Melvin Citradamus

The great Citradamus predicts this will be the best IPA that you have ever had. Go ahead, put this beer up in your grill. Smell that? Those are hops. Citra hops. Dank-ass Citra to be exact. Your old favorite IPA does not have Citras? Why is that? Because they are wicked spendy and we bought them all, that's why. Go ahead, yuck it up.

Citradamus predicts you're not going to hate. You're going to party.

3.4 Can from Trembling Madness, York. Hazy amber, with a frothy, off-white, head. Big citrus hops, tangerine and grapefruits, caramel, chewy malts, plenty of booze in the dryish finish. Good.
4.2 Yes it's just a tad sweet, but for sipping it's not a problem, the great balance and strong malt backbone make this a great beer. Add the cloudy dark gold beer with outstanding head and some lacing. I'll buy more if I can get it
3.8 Unclear, orange to amber colored, medium off white head. Aroma is of caramel, moderate piney and citrusy hops, sweetish, light alcohol. Taste is medium+ sweet malt, caramel, moderate citrusy and piney hops, some fruitiness, orange, bit hardcany, light alcohol, medium bitterness, dryish fruity finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Feels like some hoppiness left the building already but still pretty good..

Citra’s not dead...

4.0 Can from Beer Zoo. Hazy amber body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Patchy lacing. Aroma of mango chutney and tinned pineapple. Flavour of honey and lemon drops. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. It’s strong but drinks really easily.

3.1 Keg @ Sori Taproom.Poured almost amber in color. Thick off white head.Resiny, caramelly malty aroma and flavor. Don't know how old or new this is, but feels bit tired. Resiny hops, grapefruit, finishes malty. Not a fan.
3.8 (Keg at Sori Taproom, 20190301) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, pine, lightly caramel and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, pine, grass, toffee, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. A clean and tasty hoppy brew. Quite good balance.

3.8 12 oz. can from drsordr. Pours a bright clear golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted pale malts, big citrus, grapefruit, dank hops, herbal tea, honey, very good, but I have enjoyed some of their other hoppy beers more.

3.9 Crowler at home from keg. Amber colour white head disappears fast. Nose is resin, orange. Taste is medium high bitterness, low sweetness. Intense resin in the taste as well, orange. Would've sworn simcoe instead of citra. Dank sticky old school dipa.
3.8 Pours slightly hazy golden with an average white head. Aroma of tropical fruits orange and peach. Sweet taste that ends up more dry and bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft to average carbonated. A very nice IPA. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

3.6 12 oz. can from Higher Gravity. Pours a mostly clear orange-gold with some yeast floaters and a moderate white head that settles into a ring and film, leaving some trailing lace in the glass. Notes of tea, orange, honey, dust, earth, grass, straw, sweet and caramel malts, and dried apricot. Medium-bodied, with modest carbonation and a smooth, sweet mouthfeel. Good but I like their other IPAs better.
