4.2 Can from Geers, Oostakker. Pours cloudy black with a slowly thinning, frothy, dark beige head. Strong aroma of brownie dough, milk chocolate, vanilla, brown sugar, cashew, meringue, biscuit, mocha with sugar. Taste is a thick chocolatey & biscuity sweet profile with a creamy vanilla undertone, somewhat herbal & toasty bitter & very faintly umami soy-like. Dry, toasty, herbal hoppy finish, lingering bitter pure dark chocolate, biscuit & nicely warming whisky alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Delivers exactly what it promises; sweet & chocolatey without turning into a pastry Stout, never letting go of the distinctive 'Stoutness'.
Corpo pieno e bassa carbonazione. Deliziosa.
4.0 Strong mud cake aroma. Very boozy dark chocolate bitter taste with huge full and creamy body. Aftertaste lasts forever.
3.7 Bottle - pours dark brown - nose/taste of toasted chocolate malt, coffee, milk chocolate - medium bodied
4.0 330ml can. Thick dark brown with a miniscule tan head. Şweet anima, chocolate aroma, flavour is similar with a boozy sting in the tail. Lovely
4.0 This is everything I want in a beer. It's rich and smooth, malty chocolate and coffee and dried fruit. Beautiful stuff.
3.9 Burk i uterummet med P.N. Doftar mycket 70% choklad.
4.3 Can. Has a deep reddish brown to black colour with a compact light beige head. Aroma with lots of chocolate, cocoa, leather, Baileys, nougat and coffee mocca. Hint of cinnamon. Flavour of chocolate truffles, leather, oak, liqour and roasted coffee. Has a soft mouth feel, full-bodied and light to medium bitterness. Rich and filled With chocolate.
3.6 Nice cocoa and perfumy chocolate notes. Jet brown with almost no head. Semi sweet chocolate and cocoa with some nice toast. Solid.
3.9 Can, big thick dark brown head, pitch darkest brown color, aroma of cocoa, chocolate cake and some vanila, flavor of cocoa, dark intense chocolate, some mud, oily mouthfeel, sweet and mellow, beautifully balanced. Highly enjoyable.
4.0 Black colour with a huge brown head. Raosted malts, plenty of cocoa, milk chocolate, coffee, sweetish, medium carbonation, very good.
3.8 Lata de @Vivalabirra, Oviedo. 10/10/19 Color negro opaco corona de espuma beige, aromas tostados, sabor torrefacto, café, cacao, ligera vainilla, cuerpo denso.
4.3 330 ml can. Pours a reddish black with full foamy tan head. Aromas of rich chocolate syrup, vanilla, cream and slick toasted malts. Rich flavors follow same - creamy dark chocolate. Beer? I don’t know. Desert? You bet. Worth the premium price? For one yes; for more no.

3.5 Black. Brown head, two fingers, decent retention. Difficult to see the carbonation through the darkness. Creamy texture, heavy at the beginning. Aroma is roasted malts, cocoa, sugar, soft booze. Taste is chocolate cookie, sugar, molasses, vanilla ice cream hints, maple syrup, cinnamon hints. Sweet with a bittersweet finish. Alcohol relatively well integrated, it shows a little bit. Intense and well done but... After a few sips, it's really tiring.
4.7 Really nice - not too alcohol-y in flavor, vanilla & malt dominate.
4.2 Can. Opaque black with creamy brown head. The aroma has notes of coffee, vanilla, chocolate cake, mocha, alcohol. The flavor is sweet and mild bitter with notes of coffee, vanilla, mocha, milk chocolate, chocolate cake, some soy sauce, rum, alcohol, very oily. Smooth and full-bodied. Excellent.
4.0 Canned 330ml. -at Valhalla Zagreb. Pitch black oily coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate and alcohol in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa powder, alcohol and vanilla with again chocolate and alcohol in the finish. Bit too sweet but enjoyable. 12.0%
3.9 33 cl bottle poured in to a Snifter. BBE September 2020. Near black with a few tanned bubbles on top. Sweet aroma with cocoa, caramel malts, coffee, brown cookies, liquorice, vanilla and a herbal bitterness. Taste is sweet. Full bodied. Drying roasted finish with cocoa, vanilla and dark malts. Excellent nightcap.
4.0 330ml can at Alex's. 22% ABV. Says IS brewed with vanilla and cocoa beans. No coffee mentioned in the ingredients. Appearance: very dark brown with the same head. Aroma: vanilla and chocolate, really similar to the "just" vanilla shake. Taste: on the chocolate side with some vanilla and bitterness. Overall: good.
4.1 33 cl can at Mikkeller Madrid, stated at 12%. So dark a shade of brown one could swear it's pitch black, with a minimal tan head that lasts but an instant. Very intense and clear aromas of coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla; there's also a hint of marshmallow. Creamy and silky yet noticeably boozy (12%, people!) and super bitter, even though there's acidity in the mix balancing things off. You get your sweetness only after sipping, along a lot more roasty bitterness that never leaves: super persistent. Not for the faint-hearted, but deffinitely for the stout-lovers.
4.4 7 hours transit in an airport with a Mikkeller bar are too dangerous. Especially when they have 20 taps and over 200 cans or bottles. Evil! This doesn't spoil the Beer Geek series: jet black, small brown head with sticky lacing. Strong chocolate to the nose, sweet and sticky, smooth, strong on vanilla, cocoa and indulgence. Full bodied, feels like caramelised sugar. Awesome!
4.3 Plechovka.Pena vysoka, kremova rychlejsie spadla. Pekny cokoladovy shake!!!!!!!
4.1 Pitch dark pour. Vanilla and chocolate nose. Malty, thick mouthfeel, awesome vanilla sweetness with bitter cacao notes. Number 1000!!
3.8 Black with a minimal light brown head. Aroma of vanilla, cocoa and sense of corn. Sweet with a good vanilla and cocoa end.
3.2 Draught, half pint. @«Artbeerfest 2019», Caminha (Portugal). 12/07/2019. Oily black colour with a medium tan head. Aroma is bourbon, oak barrels, vanilla anderror black chocolate. Taste is big bourbon, vanilla and molasses. Oily and thick. Big boozy. Good for a sip, not for a pint. Next one please!
3.9 Pite ze świeżej warki z puszki 330 ml. Nalewa się smoliste, gęste, czarne i nieprzejrzyste. Aromat kojarzący mi się trochę z naszą rodzimą produkcją z Czarnej Owcy, czyli KKO. Bardzo kakaowe, czekolada, pralinki. Dalej też paloność. Wanilia kompletnie niewyczuwalna.
3.8 Can from Mikkeller Beer Mail. Pours pitch black color with really short tan head. Aroma of vanilla, cacao, chocolate, moderately roasted malts, coffee, toffee and coffee. Really intense sweet aroma and taste, mostly vanilla, cocoa and chocolate. Not boozy, but balancing amount of bitterness and some alcohol. Sweet aftertaste.
