3.0 Lukt: ananas, mango, Smak: ananas, mango, Kremete, grei karbonering, grei sødme, Veldig smooth smak. Enkle klare smaker av tropisk frukt. Kunne gjerne vært litt mere kompleks, men den er god slik. 6,0/10 180701
3.5 Fles 33cl thuis. Bitter, droog. (9-2014).----------------------------------.
3.4 Golden amber with frothy head. A: malts, soapy citrus, faint exotic fruit note. T: nice fruity bitterness with pineapple, some kiwi bitters, spices, orange and blood orange. Refreshing development. Dry finish with fruity, herbal, tea notes.
3.5 Medium white head, copper golden coloured body, fruity peach acid grapefruit smell, medium to high co2 medium bitter fruity malts sweet peach citrus like taste well balanced
3.3 Donkergeel, bijna oker, vlokkerige schuimkraag. Fruitig, perzik aroma. Lekker vol mondgevoel, prima bittere afdronk. Goed biertje.
3.9 On tap at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam on 16th March 2018. Coppery amber with whitish shallow, fully lacing foam. Biscuit malt aroma. Tangerine and maltiness in-mouth with just the hint of savoury nuttiness. Tangerine citrus finish.
3.5 Bottle. Medium eggshell head on a slightly murky amber body. Peach, orange, caramel, nectarine, pine. Medium sweetness, turns tart, with light bitter undertones. Medium body with lively, natural carbonation. Well done, very easy. Rather heavy on the juicy sweet notes, but not too sweet at all.
3.1 Shared with Wim at my home during komen eten. Blond colored beer with small white head and no carbonation. Malty hopped aroma. Medium sparkling palate. Finish is sweet fruited.
3.4 Tasting glass from tap at Maximus Proeflokaal. Appearance: slightly amber yellow with medium yellowish head. Aroma: mango, lychee, nectarine, peach and hops. Taste: medium sweetness and above medium bitterness. Notes of mango, banana and earthy yeast. Palate: medium bodied, watery texture and medium carbonation.
3.4 Bottle, pours amber with a fine head and a light toffee and spice nose. Smooth and creamy-dry with touches of toasty sweetness and a mild peppery and earthy bitterness. Nice balance of flavours, perhaps more an amber ale than pale though. .
3.4 Drank from draft. Aroma: fruity, soapy and sweet. Taste: soapy, orange, candy, hoppy, sweet and some malt presence. The taste is a bit too soapy for my liking.
3.1 Bottle 33 cl, 6 months past best before date. Pours a hazy amber with a small to medium white head and an aroma of toffee, mandarin, lime, fruity hops, honey, sweet malts and some sugarry notes. The taste Medium sweet, with a small boby and a soft carbonation. Finish is mostly sugarry and just slightly hoppy. Not bad for what it is.
3.6 Bottle from Mam and Dad’s Holiday, De Bierverteller, Utrecht, Netherlands. Hazy golden coloured with a thin white head. It has a malty, earthy and peppery hop flavour with citrus and malt on the finish. Very good.
3.3 Definitively okay beer but nothing specifically that will be remembered by me.
2.6 Dit bier komt fris er zuiver voor. Pure bitterheid, zoals in tonic, enige fruitigheid.
3.5 Bottle at a tasting. Slightly metallic, also needlessly sweet. Fruity, estery, overall lack of hops characteristics IMO.
3.6 Bottle kindly shared by Mato, many thanks. Hazy orange color with medium white head. Taste, solid malty base followed by citrus hops with oranges, zest. Medium long hoppy bitter finish. Good.
3.1 Bottle at Žil verne tasting 04/2017. Pours golden color, small head. Aroma of tangerines, yeast. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter, malty, tangerines, yeasty.
3.5 Bottle: 330 ml, Price: 0,89 eur Geras skonis, bet tuo pačiu kažko trūksta
2.4 Hoppy, a bit citrus, grassy. The taste is not very interesting, a bit watery. On top of that, I don’t like the hop used. Didn’t really enjoy this one.
3.0 The looks of the beer are quite simple. The color of the brew is a pale amber. The beer has a little haze. On top of the beer some soft but rough white foam is formed. The foam retention isn’t that great and the bulk collapses within minutes, leaving nearly nothing. The smell is weak. It takes some strong sniffs to really get a good smell. There are some malt aromas at the front, backed up by some slightly resinous hop aroma’s. There is some alcohol smellable. That is about it. I wish there was more and there were stronger aromas. The taste is a bit stronger. There are the same malts, some resinous hops...the hops are a bit stronger and contain some fruity touches. The beer has a nice bitterness. You can also clearly taste some alcohol and a touch of liquorice. The flavour is a bit simple over all. Could have been more special. The palate is simple to. Medium light body and carbonation. The finish is a bit watery, but also has some bitters. It isn’t that long. I expected more.
3.0 At home Tim hazy golden blond colored body with a white head and a spicy fruity hop aroma a spicy sweet fruity hop bitter taste with a slight bitter finish
3.0 Bottle. Color: Orangish golden, white head. Taste: Fizzy combination of medium sweet malt and hoppy medium floral bitterness. Hints of citrus and caramel. Nothing more and nothing less. Tending to a blond. Ok beer but not that special.
3.3 Sampled at Bad Flash, Prague at Maximus presentation. Pours clear golden with a big white head. Weak fruity hop aroma. Taste is light sweet fruity, some honey with grassy dry hops. Refreshing and tasteful beer.
3.5 [Rate 11/11/16: 7-3-5-4-11 = 3.0] Dark golden pour with small nearly white head. Aroma is lightly sweet of yellow fruits, apple and vanilla. Taste is little disappointing: somewhat watery, a very very faint bitterness, and it lacks some further qualities. This is more a regular blond than an APA. [Re-rate 05/12/18: 6-3-6-3-12 = 3.0] Hazy amber with off-white head. Soft hoppy aroma, but faint. Taste soft bitter. Not a very special APA. (Re-rate 18/09/19: 7-4-7-3-14 = 3.5) Haha, now they present it as a blond ("Maximus Pandora Blond") which fits better; then I have different expectations. As a blond beer it is actually not bad. Good retention, fruity, soft hoppy, some tender bitterness even in aftertaste, more character than regular Belgian blonds. That prooves how determining the framing is: as APA it was a bit flat, but as a blond it is quite nice.
