2.2 Typical mass market lager aroma and taste. Mild corn sweetness and mild hop bitterness.
2.3 Clear golden beer with small white head. Aroma is weak malty. Taste is light malty, sweet, watery. Overall drinkable, but tasteless beer.
1.0 clear pale yellow colour, medium sized, quickly disappearing white head; aroma of grains. hay, metallic and wet cardboard notes; taste of a grainy lager with disturbing metallic notes; pfffffff....
2.0 "The beer is golden in colour with a nice frothy top. It smells malty and the taste matches the smell. Although the taste is milder than the smell. Very little to no aftertaste at all. A typical Caribbean lager if you ask me." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com Date: 27/01/2021 Bought at: Total Wine & More in Westbury, USA.
2.6 Bottle. Pours clear gold. Clean cereal, floral, slight sulfur, watery, very light finish. Light body. Honestly infinitely better than anticipated.
2.5 10 oz. can (241/20 so 8/27/20) from Total Wine & More, West Hartford. Though the picture on this listing is the only one on the internet I can find that does not have "Premium Light" on it, it appears that these are one and the same beers. Appearance is crystal clear pale yellow with decent sparkle, thin fizzy cap of white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is initial strong tart fruit followed later by sweet malts with vague nuts. Taste follows aroma with initial tart fruity blast with sweet malts more muted in the background. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, watery texture, soft carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, at least it only has 98 calories and only 10 ounces. I've ticked Puerto Rico now. This should be even colder than it is. A phlegm cleanser on a hot summer day but should not be drunk for flavor. Won't slow you down.
1.9 Clear light golden blonde pour with a thin white head and bands of lacing .... aroma is sweet and of corn, sweet malts, grain and a little grassy ...... taste is of sweet malts, grainy with light grass and corn .... mild light lager ... finish is of lingering sweet malts and grain
3.3 Refreshing beer , needs to be served cold. Great on a cold mug or out of a bottle. Not meant for the beer drinker who believes beer should be tasteless.
5.0 Heavier than some other light beers in the style but still refreshing. Good to have on a hot summer day after yard work. Overall an enjoyable beer. Cheers.
2.7 10 oz can at Abe's on Jost Van Dyke, BVI. Clear, pale golden appearance with a white head. Aroma of toasted grain and light grassy notes. Similar flavor, adding mild sweetness and minimal bitterness. Light body with a slight watery finish. OK.
1.5 Found out of can. Straw yellow. Very grainy. It's the Puerto Rican version of bud light. It's a quantity beer.
1.8 296cl Can. Gift from a friend. Golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is malt, straw. Taste is malt, sweet, grain, cardboard, watery. Light body, average carbonation.
3.3 12 ounce serving at Hard Rock San Juan Puerto Rico. Light grain smell. Light golden in color. Little bit of white head. Smooth and light. Light grain aftertaste. Would drink again. Cheers!
5.0 Light, crisp and satisfying. Great beer from the island!
4.2 Refreshing light beer with good flavor.
5.0 Great tasting beer. If you are Puerto Rican....the pride in your chest will swell up to no belief, 🇵🇷😉 It is available in Farmington Ave Wine and Spirits but I can't find it on this app so I'm going mention it
1.7 Pours clear Golden with a thick white head. Aroma of rice and malt. Taste has light malt. Palate is indistinguishable. Refreshing.
4.2 If you're not drinking it out of a 10oz can with your ass in the sand you're doing it wrong. It's a light lager, and for what it is, it's great. Refreshing and crisp, perfect beach beer.
4.6 great beer, smooth and relaxing flavor perfect for a beach day or any other day
1.9 Flaska. Klar guldfärgad med ett beständigt vitt skum. Dofter av malt och majs. Smakinslag av malt, gräs, bröd och kartong. Tunn kropp.
5.0 If you drink one really cold, it’ll be one of the best you’ll ever taste. I have been around the world and i have tried many beers, bit this one i tasted it in Puerto Rico and was amazing
2.0 12 oz bottle pours a clear golden with small white head. Not much to smell. Aroma has grass and corn. Body is light with a crisp mouthfeel. Taste is neither sweet nor bitter, with a hint of hops in the finish.
1.3 Pours clear golden with thin, white head. Aroma is corn and light grass. Taste is thin, as in barely there, caramel, moving to some remote hop flavor. Finish is nonexistent. I guess it's fine if the water is bad.
2.6 Can in San Juan Light yellow with a small fleeting white head. Hardly any aroma or flavor. Cold and wet.
2.5 Pours a clear golden yellow from the bottle with bubbly white head. Aroma and taste of light lager yeast, corn and bready malt. Its a Caribbean lager, not bad.
3.7 Pours a clear gold color with a bubbly white head and fair retention. No lacing. Clean, smooth and light body. Slight grainy and sweet flavor. Simple and refreshing. Reminds me of Tecate.
0.7 Having a can Puerto Rico lounge. Good for what it is; love the place though.
3.6 Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a bright yellow gold color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is AAL, corn and some hops. The taste matches the nose with some citrus added. Not a bad beer for session work.
1.6 Can received in a trade with Asbjorn - cheers! My country #153 on RB. Pours yellow gold virtually no head. Aroma is sweet, corn and grass. Pretty sweet, with a light and slightly metallic bitterness. Light body, oily texture, quite fizzy carbonation. Finish is swet and sticky.
1.8 Can @ Aarhus tasting, saxo’s. Light- malty and straw aroma. Light straw and white head, mostly diminishing. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Light body, watery feel and short finish.
