4.2 Nicely balanced pineapple. Present, but not overpowering. Great for pool.
3.6 Maui brewing company. 5.5% good wheat beer. Very subtle pineapple taste. Almost not there. Refreshing good wheat beer Ian
3.1 Tap at City Tap. Pours light Amber body with white lace. Mild pineapple nose. Taste lightly sweet to bitter. Palate light to medium bodied, smooth feel average carbonation and a bitter finish. It will not draw me to Hawaii
3.0 Looks as you'd expect a wheat beer to, with a light bready aroma. Taste has a tangy tropical fruit hit, bread, a touch of hop. It's just a mite underwhelming unfortunately. Not bad though.
2.3 Different can says pineapple mana. Not excited to try this $2 gem from vintage. Looks like a slight fog on an otherwise pale eye. Smell is sweet but not quite cloying. Taste is better than expected considering its pineapple. Perhaps even a tad of tartness? No, just kidding. Some bitter medicine tends to come round in the middle. Pretty good co2. Fades quickly. Not really pleasant but its not bad considering its the old piney apple.
3.4 Draft at the Epcot Flower and Garden festival. Pours slightly hazy dark golden color with white head. Aromas of pineapple and wheat. Sweet pineapple flavor with some wheat. Medium body with average carbonation.
3.7 12 ounce can from wchesser. Thanks! The beer is a hazy gold with a white head of foam. Aroma has more of an apple pie character. Sweet and a little spicy. Never had a pineapple beer taste so much like apple pie. Medium body and medium carbonation.
3.5 Tap at Sidedoor. Filtered orange body, slight haze. Thin white head. Medium bodied, clean, well brewed. The pineapple is mild and well incorporated. Mellow sweet tang. Good.
2.8 Can a golden yellow colored beer with a white head aroma malts citrus fruits and hops flavor malts citrus pineapple tropical fruits and hops
2.9 12 oz. can. As Pineapple Mana Wheat. Pours hazy straw with a white head. Pineapple nose. Taste is pineapple, wheat, tropical fruit notes. Okay.
2.9 Funny after taste didn’t enjoy it.
3.5 Poured from can. AROMA - canned pineapple (a plus). APPEARANCE - golden amber, hardly any head FLAVOR - dry wheat, pineapple, apple juice, hint of spice. PALATE - not too tart, but wish it had more of a creamy texture. OVERALL - I would not buy again
3.1 As Pineapple Mana Wheat, can 12fl.oz. @home poured into a shaker. Hazy pale golden, small foamy white head, quickly dissipating, minimal lacing; aroma wheat, pineapple, orange, light straw; taste medium sweet, light bitter and a touch of acidity, wheaty, fruity, pineapple, coriander notes, fruity dry grainy finish; light to medium body, watery texture, average carbonation; refreshing, decent.
3.0 Pineapple. Dough. Clove. Some other tropical fruit. Cloudy honey gold with a bright white head. Fades to a thin film on the surface. Clove. Grass. Medium bodied. A little bitter on the finish which seems out of place. There's just a little hint of sweetness.
3.6 Pours a hazy golden with a white foam head. Aroma is sweet pineapple and wheat. Flavor leans more towards the wheat, but the pineapple is still prominent. Sweet. Well-carbonated and crisp. Overall nice and refreshing, especially on this unusually warm September day.
4.2 I really like this. Should be under wheat category though. A very solid wheat with some clean pineapple goodness. Not quite Hunny Do and that's local but this is good. Great summe r brew.
3.0 Pineapple Mana - hazy gold color; mild fruity aroma with hints of pineapple; a light wheat beer with pineapple notes; light and refreshing; probably good at the beach, but not really a beer I'd go out of my way for
3.7 12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 7/3/2017. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy medium golden/yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to small cap that lingers. Light spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of pineapple, peach, pear, red apple, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, pineapples, bready malt, and moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of pineapple, peach, pear, red apple, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness; and slight tart/tangy wheat/fruit on the finish. Lingering notes of pineapple, peach, pear, red apple, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, pineapples, bready malt, and moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a nice fruited pale wheat ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, pineapples, bready malt, and moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/spicy finish. Very well balanced between all flavors. Pineapple wasn't huge, but adequate. Nice hop presence for the style. Nice levels of American wheat yeast character, and balanced malts with no residual sweetness. A nicely enjoyable offering.
2.9 Can. Lightly hazy golden with one finger head. Maybe a hint of pineapple in the aroma, but that's where it ends. Dull wheat beer with some mild indistinct fruitiness. I love pineapple, but this didn't deliver.
3.3 Dégustée au Mondial de la Bière de Montréal 2011 (De mes notes papiers). .
3.3 Rating #2573 - 2016.05.13 - @yegbeerschool event. Pours a clear golden yellow with a little haziness. Bubbly white head dissipates quickly. Aroma is full-on pineapple. Not going to Dole out too many superlatives here (i think i use this with every pineapple beer, fuck I’m predictable) as this is fairly two-dimensional, but this is fairly easy drinking and delivers enough hefeweizen haze to keep my interest.
3.1 Nice flavor, hint of pineapple but not overly fruity. Would recommend for someone who likes a standard pilsner or light beer.
2.7 Can to glass. Overt pineapple juice on the nose. Faint sweetness. Slight hazed orange-copper with small white head. The pineapple is a little fake. Not much else.
3.6 Strong pineapple fragrance and taste. Mild hop profile and decent wheat yeast flavor. Lighter carbonation. A lot of tropical. Poured from a can. Good.
3.6 Can at MC Zurich. Pours clear golden. Aroma is malty, some wheat, pineapple. Body is medium, with a strong pineapple juice texture, also the flavours. Sweet and smooth, with a low carbonation. Sweetish fruity palate. Quite good!
3.5 12 oz can into a lager glass. Lightly hazed amber body with a good off-white head. Limited lacing. Aroma: cooked pineapple and wheat bread Flavor: cooked pineapple and wheat bread. Lightly sweet. Feel: Medium+ body with a surprisingly dry finish. Medium carbonation.
1.5 Way too sweet and fruity for my taste. It doesn’t even taste good, so no thanks!
3.5 Very nice for a fruit! Pours gold w/ a retaining white head & good lacing. Aroma is soft w/ a hint of pineapple. Taste is quite similar as it is delicate on the palate. The pineapple really adds a nice touch to the traditional wheat flavoring. Smooth & refreshing after a long run! Good stuff!
2.7 Pours a hazy yellow from a tap, white head, good lacing. Pineapple juice aroma is light with some wheatiness. Flavor similar light, not fruity. Okay beer, nothing outstanding.
3.2 Fresh pineapple aroma. Good orange pour, white head. Flavor is more malt than pineapple, but you get a little at the finish.
