3.5bottle @ Amerasia / Covington KY --- Aroma of hoppy malt. Cloudy, dirty, medium amber color, ivory head that drops to a thick cover, strips of lace. Taste is yeasty malt with good fizz on the swallow. Pine hops do a takeover in the finish, but they aren’t as strong as some West Coast IPA’s I’ve sampled. Overall, a solid brew.
3.7Bottled. Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized white creamy head. Aroma is citrus, resin, some tropical fruits, nectar, mild honeylike notes as well as some slight sweet malts to it. Flavour is rather similar, but ends in a rather big floral and grassiness.
3.9Bottle.Hazy orange colour with small white head.Aroma is strong fruity of tropical fruits, most like pineappels and greapfruits, nice dry bitter mouthfeels and smooth carbonated and good long finish.
4.0Deep golden colour, big head that fades leaving a ring but not lace. Aroma of tropical fruits, resine, pine.Medium body, fizzy carbonation. Taste of tropical fruits, pine is present too, some citrus, peaches. Sweeter than expected, though the bitterness is there too.
4.1Hazy to cloudy yellow body, small white head. Citrus and grapefruit bomb! Incredible aroma. Citrus and pine taste, bittersweet, just great. Grapefruit and pine notes in the finish, not too bitter, medium long. Watery, soft carbonated. Thin, insanely drinkable and tasty IPA! //bottle at Craft Room
3.6Draft glass @ Gollem. Deep hazy orange, little white head. Nose is oddly sweet, sugar, sweet paper, neutral with low sweet hops, some fruity tropical qualities are present but basic sugary sweetness drowns them out. Taste is the same, there is pine resin, hay, low mango but neutral sweetness, candy & sweet orange peel drown them out. Neutral candy & sugar body. Too neutral, too sweet, doesn’t pop. Bit of a letdown put okay as neutral easy brew.
3.6Tap at Gollem. Pours bit unclear blonde. Small white head. Smell is Pine , tropical fruit. Bit bitter. Taste is Sharp, full bitterness. Tropical fruits. Very Nice, bit wattery though.
3.96.5%ABV. IPA.
Poured out gold. 8ºSRM.
Nose has ripe lemons and oranges. Bright citrus aromas predominate. Some pale malt sweetness in the nose.
Mouthfeel is watery. Palate has pale malt body with some floury, bready flavors. Hops are lemon zest with the same level of bitterness. Some spiciness suggesting mint or basil, very much like hyssop.
Finish is medium and on the light end of the bitterness spectrum. There is another leg at the very very end that blooms
Overall impression is that this is a light, easy drinking, pale malt based ale with some citrus, plenty of spice and herbaceously and refreshingly bitter.

3.9330 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 10/28/2017. Pours lightly hazy deep orange/amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good sized pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange rind, pine, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, sticky/resinous, and lightly grainy/creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice west coast IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
3.9330ml bottle at Beer Station, Xiamen. Pours hazy golden yellow with a white head. Aroma of pine, citrus and mango. Bitter finish.
3.7330ml bottle. Pours hazy golden color with large white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, resin, tropical fruits. Medium body with soft carbonation. Taste starts sweet with bitter finish.
3.5Bottle from Beers’n’more. A refreshing, slightly tropical IPA. Very well balanced between bitterness, sweetness, hoppy passionfruit and mango aroma. Well done, but not outstanding.
3.5aroma is of grape some fruit. flavor is grape, citrus and some hopps. sweet start with a bitter finish. pours cloudy copper with a thick cream head. i wouldnt call this west coast style...
3.0Another IPA from Mikkeller, with a nice name and label. Just tastes like another Mikkeller IPA, nothing less, nothing more. Once a rater tasted a beer, he is done with it? Well I prefer drinking a drinker’s beer than a rater’s beer.
4.433 cl bottle. Pours honey golden white loose head but good retention. Nose is fruity, grape, orange. Taste is also fruity grape, orange, citrus, flowery notes. Balanced not to dominating bitterness.
4.0Hazy orange color with big lasting head. Aroma is fruity, hops. Flavor is fruits, hops, long lasting bitter finish.
3.5Bottle 0.33l at Majstor za pivo Belgrade Serbia. Taste with Ogi.21.12.2015.Pour it hazy orange color with medium white head.Aroma lemon and orange.Taste fruity, some spoiled not so fresh end, but ok decent.
3.7West coast style IPA. Lovely and long hoppiness. Wonderful colour, solid aroma though thinner than actual flavour. After taste rich and full.
3.6Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color. Aroma and taste are tropical fruits with some malts.
4.2Nice mix of exotic aromas, herbs, spice and hops. Amazing execution of the maybe sometimes too similar IPA style beers. This one is definitely a proud individually crafted one. Cheers to Amass and Mikkeller!
3.6(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 12 Dec 2015) Hazy amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus, grapefruit, mandarin and orange peel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, mandarin, passion-fruit and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty IPA with a fresh and generous hop character. Nice one.
3.9Hoppy, Fruity, Really nice carbonation!
Not much aroma, but the taste is a really refreshing west coat ipa!
4.1330 ml bottle. Hazy orange colour with medium sized white head. Tropical storm in taste. I love this weast coast style beers. Citrus fruits, really refreshing. Taste of mango, maracuj, lemon, great balance in sweet and bitterness. Citrus hops.Soft carbonation. Light bitter aftertaste. Great beer.
3.6330ml bottle from Gallagher’s Beer World/El Irlandés. Pours a hazy dark orange color with a medium white creamy head that diminishes slowly and leaves a thin cap. Aroma is hoppy, fruity and quite intense. Notes of pineapple, guava, mango purée, green apples, passionfruit and citrus. Very nice. Taste is bitter, astringent, pungent. Almost zero sweetness with dense citrusy notes, herbal bitterness, some quinine, lime, lemon and yuzu. The herbs prevail in the end giving it a strong lemongrass character. Really bitter, but a little bit one-dimensional. Refreshing, light to medium body. High carbonation. After the finish the aftertaste is quite subdued. Zero alcoholic presence. Overall this is a good herbal-citrusy, highly bitter IPA that’s tightly focused and a little bit claustrophobic in it’s bitterness.
4.0Bottle. Hazy peach-like color with huge steady head. Aroma of pine, tropical fruits. Taste is well balanced: great load of bitter hops, but bitterness is not rough. Finish is dry and very long. Nice IPA.
3.8On bottle from Kioskh, Copenhagen. Hazy golden color, good foam. Medium aroma intensity;hops, tropical fruits, citrus- smooth! Medium body & complexity. Good bitterness and balance, Very enjoyable
3.4330 ml bottle at GH. Hazy golden with white head. Aroma malty, slight fruity, tropical fruit, melon. Taste is malty, balanced, tropical fruit, mango, melon with fairly low bitterness
4.0Fresca, profumata, agrumata e "croccante"; una IPA dolciastra e resinosa con note dissetanti e setose. Buona e rinfrancante, alla spina é più "piena".
3.3Bottle @ gambrinus, Tartu. Pours hazy golden with yellow sticky head. Aroma: pine, tropicalfruits, caramel. Taste: citrus, pine, bitter with some sourish notes.A bit watery body.
