Maximus Diesel Stout 6

Maximus Diesel Stout 6

3.1 330 ml bottle. Clear, dark brown body with a dense beige head. Aroma has chocolate with an unpleasant hint of acetone. Flavor is sweet malt, chocolate and moderate bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Pretty average with a faint unpleasant hint in the aroma.

3.3 0.33 l bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Shared with Višnja 666 and Goran. Thanks! Black with dark red tint, creamy medium off-white head. Roasty, chocolate, ash, slightly off but still good. Very dry and roasty. Medium body, medium carbonation, very dry finish. Not impressed, although it’s nicely dry.
3.5 Bottle 33cl. Almost black with medium beige head. Flavour is of roasted malts, coffee, light chocolate, liqourice. A nice stout.
3.3 [12/8/2013] Bottle from De Molen Beershop : Dark brown with medium head. Nose of malts, caramel, coffee and chocoalte. Taste similar of coffee and chocolate. Malty. Bitter in the finish. Pretty good.
2.8 Keg at SBWF (6.6%) dark brown, rich head. Aroma of coffee and molasses. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, coffee and notes of ash, Mid bitter finish.
3.5 On tap @ Maximus, old note. The aroma has roast, coffee mainly. Black coloured beer with a thin, off-white head. The taste is light bitter, with some sweetness, roast and coffee. Bit thin body which makes it an easy drinking beer.
3.3 Turbid/opaque ruby/black beer with a slight beige head. Slight aroma; taste starts medium sweet and ends slightly bitter and dry. Caramel, bread, chocolate and roasted malts. 5/5/7/3
3.6 Pitch black with large light brown foam. Light aroma with no distinct notes only the slightest cacao. Sweet cacao dark chocolate taste with a bitter note.

3.3 Tap at Rotterdam, Helsinki. Colour dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Chocolate, harshness, some alcohol biscuit and roasted malts.
3.5 (Keg at Rotterdam, Helsinki, 20151031) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had chocolate, fruitiness and coffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were chocolate, burnt malts, yeast, ash and bitterness. Afteraste was ashy and bitter. A tasty but too burnt brew.
3.3 Bottled. Pours black with a beautiful creamy beige head. Aroma is sweet and roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, some milky sweetness. Taste is a bit disappointing, too watery and dry. Some smoked notes, some hoppy bitterness.
3.6 Bottle from Bert’s Bierhuis in Utrecht. The beer is very dark red colored and pours a massive sticky foam, with nice carbonation. The aroma is sweet from the caramel and there is nice bitterness from coffee and chocolate. Also a little smoke is noticable. The taste is medium bitter, dry and light bodied. The tones from the aroma are well noticable. The finish is short with hints of chocolate and coffee.
3.2 Piękna piana, drobna i zbita niczym śmietana. Aromat dość blady, widnieje jakaś tam paloność. Po ogrzaniu wychodzi nawet czekolada. W smaku dość wodniste, ale z intensywną palonością, w odczuciu podobną do rozgryzanych ziaren kawy. Długi palony finisz. Jest okej.
3.5 Butelka 0,33l Kolor czarny nieprzejrzysty, piana jasnobrązowa mocna utrzymuje się długo.Lekko kwaskowy aromat, smak wytrawny, mocno palone słody.Trochę wyczuwalny w smaku alkohol, nagazowanie dobre, posmak gorzki, przyjemny.
2.6 Some roasted malts, dark bread, coffee, water. Way too plain for my like. Some sweetness with light bitterness. One timer
2.7 Home brew went to offside. Taste is carbonated roasteater. Very sad beer. Would not buy for 2nd time
3.9 Bottle 0.33 l, Festiwal Dobrego Piwa, Wrocław, Poland. Czarne piwo z jasnobeżową, obfitą i sztywną pianą oraz świeżym, kwaskowym aromatem. W smaku wytrawne, kawowe z mocno palonym finiszem.
3.5 In wit bierglas, donker, maar transparante, dieprode gloed. Ruikt naar standaard stout. Smaakt ook zo, niks speciaals, prima stout.
3.6 Bottle. Black body with tan head. Aroma is roasted malts. Taste is like a nice thin stout. Aftertaste is roasted malts with some malts.

3.2 chocolate-metal nose, smooth and tender roast onset, silky mouthfeel, interesting contrast to the growing intensity of harsh, burnt toast, burnt oven remnants bitterness. One-dimensional and rough, not my glass of beer.
3.4 33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Gall&Gall Utrecht. Black/very dark brown with a thin beige head. Roasted malts aroma with some coffee. Taste is bitter but with some sweetness. Round body and a rather short but nicely bitter finish. Good one.
