2.6Bottle in Ann Arbor. A touch hazy, golden pink appearance with a white head. Effervescent, light raspberry aroma. Sparkling, light raspberry, light wheat flavor.
3.2Refrigerated bottle poured into a white wine glass. Pours translucent pinkish purple with medium light pink head. Some lacing, good carbonation, and medium body. Taste is slightly tart raspberry and wheat.
2.9The beer pours a hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the raspberry with some biscuit malt mixed in. The flavor is definitely heavy on the fruit. I get a lot of sweet, syrupy raspberry with a tad bit of biscuit malt. The fruit tastes a bit artificial and is not that well done. Thin to medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
3.4Bottle. Flowery raspberry aroma - hint of mustiness. Cloudy amber color with large head. Floral, lightly sweet raspberry malt flavor. Not bad - not as sweet as the typical fruit beer.
2.6Sampled at Texas Beerfest. Pours a pinkinsh purple with a small white head. The aroma is rasberry fruit and tart. Thin mouthfeel with a rasberry flavor and a sweet finish. A decent fruit beer from MBC.
2.3bottle - Aroma raspberry, malt, clove?, and caramel. Pours a clear pinkish orange with a thin white head. Taste is disappointing. I’m getting metal, sweetness and a slight sour finish. That said, the taste is diluted which is weird in the creamy and sticky palate. *ick*
3.0Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Dull reddish brown brew with an almost white head. Cloudy. Sour aroma with hints of yellow pound cake and berries. Taste is light and simple, but clena and good. A little sweetness with some raspberry notes, a bit of sour in the finish. Very pleasant to drink.
2.8Bottle. Highly carbonated, light yellow color with some reddish hue. Aroma is an odd skunky fruit. Thankfully, the taste is better, a little sweet, but not too much. Relative short finish, no lingering aftertaste. I’m not really into the fruit beers... this is okay.
2.6Pours a cloudy amber with a orangish/red tint. Aromy is slightly earthy. Taste is long and sweet. Palate is lively and light.
3.2Yellow, slightly hazy, little head. Aroma is raspberry. Taste is a bit calmer - a decent amount of malt taste with raspberry behind it. Finish is a bit tart with berry flavors. It’s actually not bad as it’s not as overpowering as over raspberry beers.
3.9Pours slightly hazy, amber with a nice reddish cast. Smal white head fades to moderate, super-fine lacing. Nose is sweet, intoxicating, and full of fresh raspberry essence. Light body, medium carbonation, very sweet without being cloying, light and refreshing. Pleasantly tart and sweet on the finish. Some would call this frou-frou, but as fruit beers go it’s very nice. What it lacks in complexity it makes up for in accessibility.
2.8Very fruity, light . Raspberry (obviously), and a bit floral. Low ABV; enjoyed this more than other fruity brews. Recommended.
3.0Rated the original Celis before Michigan took over. Pours like a pale ale. Nose and taste is very light raspberry and light malts/wheat. Rated 10/24/2000
2.6Bottle,
has a clear (there is a little haze) faint pink and red with gold yellow pour, gave a few white bubbles when poured but hardly any head appeared,
I was surprised to find there was a small ring and film of dark sediment on the bottom of the bottle,
prominent aroma of raspberry like fruit with faint fruit like sweet white grape and others fruit I could not pin down, a little wheat and malt fragrances with faint lemon citrus, and some fruit juice sweetness,
flavors of light raspberry and other fruit, there was not as much sweetness on the palate as on the nose, also, there was some lemon citrus in this,
and this beer gave a little prickling and bitterness at the finish, little sweetness if any after the finish,
has a less than medium mouth feel,
I can see this beer as refreshing on a hot Summer day, I think having a bit more Wit beer influence would have made the drink better.
3.7A- Transparent rose colored body. Body looks very similar to a blush wine. The small white head tapers off quickly. Leaves some lacing behind in the glass.
S- Very sugary. Smells like raspberry flavored candy. Bready malt smell is also detectable.
T- Initial taste is a dry, clean raspberry taste. Bread and hints of raspberry linger in the back of the palate. Suprisingly hints of alcohol are there too. Overall taste is pretty light.
P- Medium carbonation and light body.
O- This is a decent example of a fruit beer. I would drink it again. Great on a hot summer day. I probably wouldn’t session it; but ti would be a good break from a session.

2.5Some of the worst color I’ve ever seen in a beer and a nose that is equally unique if not as bad. The flavor is ok if rather underwhelming.
2.1Pour is a peach color with almost no head. Aroma is raspberry and not much else. Flavor is less fruity than the aroma and kind of sour in the end. Might be good with Thanksgiving dinner but for for a sample its pretty poor.
2.1Gold with a white head. Aromas of sugar, raspberry and wheat. Decent on the palate with a raspberry flavor along with wheat and a sugary finish.
2.112oz bottle. Pours a weird slightly murky translucent pinkish peach color with a medium thick foamy white froth. Big raspberry aroma, but it’s like raspberry hard candy, floral, botanical, creamy vanilla, raspberries and cream. Flavor follows but is way more artificial tasting, lots vanilla that is weird with all the floral notes, potpourri, a bit spicy, plastic, light tart raspberries but mostly overwhelmed by the creamy vanilla. Medium/light bodied, thin with lots of lively carbonation.
2.3Bottle. Lots of vanilla flavor. Minimal aroma of vanilla, and cherry extract. Sweet, but not one I’ll try again.
2.4Sampled at Lundeen’s Brew Ha-Ha 2009. Pours a pink-orange color with a small white head that leave some low amounts of lacing. Aroma has some light grainy notes and raspberry syrup. Flavor has a light clove note, very light malt note and all the rest is raspberry. Very light body with a thin texture and high carbonation. The color of the brew is not really a natural color with the flavor not cloying but is very pronounced of raspberry.
3.4Beautiful fruity raspberry scent. Clear orangy copper in color. Very clean berry taste with a slight malt aftertaste. Overall, it’s not as sweet as I expected... deliciously smooth.
2.8Generally disappointed compared to other raspberry beers. Big malt with little tang or fruit. Others are definitely better.
1.5The only thing fruit-like about this beer is its name. 3.9%ABV, anemic color, and horrid flavor. This is as bad a beer as I’ve had in a long time. Skip this one at all costs.
2.9Bottle, courtesy of Metzger. Light pink pour. Light raspberry, citrus wit nose. Flavor is fruity, almost toying, artifical. Drinkable. Nice deck beer
2.912oz bottle 7/13/09 (Siciliano’s Market-Grand Rapids)-Pours a clear pink with a small loose white head. Aroma of raspberryand more raspberry. Taste of the same with more sweetness. This light bodied brew would be quite refreshing on a hot summer day.
2.9From a 12 oz bottle courtesy of a trade with Erik of Indiana, this poured a clear pink with a white head. Light lacing. Nose of raspberry and citrus. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is more like a wine cooler than a beer, and the finish is light and sweet. Despite all of this it was quite drinkable and refreshing.
2.3I swear this stuff was pink. It is okay, but man it is sweet and very VERY raspberry. Kinda hard to take after the first bottle...it is what it is...
2.1(12oz bottle, courtesy of Swalden28) Pours a clear pink rose colored body with a spare white head. Aroma of corn syrup, wheat, sulfur, and raspberries. Flavor of firework fumes, wheat, and raspberry flavoring with a somewhat bitter finish.
2.3Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a light clear amber with fast fading white fizzy head. Aroma of raspberry kool aid and some malt. Flavor is very child like, raspberry kool aid with signs of malt. Mouth feel is light body with high carbonation. Overall, taste of raspberry syrup in a light beer....
