3.0 0.33 l bottle from 'CraftBeer-Dealer.com'. Hazy, dark amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, malty, slightly fruity and a little yeasty-spicy aroma of caramel, honey, candied apricot and some banana. Moderately sweet, malty, slightly yeasty-spicy and a little fruity taste of caramel, honey, some banana and a touch of candied apricot, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little tart, slightly yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly oily and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite okay, even though I guess the bottle was quite old.
3.4 Not bad for a Mexican Weizen. Quite refreshing, golden but not so cloudy, spiced and easy to drink.
2.7 Bottle from Northgate: Poured a Aroma smells of sweet malts and a big whiff of bubblegum and banana esters. Appearance is dull and only pours as a brass copper color with a fizzy head that disappears similar to soda pop. Flavor is off and taste of home brewed beer with powdered malts and cheap or near expiring yeast. Never buying this again.
2.8 33cl bottle at La Tabla, Tallinn. Pours hazy amber with a short-lived head. Modest fruity and wheaty aroma with some strange notes and hints of citrus and yeasty. Moderate sweet with rather mild flavours and a light acidity. Not too impressive, but drinkable enough.
3.0 Bottle from Tops Supermarket, Bangkok. Poured a clear copper colour with a short-lived fizzy white head. The aroma is malt, crushed banana, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet with a light crisp watery cardboard light fruit, light metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.
3.1 33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with JMGreenUK. Thin ring white head. Low carbonation. Clear light amber pour. Ok. A bit past it’s prime I think.
1.8 330ml bottle (Ancho, Tallinn) Clear orange, brief head. Wheat ale I can believe, but the yeast has completely dropped out of this. Stinky sweet aroma, some tomato yuck. Light palate, watery, a bit fizzy. Tastes of sweet watered down tomato juice. Some tin in there too. V poor. D pour.
2.7 Bottle from Booths, Media City. Copper-orange with a thin head. Its noticeable strength seems to negate its hefeweizen character, although there’s some of this styling here.
3.2 Bottle @ Luxembourg hotel room tasting. Nice heD with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are yeast, fruits, banana, wheat malt and hops.
2.7 Bottled, 330ml at The Lone Wolf, Birmingham Hockley. Clouded amber with off white head. There is a malty sweetness to this with a dose of banana essence. Caramel notes then herby. An odd mix of flavours for me. Just okay.
2.5 Bottled 0,33L. Hazy and dirty orange color wuth good head and moderate bubbly presence. Intense yeasty and banana aroma, alcohol, aged white flover. Unusual taste with overbanding sweetish and yeasty mouth. Strong fruity and little sout taste. Unbalanced overall impression.
2.6 Bottle, pours dark red-brown, gassy yet headless, not much aroma, palate is sweetish with a little toffee and red fruit. Bit dull.
3.2 Bottle. Orange and slightly cloudy.Wheaty flavour. Not an unpleasant taste just pretty boring and uninspiring. Finishing it off was a bit of a task.
3.3 Bottle at Vue, Shepherd’s Bush. Sold as part of FrightFest event. Sweet is the operative word - both in terms of oroma and taste. Honey, with a bitterness and the alcohol in the background. Medium bodied and soft. Looks good - amber with a frothy head. Enjoyable enough but just overly sweet and industrial.
3.8 Pours amber with a small head. Nose shows soft banana and clove, a bit of sweet bready malt and faint caramel. Flavours include more bready malt, caramel and sultana notes along with soft banana.
2.9 33cl bottle. Hazy light amber colour with a nice white head. Banana, earthy and spicy aroma. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is light sweet with fruity and caramel notes and a more bitter finish. Overall, drinkable but not remarkable.
3.5 Pronounced babyfood banana aroma, lesser bread notes. Cloudy amber, thin head. Bready peach and banana, subtle caramel. Pear finish. Full body, moderate carbonation, alcohol evident. More German authenticity than expected.
3.1 330ml bottle. Cloudy pale yellow pour with a pale vanishing head. Aroma of haylage and sweet banana bread. Flavours of faint haylage and wheaty bread.
2.9 Bannanas on the nose with its cloudy colour made this look promising. But unfortunately it tastes like a watered down version of the superior German versions. By no means terrible but its not great either.
2.7 cloudy amber color; musty, earthy aroma; odd caramel malty flavor with fruit notes and wheat malt; I did not detect any banana-clove notes of a hefeweizen yeast
3.8 will repeat rating. a nice brew with good moderate finish and fuller body that is not frothy. pleasant flavors of banana and light spice without the need for a malt that announces itself. instead there is a alcohol kick which suffices marvelously. somebody in Mexico knows how to make a really good Hefe!
3.2 Bottled. Orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized white creamy head. Aroma is wheat, mild spices as well as some citrus and fruits. Flavour is very similar, with also some banana notes to it. Nicely yeasty finish as well.
3.4 330ml bottle with a great looking label. Fairly clear orange colour until you get the sediment out the bottle resulting in a very cloudy/murky/muddy water appearance, a fine white head quickly dissipates. Aroma of wheat, yeast, malt, light banana notes and just the faintest hint of spices/herbs. Taste of wheat, yeast, malt, banana, mild hint of cloves, some sweetness. Smooth and dry.
2.8 Bottle poured a cloudy golden amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of wheat, yeast, fruitiness and light clove. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, yeast and light spice with a smooth finish.
2.7 Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of wheat and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and malt, leading to a bitter finish.
2.6 33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty. Light grassy and toasted malty. Bitter, herbal and light estery finish.
3.2 33 cl. bottle. Clear golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops, fruit, straw, wheat and yeast.
