejpfrutowa, średnio krótka. Finisz półwytrawny albedo pomarańczy i mango. Ogólnie bardzo przyjemna, zwiewna i pijalna APA. Charakter z naciskiem na słodką stronę owoców egzotycznych aniżeli cytrusów.

3.6 Bottle. Low white head on an unclear golden body. Peach, zesty orange and grapefruit, spongecake, more citrus. Light sweet start, a bit tart, medium bitter finish. Medium body with pearly carbonation. Really good one.

3.9 Near the excellence! Very nicely balanced and very much drinkable IPA. Poured from a bottle apricot colour, appearance just great. The head did not last long. Very gentle and fruity nose. Perfectly balanced in taste (this particular batch had silghlty metallic aftertaste, probably bcs of the storage issues). Matuska as always great!

3.5 0.75 cl Bottle. Pours dark golden with medium sticky foamy head. Aroma: malty, caramel, some pine, hay- feels a bit dead. Taste: sweetish with nice bitterness, caramel. Nice beer.

3.6 On tap at Žil Verne. Clear amber colour with thick white head, aroma full of hops, orange peel, citruses. Smooth taste, hops, citruses, fruity, medium bitterness, soft carbonation, long bitter finish. Very drinkable, very pleasant, but missing some intensity.

4.7 Ok i just went to this beer museum in Prague so I got a chance to try it... its one of my favourites in czech republic! Good choice, wont regret it!

3.7 Draft at Pivnice U Sadu, Prague. Pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma and flavors of tropical fruit, caramel, bread, tangerine, pine, floral notes. Good stuff.
