3.5 Bottle from Pivotéka Nitra. Nice aroma of red berries. Tastes medium bitter but still rather fresh. Damn, I know this taste very well but cannot recall what it is at all. Good!
3.5 Tasting glass from tap at Maximus Proeflokaal. Appearance: amber with medium off-white head. Aroma: caramel, sweet malts, raisins, some apricots and spice. Taste: high sweetness and high bitterness. Notes of caramel, sweet malts, raisins, apricots. Palate: medium bodied, oily to sticky texture and medium carbonation.
3.1 Keg at 't taphuys. Pours deep amber, nose is malty, toffee, floral, taste is similar, light fruit.
3.8 Bottle. Pours a deep amber with a big tan head. Caramel, peach, red apples, slightly herbal, a little boozy, grains, grass. Light sweetness, turns velvety bitter. Medium body, with lively but soft carbonation. Loads of IPA character, lovely hop notes. Delicious. But I wouldn't have guessed this was a lager in a blind tasting.
3.2 At my home together with Yves amber colored body with a white head and with a spicy fruity malt aroma a spicy fruity malt hop caramel bitter taste with a bitter finish

3.5 Bottle at Cafe 21. IBU is 35 according to the bottle. Can’t add that info through the app. Amber color, white curtains /head. Vigorous pour by the server. Well... Aromas of caramel, citrus. Medium bitter, light sweet. Medium fullness, long aftertaste of bitterness like a grapefruit.

Coppery beer with a nice off-white head, fine sparkling and laces. Malted aromas, bread, caramel, fruity of orange-citrus. The taste is powerful, syrupy of malt and caramel-toffee with a hop with notes of citrus and herbs, bread spread with bitter orange jam. Not so far from Barley Wine.

Afdronk: droog bitter.
4.0 Light amber color which could be a little more clear as vienna lagers require, with a wonderful creamy and long lasting foam. Aroma of european noble hops (maybe EKG or Styrian G.), caramel and malty notes, some of which tend to be ta little bit toasty. Good balance between sweet and bitter. Medium body. Average carbonation. Bitter finish. You know, it’s not supposed to have the complexity of a RIS or a belgian, but it’s made so fine, without any single defect, and it’s so pleasant and drinkable that it deserves it all. So good!
