Mikkeller All Others Pale

Mikkeller All Others Pale

All Others Pale - as in ’All Others Pale By Comparison’ - is our cheeky take on an American tradition, but naturally with a Danish touch. It is a well-balanced, light-bodied thirst quencher, perfect after a hard day’s work or on hot summer days...but loads of fresh green hops and a subtle malty background make this pale ale the refreshing choice all year round!

Ingredients :
Water, malt (maris ottar pale, munich, carapils and caramunich), flaked oats, hops (simcoe, centennial, amarillo and nugget) and ale yeast

ABV around 5.9%

3.9 Caña 20cl en cervecería Kraken ( Oviedo ) Espuma blanca densa, color dorado, turbia, buen sabor algo amargo, buena cerveza
3.8 33 cl can. Pours a quite hazy, dark orange amber, thick off-white head, low carbonation. Aroma is crammed with juicy and fruity American hop flavours. Mouthfeel is medium, wetish and well carbonated. Taste is very pleasant. Fruity, citrusy and piny, very well balanced with the solid malty backbone.
3.4 On can from Vinmonopolet Norway, on order. Hazy golden color, good foam. Medium high aroma intensity; hops, some pine, fruitiness and grassy notes. Medium body & complexity, Solid bitterness, ok balance. Enjoyable
3.6 backlog, can and draft. Amber orange with a small but firm head. Aroma is pine, slight citrus. A bit malty with a bitter finish, nice pale.
3.1 Draft. Off-orange color with a off-white head. Aroma has peach, grapefruit and grass. Flavour has lots and lots of grassy, bitter hops, peach, pine, citrus peel. This has a lot of hops, too much for my liking, I could not get through a whole pint of this, but for people who like very bitter beers, this is quite a good choice.
3.8 Tap at lake and Irving. Copper gold with very thick white head. Very hoppy nose and taste. This is a classic hop heavy ipa, super solid. Still pretty one dimensional.
Bastante buena. Para repetir sin duda.
3.7 Can from Deconinck, Vichte - BE. Color: clear golden blond beer with small carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: sweet hoppy nose, fruity domination as mango and litchi. Very intensive fruity nose. Taste: medium body with high hoppy and fruity blast. Very intensive exotic fruits as mango, pineapple and litchi. Good attenuation and easy drinkable. Perfect realization. Aftertaste: wet bitterness and mango.
3.9 Tap at Le Senk, orange color with huge creamy white head. Aroma is fresh, fruity, grassy, piney with notes of tropical fruit, mango. Taste is citrusy, fruity with light sour notes, solid malty backbone, long citrusy bitter finish, lively carbonation, nice balanced, very good beer, refreshing and easy drinkable

3.8 Keg at Brewdog Manchester. A hazy amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of mango, orange, some grapefruit, slight pineapple, a little caramel and subtle pine. Taste of grapefruit, orange, mango, some lemon, a little pineapple, resin, slight caramel and subtle biscuit. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, crisp, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. A very good APA, great tropical fruit flavours balanced really well with resin and sweet malt. Could be a tad hoppier but still, very refreshing.
3.8 One of the better pales I’ve had recently. Nice mouthfeel gives a creamier texture to a very drinkable ale. Bitterness is pronounced but not tiring.
4.7 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Als ik mijn ogen toedoe, ben ik in Honoloeloe! During the Mikkeller event. Hazy orange, small white head. Nose is huge bright pine, zest, orang, very rich hop & fruit. 3.8 Čapované v Lokal Pube Nitra. Tmavšia farba, jemná biela pena, cukríková aróma. Stredná rezkost, plná chut, vyvážená horkost a sladová chut. Super.
3.7 Bottle. Pine, grapefruit, lemon, caramel. Nice malt profile and moderate bitterness. Bitter finish.
3.4 Bottle. Teku. Deep amber, medium hazy with white, medium, semi-densed head. Light tropical fruits (mainly pineapple) and citrus aroma. Taste is light bitter with light malty sweetness - that’s all. Light body, tthin texture, average carbonation, finish is light-sweet and light-bitter. In overall well balanced APA, reallly balance, but nothing that knocked me down.
3.9 Bonito aspecto, dorada anaranjada turbia con estupenda espuma. Aroma herbal, pino marcado. Final seco. Notable
4.0 Bottle. Pours is golden/light amber with medium white head. Aroma of pine, resin, light caramel, pineapple and lemon peel, inviting. Taste is light sweet, moderate bitter, pine, grapefruity and lemon notes. Medium body, soft carbonation, creamy texture. So far one of the best apa’s i’ve had in a while.
3.7 Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 10A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L2. AROMA: nice citrusy hop aroma with notes of pineapple, passionfruit and some pine. sweet malty background. APPEARANCE: orange/ambar color and hazy. average moussy ivory head with good retention. TASTE: citrusy hop flavour with notes similar to the aroma (pine, floral, a bit of pinneaple and passionfruit). balanced sweet malty background. medium bitterness with a semi-dry finish.
3.9 Bottle. Pour is dark golden with a orange hue, head is generous. Nose has the regular suspects like mangoes and grapefruit. Taste follows the nose with some light resin and a light bitterness. This is good stuff!
3.9 Draught @ BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Amber-orange haze, nice white head. Citrus fruity start, huge herby hop take-over. My wheelhouse.
3.6 Bottle to tulip Lots of spruce, grapefruit, caramel, and pine. Pours hazy amber with a 3 cm thick, long lasting, frothy head with moderate lacing. Taste is tropical fruit, spruce, pepper, and grapefruit. Nice long lasting bitter end.
