3.4 15 ounce glass at Lizardville in Copley, Ohio. Smell the citrus hops. Deep golden in color and a big fluffy white head. Taste the citrus hops and some acidity. Very bubbly off tap. Dry hopped aftertaste.Good for the style. Cheers!
4.2 Can from Total Wine and More in Reston, VA Aroma: citrus, pine, woody, caramel Appearance: clear golden with an off-white head Taste: medium sweetness, medium bitterness Mouthfeel: average carbonation, medium body, creamy feel, long finish Delicious
3.8 Amber color with off-white head. Aroma has pine, needles, tropical fruits. Taste is malty sweet with long bitter and dry aftertaste. Flavors of resin, needles, grapefruit and some tropical fruits.
3.9 Small head. Good citrus aroma. A good amount of bitterness. A small amount of carbonation. Chill and easy to drink.
3.2 Can. Juicy mandarin, pomelo, honey melon, soft mouthfeel. Awesome would it be if it were not for the horribly astringent bitterness.
3.7 Can from mother kelly. Deep orange colour with a white head. Aroma is pine and orange citrus. Slight marmalade bittersweet taste. Medium body.
3.6 Very dank very malty aroma. Beautiful dark orange color with an off white head. Taste is also dank with moderate grapefruit hops at the end. Nondescript palate, not worth a 99 but pretty good.
3.7 Can from Great at home. Goldenrod transparent pour with medium foamy head. Aroma is strong dank pine and grapefruit zest hops, like classic west coast IPA. Taste follows, grapefruit much more pronounced. Delicious big bitter bite. Smooth slightly rich palate. Finish is prickly bitterness and crisp pilsnery malt. Very good.
3.5 Can. It poured a hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma was of hops, citrus and florals. The taste was similar to the aroma with more hops, citrus, florals, tropical fruits, malts with medium carbonation and a nice bitter sweet aftertaste. Nice.
3.9 12 oz can on the veranda overlooking Torrey Pines - Slugged straight out of the can after a 10 hour plane ride. Solid ale, good weight and malt supporting evergreen hops.
3.3 Smell of spruce, hops, earth. Hazy orange colour, creamy white head. Aroma of earth, spruce, alcohol. Aggressive flavours. Very bitter. Soft carbon. Slightly oily texture.
3.4 Sampled at Great American Beer Festival 2019 in Denver, Colorado. Hoppy, citrus, piney, sweet.
3.5 12oz can from Coral Bay in Greeley. Can date of 5 weeks ago. Standard IPA pour. Aroma has citrus, light pine, and some tropical fruit, with a bit of sweet malt. Subtle. Taste follows. More fruity. Still somewhat subtle. Finishes fruity sweetly. Good, for what it is. 13.4
3.7 Orange; moderate crystal and biscuit malt; lots of resin; light grass and cereal; light pepper; light honey; quite bitter dry. Body is spicy, bitter, moderate slickness. West Coast style resin hoppy bitterness with orange + spice. Tastes bigger and more bracing than you’d expect for a 7.5% ABV.
3.7 On tap at Lunar Brewing Co. dispensed to a shaker showing a deep, orangey/gold color with a presentable layer of soft white froth that produced a sheet-like band of clinging lace. The nose presented a touch of dankness, sweet malt, and esters as citrus, pit fruit, and some tropical scent. Medium bodied, with okay carbonation, the taste was similar notes with the sweetness slightly taking the edge off the appropriate citrus & rind bitterness. A clean, no nonsense IPA wading through the current hazy atmosphere.
2.9 Aroma of pine and some malt. Sweet malt up front. Caramel tones pop. Bitterness is mild, finish is mostly sweet. Average
3.3 Lys brun lett tåkete med høyt hvitt skum. Lukter stenfrukter og karamell. Middels fylde. Lett bitter fruktig smak. Stenfrukt, barnål og karamell. Middels lang. Noe mer bitterhet utover.
3.8 Can from BelgianBeerGal. Amber, mostly clear with a lacing head. Piney aroma, hints of tropical fruit. Nice, full-bodied IPA.
4.0 (hop us µ-exo, bouche > onctuo-résino-citronnée, > bitter dès middle, bonne ipa ! (l’ipa - ‘sous-genre’ où le houblon tue le reste))
2.9 Can. A- Caramel, mild pine, mild citrus. A- Copper color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Caramel, malty, mild pine. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Paid $7 for a can of this at a place in Wyoming and they didn't even know what I meant when I asked for the Melvin. First sign to not order. Got the can and it was 15 months passed the best by date. Naturally this was a winner.
3.8 Pours clear amber, fluffy head with beautiful lacing. Typical IPA to the nose with caramel, pine and citrus. Tastes bitter, with some caramel malty notes, pine and citrus, minor tropical hops and bitter finish. Medium body, viscous, fine carbonation. The usual West Coast IPA, balanced, not hop raped. Decent.
3.1 Poured clear amber with a touch of orange to it. 3-finger off-white head. Aroma of dank, resiny hops. Maybe a touch of tropical fruit. Medium body with a light oiliness. Long finish with a mild dryness. Flavor was dank hops. I found this to be kind of one note, so perhaps I'm just not a fan of their "secret hops".
3.7 Pours a slightly cloudy, deep golden amber, coppery coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smells of biscuity, caramel malt and citrus/tropical hops, with just a hint of pine. Taste follows the nose, with some sweet'ish biscuity, caramel malt in the foreground and somewhat faint, bitter, piney, citrus hops coming through as well, with notes of grapefruit and pine, as well as a hint of pineapple. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some sweet malts and piney hops lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation. I debated not rating this at all, but ended up just giving it a higher score than I would strictly from this can, because it seems obvious that this is well past its prime at slightly over 5 months old. There's still a glimpse of those resinous, piney and bitter hops there, but they feel faded and somewhat overshadowed by sweet, caramel malt. Reminds me alot of those cans of 5 month-old Stone IPA, Jai Alai and Two Hearted I've had in the past, a shadow of its former glory :(.
4.1 Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 3/12/2019. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, cracker, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, cracker, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, honey, cracker, toasted biscuit, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is an awesome IPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; not overly aggressive. Fantastic Centennial, Simcoe, Citra profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great balanced bready malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering crisp resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and outstanding classic tasting west coast style example.
3.6 Can 355ml @ My parent's place Pours hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, grapefruit and pine. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long caramel, citrus, grapefruit and pine finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
3.7 Can 0,355L. Slightly hazy, copper color with average big, frothy, white head. Aroma is herbal, grassy, spicy. Taste starts light sweet, malty and fruity, while finish is light to medium bitter, still fruity but with touch of alcohol. Medium to full body, dry texture, lively carbonation. Good, nicely ballanced beer.

3.4 Shared can at Brynes place. Pours weak hazy golden with a big creamy white head.. Aroma of piny hops. Taste is smooth dry creamy fruity hops.
3.4 Draught at the Black Sheep. Good fruity aroma. Cloudy dark golden colour. Stable white head. The flavour is fruity, slightly overripe or perhaps even rotten. Peppery alcohol finish. Better than it sounds, though.
3.2 Taste at the Coaltrain IPA Madness tasting. Pours a clear, straw color, with a small, bubbly, off-white head. The aroma is caramel, cloves, pine sap, and dust. Sharp bitterness. Fair.
