2.9Pours with a frothy head like capuchino. Nose is fruity. Notes of mango some grass and a bit of wet cardboard. Taste is light bitter light sweet. Medium to light body with medium carbonation.
3.4Poured from 12 oz. bottle (that I discovered hiding in the back of the refrigerator 4 months after purchase).
Clear, golden amber with an off-white head and very good lacing.
Aroma of caramel, orange, floral hops, bread and tropical fruit.
Taste of citrus, caramel, bitter floral hops and tropical fruit.
Medium body and medium/low carbonization.
3.1Pours hazy orange with aroma of grapefruit and citrus. Overall spicy notes throughout a medium sweetness and crisp finish. A very good average IPA but not amazing.
3.5Bottle shared at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Pours orange to brown with a nice head, aroma of pomelo, kiwi and malt, flavor is bitter with kiwi and malt, pleasant, medium bodied
3.1Bottle sample at a tasting at our place. Thanks zvikar. Hazy golden with white foam. Fruity, soapy aroma, bitter and also soapy taste. Medium body, slightly floral finish, carbonated.
2.5Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks zvikar. Hazy dark orange-amber with an off-white head. Aroma of stale hops, slightly fruity and soapy, and a bit of malt. Flavor has a bit of sweetish malt, mild fruitiness and hops bitterness, slightly stale, slightly soapy. Medium-bodied.
3.2From bottle. Floral taste up front, bitter hoppy finish. Floral start dominates but in a good way. Ok at best.
3.0The beer pored to a light amber or dark golden color. The aroma was slightly sweet with a piney scent to it. The flavor was slightly sweet with a mild hop flavor to it.
3.112oz bottle, thanks to Casey. Mostly clear golden orange color. Thin off-white head. Few splotches of lace. More malt forward - caramel malt, some biscuit. Lightly spicy, light cream. Bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Lightly sticky in the finish. Moderate sweet taste, lighter bitter. Alright IPA... good flavor. Just a little sweet and malt-forward
3.3Aroma is citrus and mild vegetable notes. The flavor is citrus, very light hop resin notes, malts and a low and long bitter finish. Wasn’t bad but something about it seems like it could have been a little better.
3.1Aroma is some cascade hops and glue. This has some toffee and Pilsen maltiness but a funky super glue taste that the hops manage to peak through.
3.8How many people can say that they kicked a keg in a college class? One for sure is this guy. The year was 1999, the class was Syracuse University Wine and Beer Appreciate the beer was this one on cask. I remember the night well, it was a fall Thursday, still relatively warm out. We sampled this one first, then as the class came up to sample the next beer, we were invited to take a second pull off the cask. Two became three and three became 4. At the end of the class, a few of us were milling about and the owner of the brewery said "I am taking this cask back downtown, either it still has beer in it, or it’s empty." I didn’t need to hear anything else. Okay, now to the rating (my memory is a bit hazy as it’s been 13 years and a bunch of beers). English style, murky amber. Notes of bread and biscuit. Flavor is much the same. I wish this brewery had distribution outside of NYS, can’t get it here in Maryland.
3.3on tap pours murky golden amber with small crater rock off white head. nose of grass and cereals. Solid malt base provides back bone for grass and slight citrus. Body leans a bit thin but good none the less.
3.1Bottle thanks to BlackIPA. Clear amber with a big off-white head. Aroma is grassy hops, with some cereal malt. Taste is a good amount of grain, but with some good bitterness. Finish is bitter. Medium bodied, well carbonated. It’s ok.
2.6Poured into a snifter.
3.5 A: Clear medium orange color. One and a half fingers of frothy off-white head. Retention is about average and a decent sized ring of lacing is left.
3.0 S: Floral and grassy hops with a touch of citrus thrown in. Clean with a light neutral maltiness. Not bad, but nothing stands out.
3.0 T: Floral, grassy, and earthy hop flavor. Bready maltiness, but overall clean. Moderate to heavy moderate bitterness. Again, it’s just average.
3.0 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Lacking creaminess, but okay.
3.0 D: About as average as it can get. Not bad with nothing standing out or disappointing.

2.6Poured from the 12oz bottle. Aromas of stale grassy hops, some citrus. Fuck. This was made in Syracuse. First sip reveals a strong malt backbone, English style, with some bitter astringent finish. Not really terrible, but does not come close to approaching greatness. I repeat, this was made in Syracuse.
3.5Bottle. Pours a orange with white head. Tastes smells of malt orange citrus hops. Sweet to start off mild bitterness end. Fresh nice mixture of taste. Not a hop bomb which is refreshing and nice. Good solid beer.
3.4Slightly cloudy hazy orange with small off white head. Aroma is mostly citrus hops and a bit of pine. Medium body, easy to drink. Flavor is like the aroma, mostly citrus hops, mild-moderate bitterness, a little malt but mostly hoppy. Good IPA.
3.3Citrus leaning IPA aroma, mainly grapefruit. Almost opaque orange, some good tan head. Flavor is transitions from bitter to bittersweet, then back. Especially dry at finish, otherwise pretty flush for something this bitter. Nice beer, cheeky name.
2.3Draught at dinosaur bbq. Floral toasty grass aroma with an acrid sweer element on this dark yellow beer. A toasty sweet malt dominates. The acrid aspect continues into a lemony cool but too mono dimensionally bitter finish. Would not drink again.
3.1My wife brought this back from a trip to Rochester. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange-amber color with a huge foamy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was grapefruit, lemon and a touch of caramel. The flavor was tangy and tart lemon, orange and grapefruit with undertones of bread and pepper. Medium finish. Medium body but a bit overcarbonated.
2.8Tap @ Chapter House, Ithaca. Clear, burnt orange appearance with a cream colored head with good lacing. Soft, earthy, orange citrus hoppy aroma. Bitter, creamy, toasty, soapy/floral, dull citrusy hoppy flavor.
4.112 oz bottle, pours copper with lively carbonation, hints of vanilla and citrus. A very flavorful IPA with a rich taste.
3.1Smells funny. A little vanilla like with some heavy malts. Weird Ipa. Strange name too!
2.5Bottle poured a clear orange amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of butterscotch, bread, earthiness and a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, light grapefruit and a hint of butterscotch with a crisp moderatly bitter finish. Highly disappointing!
3.1Pours a dark golden with a big frothy white head. Aroma is a deep pine hop and sharp malts. Taste is big bitterness and small malt. I found it slightly off balance and over the top on the bitterness. Once your palate becomes fatigued, it becomes better.
3.8Bottle- Pours a hazy deep copper color with a good head that fades slowly tolots of lacing. Fairly mild aroma of citrus with a bit of sweet fruit and hint of spice. Taste is a nice tangy bite upfront with citrus, some caramenl sweetness with a nice bitterness through to a dry finish. Medium body, crisp and refreshing. Very good balance. Good IPA, not overly hopped, really hits the spot.
3.6amber color. head is quite nice. 2, 3 finger foam. egg white soft peak like.
aroma has some citrusy piney notes. not very aromatic overall
malty biscuity flavors are prominent. some hops.
medium carbonation
overall it’s not bad. wouldn’t mind drinking this end after end, but it’s rather subdued in flavors.
2.6Bottle to glass mug. Pours a hazy copper / yellow color with an off white head that lingers, and good lacing. Pretty plain IPA flavors. Some hop bitterness, but not too much. A little too plain for me.
3.7Bottle. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Grapefruit and pine aroma with light tropical fruit. Grapefruit and light tropical fruit flavor with pine. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and tropical fruit lingers with pine and light caramel.
