3.0 2.39€ @ Mitra Emmen.
2.7 Clear, deep golden/copper color, small white head. Typical english malt notes, very little dried fruity hop aromas. Little floral hops in the taste, very dry and bitter end. Good example of an old school english ipa, nothing special.
3.4 Golden amber color, weak white head. Great citrusy, peachy, hoppy, malty aroma. Taste is really fruity, some peaches, some apple, malty. Not hoppy enough for an IPA. Medium body, medium carbonation. Nice one.
2.5 On tap @Wiener Haus (Rome). Dorata limpida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso ossidata, malto, broccolo, cicorietta. In bocca è dolce all'attacco con amaro finale medio. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Ai limiti dell'imbevibile.
3.7 0.33l bottle. Dark golden color with white head. Aroma is malty with some earthy, spicy and citrusy notes with some biscuit character. Taste is medium bitter with some maltiness, along with spicy and earthy hop notes, with presence of some citruses. Overall it's very good beer.
2.5 Intersting IPA, with a promising malty aroma, but taste is slight hoppy and malty, it's sweet, rather bitter in the aftertaste. Alcohol is too strong. It could have been better, but it's just average.
3.1 Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, caramel, resin, light hoppy notes, medium bitter. Medium body, malty bitter finish. Average.
4.1 0.33l bottle. Clear copper body with a yolk head. Aroma and taste of caramel, toast, significant amout of pine, hop resin tangerine and apricot jam. Very nice IPA.
3.4 Une LONDON IPA classique pour ce style
3.5 London 5/7 2019. 44 cl on draft at Balls Brothers. Pours unclear orange with a small white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing. Moderately intensive aroma. Fruity sweet with Peach and pear. Very light citric overtones. Light touch of caramel from the malt. Light carbonation. Slightly thick, Soft, creamy, Smooth texture. Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium bitterness. Citric. Aftertaste is lightly bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish semi-dry. An almost gentle and smooth IPA. Runs down easily on a friday afternoon. 5/5/4/8/13 = 3,5
Geur mout, bloesem, muffig. Smaak mout, bloesem, sinaasappel schil, hop bitter, hars. Medium, droog, mondgevoel. Nasmaak mout, bloesem, citrus, hop bitter. Lange nasmaak.
2.6 33cl bottle. June 2019. Neuilly.
3.0 Can any time pale ale 4.7%. Decent session ale if nothing special
3.4 0,33l bottle. Clear deep golden colour with medium lasting white head. Aroma: Caramel, flour and overall yeasty tones with a light floral/honey notes. Taste: Has a short sweet malty start with a slightly fruity tone and has a quite hoppy/bitter mouthfeel with an orange peel vibe. Light/medium body with medium bitter mouthfeel. Long lasting bitter finish.
3.8 Pretty good, session IPA, copper/amber pour, nice head, toffee, floral and pine notes with a light orangey flavour.
3.0 33cl bottle. Pours clear dark copper color. Aroma of caramel, pine, lemon. Flavor of grass, floral, caramel.
2.8 Draught at Wiener Haus, Brescia. Light unclear orange clearly color, light bubbly aspect with creamy ehad of long resistance. Light roast malty and bitter cortex aroma. Medium bitter body, notes of pale, dry hop, resin, no fruity perception.
2.5 Aroma 4. Appearance 3. Taste 5. Palate 3. Overall 10. Bread and pine aroma. Caramel, malt and bitterness taste. Resin aftertaste.
3.0 ( bottle) Aroma: caramel, bread. Taste: dry, flavour of caramel, bread and herbs. Palate: medium body, medium carbonation. Ok-ish
3.5 330 bottle from Waitrose, pours golden-brown with a medium-large foam and aromas of toasted syrup and a little marmalade. Dry yet with a caramel texture and touches of sweet fruity malt. Almost herbal bitterness. Good stuff.
4.1 Nicest pint I’ve had so far in Eindhoven. Nice aroma, nice color, even when served from the bottle.
3.3 Tasty sweet malts and fudgy caramel. Not massively hoppy or citrus, more a traditional English IPA. Can taste the strength but not harsh. Nice example of the style.
*** Slightly lighter than usual, bright peach color, filtered color. Its foam is nice thick, quilted. Strong hop aroma, peachy, fruity. Good. A really fruity, not too bitter, rounded, consumer-friendly base IPA. The kind that you really even drink a lot of and there won’t be much of a hop yet. Well hit "large scale" IPA, affordable too, I can only recommend!
