2.2Bottle, very light taste, no hops, very little malts, very llittle taste or palate, this is a very dissapointing dark lager, really, this is a very lame beer.
2.5Pours a beautiful copper with fine bubbles chasing up the pilsner glass, medium tan head that lasts medium and shows good typical American lager lacing. The nose is strong molasses and apple. The flavor is heavily balanced toward what seems to be unattenuated and unmodified malt extract, with some green apple and the barest hint of cardboard, otherwise clean. It ends caramelly. No hops to speak of. Fairly watery and slightly oily with a faint malt aftertaste. Neh, but might be good to introduce your friends to something other than macroswill.
2.8Poured from a bottle: orange amber body w/ a cream bubblily head. Flavor was malty I think, still learning give me a break. Wasn’t a bad beer at all, thank goodness I have 5 more.
3.2This beer is not bad... Its taste has a good bitterness level with a sweet, faint wood taste, and it smells really good, like a fresh cake...??? anyways, not bad at all for the price but, is this true irish amber...?
3.3The best two features of this beer are the nice, malty aroma, and the nice reddish amber color. The flavor itself is fairly malty-carmelly-sweet, with very little hop presence. Mouthfeel is a tad watery, and the artificial carbonation gives it a bit of a bite, but it’s definitely drinkable and has more flavor than some of the real light lagers.
2.6Pours a deep dark goldish brown color. Aromas of rich malts with a touch of hops. Malt flavor with a grainy aftertaste and watery finish.
2.3Pours an outrageously deep copper with a deliciously thick creamy yellow head. Aroma is of warm caramel and baked bread. Initial flavor is of roasted malt, nuts, and caramel.
But...................... this is where the pleasure ends. What starts off as one of the best brews in America get’s it’s fire put out by....what else?: WATER!!!!
High Falls Brewing Company made a fantastic beer and allowed too much water to remain in the final product. The initial flavor and then the after taste fade in the backdrop of wateryness. It’s almost as though this is the "light" version of a great beer. For shame, for shame. I paid $3.49 for a 6 pack at Bluemound Liquor in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 09/05/2K6.
1.5Deep amber pour with a foamy yellowish head. There is a very slight aromoa malt, not much but almost there. Very light bodied beer. Thin and watery over all. Not much of a nose or finish, not much in the way of hopps or malts. I don’t think I will buy this again.
4.5This is my beer of choice. I’ve been drinking it daily for the past 7 years. I love the malty nose. I could sniff this beer for hours. I believe this beer is underated by many on this website. If you like hoppy beers or stouts, look elsewhere, but I love the medium body and malty nose.
1.8amber. straight lined lacing. light hop aroma. bland biscuity malts. metallic. not much hops. overall a very bland beer.
2.5This clear amber lager has a nice creamy head, for about thirty seconds. The aroma is sweet, caramel and fresh grain. The taste isn’t bad, sweet, lightly toasted malts, but it’s quite thin, quite watery. Watery finish.

2.4Aroma of grain and slight sweetness. Color is a beautiful red-brown. Small head, some lacing. Lots of bread, grain flavor. Not much finish. Distinct, but not distincly great.
2.7Pours to a bright amber with thin off-white head and okay lacing. Caramel was slightly evident in both the aroma and the taste, moreso as it warmed. Palate was smooth. Not an outstanding beer, but a decent drink, especially for the price.
2.8The bottle poured a clear reddish-brown colored beverage with an average sized white frothy head that was mostly diminishing and left some lacing on the glass. The aroma was quite light, almost delicate. I could pick out a light presence of sweet apple against a background of caramel malt. There was also a note of light sweet yeast. The body was surprisingly more fully than expected rating a medium to light. This was accompanied by a soft carbonation and slightly creamy texture. The flavor started off lightly sweet showing off the caramel and apple. The finish was not very long in duration and had just a touch of bitterness to counter the sweet start.
1.5Dark copper color with a diminished off-white head. Toasted wheat bread aromas with just a touch of mold. Dry caramel flavors with a unclean middle and finish. A chocolate and caramel bar that has been lying around far to long. Long acidic bitterness in the linger. Too fizzy in d weak in body.
2.6Clear amber body with a generous white head. Sweet nose with honey and caramel present. Taste was similar but had a hoppy finish with a carbonated bite to it. Overly carbonated possibly? Rather full bodied once it warmed up. More flavors came out as it warmed, and it did not get better as it warmed. Better to start this one ice cold.
3.0This light orange amber colored beer packed a lot of carbonation, and formed a three finger foamy head over 8 oz. of beer in the pint glass. It smells mostly of club soda like forced carbonation, and has little bit of honey on the nose too. It tasted very bland with a nondememo caramelized maltyness, and a strong bite of CO2. Noticeable hop bitterness was present in the aftertaste. Body was decently thick and mouthfeel creamy. An average amber ale all around.
2.9One of many beers for ST. Patricks, I definately had my share of these. I did do one for tasting first. Dark red amber color, like red tea. Thin head, but stayed longer than expected. Taste was sharp. More grain flavor than expected, very nice. Definately liked it better than Killians.
3.2A surprise find on the grocery store shelf. Nice lacing, but a weak head. Pretty dark tea color and nice bubble patterns. Malt flavors that balance out the touch of hops in the aftertaste. A good option that can be found in the aisles.
3.1Can’t believe I haven’t rated this, so I went out and got one. Pours a nice attractive deep red-amber color, medium head. Small caramel aroma, but with a hint of metallic. Flavor drier, some light caramel, some light bitter chocolate and a dry ashy finish. OK.
2.6Bottle. Light caramel and malt aroma. Dark amber color with small head. Molasses malt flavor with moderate body. Kind of like a Guinness light.
2.5This isn’t a bad cheapo beer, and it’s pretty easy to find in my area. Nice looking beer, slight sweet, refreshing flavor.
2.8Pours a rich amber. Nose is weak malt and caramel, with the flavor following suit. Unimpressive, but acts as a nice go-between between macro and micro.
3.0Medium red with little to no head. Decent enough of a caramel aroma to suck you in ... and not too bad of a flavor, with a hint of a biter nutty finish ... not much of a body, but much better than I frankly expected.
3.1Amber pour with a thin white head. Aroma is caramel malt with a touch of hops. The palate is amazingly light.. too light for this style. The flavor is good for an irish ale. Tasty but not what you want on the palate. Good but not good enough to come back for more.
2.6Medium amber colored body with a thin off white head. The aroma is rich with caramel with a hint of coffee and pears. The taste is toffee and some coffee. Thin motuhfeel with light carbonation. This is refreshing but not a great brew.
1.612 oz bottle, snifter. Well, I can’t beat it up for appearance. Giant frothy, off-white head is well lasting and sticks to the side of the glass like glue. Deep amber hue with lively visible carbonation. Heavy DMS and cooked vegetable aroma. I suppose there might possibly be some caramel in there as well? Wow that’s baaaad. Lightly sweet, lightly acidic flavor becomes a lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter finish. Medium-light body, watery texture, lively carbonation, metallic. Flavor is every bit as dirty as the aroma and offers no redeeming qualities. The bottom line is: No, really, this isn’t good.
2.5This is a malty flavored beer that is a copper-colored lager. There is a familiarity in the taste reminiscent of Killians. The aroma is inviting with a caramel scent. Not an expensive six-pack and worth giving a try.
2.2Caramely and carbonated. Like a watered down, malty brown ale. I need more character in a beer. I think this one plays it safe and tries to offend the least amount of people. The problem with that is that it doesn’t spark any genuine interest.
2.4Looked great out of the bottle. Amber color with tan head, mine did not disippate. Not much of an aroma, just slight hops. Palate was meager with the same slight hops noticable. Finish was clean. Not bad.
