4.5Very nice IPA. Beautiful hazy amber color. Medium foam. A gentle, light bitterness. Floral, citrus and caramel tones. Bought at Barley Wine in Copenhagen.
4.1Really nice IPA. Light in color and frothy head. Slight citrus and pine. Refreshing. A little pricey to drink too often, but glad I tried.
3.8Bottled. Overall a great IPA by Mikkeller. Mild, hoppy, fruity a bit. Nothing wow, but a gentleman style noble IPA. Exactly my style.
3.2Pours a cloudy golden color with a short white head. The nose is sweet citrus and toasted malt. Plastic is noted among the light caramel and citrus flavors.
3.9Piwo o bursztynowej, zmetnionej barwie z obfita, dlugo utrzymujaca sie piana. Wysycenie srednie. Aromat bogaty, amerykanskie chmiele robia robote. Cytrusy, owoce tropikalne, zywica. Wyczuwalny aromat alkoholowy, przyjemny. W smaku slodowe, slodkie. Alkohol i chmiel delikatnie wyczuwalny. Goryczka srednia do niskiej. Warto spróbowac, bardzo udane piwo.
4.49/V/14 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 5/II/16 (2014-492)
Clear red amber beer, big frothy yellow head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: piny, lots of citrus, grapefruit, bit floral. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malty start, caramel, vit sugary, very fruity, citrus, some exotic fruits, grapefruit, pretty sour touch. Aftertaste: very fruity, grassy hops, sweet exotic fruits, pineapple, passion fruits. Yes, I want MORE!
4.0Bottle at home. Pours dark caramel with off white head. Smells of grapefruit, mango and citrus. The taste is quite bitter, but with medium to full body that is well balanced. Starting to regret only buying one of these.. Good IPA!
4.7Pours a clear dark blond beer with a big white foamy stable head. Slightly carbonated.
Smells really fresh, fruity and floral. Hints of lychee’s and grapefruit.
Tastes bitter.
The aroma has a lot of the fruit in it.
Leaves a nice gentle bitter palate that doesn’t linger for to long. Big mouth feel.
Really great brew.
3.5Clear amber, slightly off white head. Smells of light malt and fruity hops, good IPA taste avoiding the fruit juice effect. Very good resinous aftertaste.
4.2Barwa: bursztynowa, lekko zmętniona. Piana biała, dość obfita, drobno pęcherzykowa, utrzymująca się i ładnie oblepiająca szkło. Wysycenie średnie do wysokiego.
Aromat: zdecydowanie chmielowy - praktycznie wszystko co może nam zaoferować chmiel: cytrusy, ananas, mango, żywica, zioła, kwiaty. Doskonały, jedynie lekko alkoholowy.
Smak: słodowy, dosyć słodki i pełny. Wyczuwalna chmielowa kontra, goryczka nieco powyżej średniej, niezalegająca (przy czym odczucie goryczy rośnie w miarę degustacji i utlenienia). Pozostająca przyjemna owocowość i lekka nuta alkoholowa.
Mikkeller nadal w formie.
Deep amber, thick white head. Grapefruity aroma, also some berries, quite stuffy beer overall, hard to drink. Berries in flavor as well, as well as strong bitterness and citrusy notes. Generic.

3.633 cl bottle @ 6.9%. Amber hazy colour with huge head. Bitter taste with grapefruit and bitter citrus. Medium body. Good but not great.
2.9Cervesa molt aromàtica i amarga, és molt afruitada.
Cerveza muy aromática y amarga, es muy frutada.
3.5From tap @ Animal bar. Pours dark orange with a creamy white head. Aroma sweet, caramel, fruity, raspberry, hoppy. Flavor is heavy bitter with a long duration, hoppy.
2.3For so many hops its is not reaching anything besides eclectig chaos. Twisted bitter. Never again.
3.5On tap at Biercab. Copper colour with off-white head. Grass, citric aroma. Grass, resinous, citric taste, also malty. Medium body.
3.9One of Mikkeller’s great IPA’s. Very hoppy, yet also nicely fruity. Lovely beer.
3.7Backlog. Tried both the bottled version and the keg-variant a number of times. As announced, it’s a hop-bomb.
3.8Sharp bitterness on the finish but a beer that is well within my limits. Questionable storage methods could have influenced my rating
3.8Aroma: citrus fruits, very intense hops. Appearance: clear dark amber, small white head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: bitters coming up very quickly and getting very intense, dry long finish. Overall: very nice IPA, lovely hop aroma. Bottle at the Craft Beer Co. Clerkenwell, London.
4.2Nice beer. Interesting to get a European view of an American style. Aroma is earthy and pleasant, not floral like a true American IPA though. Taste is closer to a imperial IPA. Overall well made and worth a try.
3.5Murky brown body, head is piss yellow. Nice soft and malty aroma. Tingly carbonation but easy mouthfeel. Mild bitterness in the back of the mouth. Aftertaste is also bitter and lingers for a while. Mouthfeel in general is soft but somewhat weak.
Overall, it’s quite nice IPA but nothing special. It’s very drinkable and refreshing but if you’re looking for something special I’d probably skip this.
Imprescindible repetir.
4.0Hazy dark orange pour with a massive white frothy head. Aroma is citrus with light malt and some piney hop. Flavor is strong citrusy hop, great malt-to-hop balance. Finish is slightly dry with malt and hop and citrus lingering. Another perfectly balanced Mikkeller, from beginning to end.
3.1Orange/amber pour. So many hops in it that it is hard to distinguish them thus just a pronounced hop aroma. Good mouthfeel provided from the Munich Malt and a slight sweetness from the Cara. Quite bitter. Generally a nice beer of the American IPA style.
3.30,33 l bottle kindly provided by my wife. Pours a hazy orange body covered by a frothy off-white head. Subdued grassy piny nose. Bitter, fruity hop juice with a long finish. Medium to full body.
3.0Pours a deep orange with a huge white head that leaves lacing all the way down the glass.
Smells mostly of hops of citrus and pine variety.
Good citrusy hop character up front rounding into a slight malt sweetness and a very bitter pine finish. The finish is really a bit overpowering even for the style.
Mouthfeel is light-medium with good carbonation level.
Not bad, but nothing special either especially for a $5 12 oz. The lingering aftertaste is really what makes this one a bit iffy.
3.9Bottle. Copper hue, off-white frothy head and medium lacing. Delicious breakfast juice (grapefruit, passionfruit, banana, pawpaw, orange) aromas with a hint of biscuity malt at the end. Tiny glimpse of malt sweetness at the very front of the palate which leads into pine cone and oily resin. The malt returns in the mid palate, but it is interwoven with all the hops, creating a bitter caramel and long, dry finish. Well balanced meaning it isn't as bitter as it could be, which is a good thing. They've got it just right. My type of ipa. Classy beer.
