4.0 Czarne. Piana szybko opada do koronki. W aromacie wanilia, czekolada i syrop klonowy... innymi słowy produkt zgodny z zamówieniem :-) w smaku slodko, czekoladowo.w tle przebija alko. Gladkie, pełne, niskie wysycenie.

2.3 Tried at the Euston tsp. Jet black colour with a tan head. Full on maple sweet. Then more sweet. Very thick oily body.

4.0 33cl Fles. Gitzwart, bruine kraag. Dikke ahornsiroop in de geur, veel bruine suiker, wat vanille. Smaak is behoorlijk zoet, bruine suiker en ahornsiroop, chocolade, iets geroosterde smaken, hint van koffie, bitterzoete finish. Volle body. Niet de beste in de serie maar wel weer een erg lekker toetje.

4.3 Aroma: Loads of maple syrup and vanilla. Chocolate, yoghurt, caramel, coconut, coffee. Appearance: Opaque black, dexent white head. Taste: Bitter, sweet, well balanced. Palate: Full body, average carbonation. Overall: Very tasty. Maple syrup with vanilla on top of nice, chocolatey stout.

4.7 En copa, cerveza totalmente negra, espesa cual aceite de motor, con una generosa capa de espuma color toffee. Aroma muy intenso a café torrefacto, chocolate negro, vainilla, caramelo (sirope de arce), brownie, frutos secos como avellana, mucha leche y un toque de canela. En boca, textura altamente oleosa, de carbonatación muy baja, sedosa al paladar y amargor a chocolate negro. Sabor a chocolate negro y café espresso, junto con vainilla, sirope de arce, avellanas, crema de leche, canela, brownie y bizcocho. Aroma ligeramente ahumado tras el trago. Una Imperial Stout que es todo un postre líquido. La serie Beer Geek de Mikkeller nunca defrauda, una cerveza realmente espectacular. Muy compleja y difícil de catar. Sólamente para paladares experimentados.

4.0 Nieco zbyt obfita i grubppęcherzykowa piana, ale ma piękny ciemny odcień. Barwa nieprzejrzysta, ciemna. W aromacie wanilia, nuty palone, dużo kakao i kawy. W smaku słodkie, z wyraźnym deserowym posmakiem (ciasto czekoladowe, kawa). Bardzo wyraźna paloność, trochę nut mlecznych. Przyjemnie zbalansowane, delikatnie zbyt słodkie, ale taki styl. Ta palonośc zdecydowanie daje super kontrę.

AROMA: medium-high maple and vanilla aroma. faint background coffee, nutty and low alcohol (vinous-like). APPEARANCE: very dark brown color and opaque. medium brown head, creamy, with average retention. lace formation. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-high vanilla, maple syrup, low coffee, faint roasted malt and nuts. medium-low bitterness with an initial sweet profile, tending to semi-sweet. finishes semi-sweet. PALATE: medium-high body and creamy. medium carbonation. smooth alcohol warmth. OVERALL: the adjuncts mask the base beer, rendering it unbalanced.

4.2 A black, viscosity, a head is medium, dense and brown. Aroma has maltyness of caramel and sweetness, salt liquorice, vanilla, strenght. Great aroma. Taste has richness of malts, caramel, salt liquorice, also bitterness, some vanilla. Full bodied, mils stickyness. Powerful and great beer.

4.0 Аромат ванильный, но не сильно яркий или сладкий. Какая то нотка на какой то сироп, но не особо знакомый, немного шоколадный, зерна от кофе. Цвет черный, тонкая пенка кофейная. Вкус я думал будет интереснее. Много шоколада и зерен от кофе, немного ванили, при глотке лишь нотки от сладкого сиропа и карамели. Немного черного шоколада с горчинкой, от хмеля весьма сильная горчинка. Но в целом ожидал большего.

4.2 (11.8% ABV) Svart med tjockt, brunt skum. söt doft av vanilj, kaffe och choklad. Tjock, sötklibbig smak av choklad, vanilj, lönnsirap och lakrits. Spritvarm finish. God, men mäktig.

4.4 Oh yeah!! This one is a cracker! Superbalance between maple and coffee, two layerd taste course, first you have a sweet experience and after a second or two a perfectly sobering bitter coffee tone and the taste lasts a long time!

4.3 Pours opaque coffee with a thin buff head. Aroma provides maple syrup, roast malt and subtle vanilla notes. Flavor delivers maple syrup, roast malt, vanilla, and a hint of woody hops. Texture yields viscous body and peppy fizz. Shake up your maple and vanilla.

3.8 On tap in PDX. Pours a pitch black hue with a medium dark brown head. A big coffee and super sweet nose. Rich, toffee, maple, syrup for sure. The sweetness is over the top, balanced only by big coffee. Solid. Great palate.

3.9 0.33 l bottle from 'Ace Drinks', best before May 2027, cellared for about one-and-a-half years. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, light brown head. Intensely sweetish, malty, gently roasty and a little powdery aroma of praline, vanilla, coffee and lactose. Very sweet, malty, gently roasty taste of praline, vanilla, coffee, lactose and maple syrup, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, slightly powdery finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite tasty but very sweet, has an artificial touch as well. A little disappointing, maybe already too old?

3.9 Black colored beer with almost no head. Taste is dark chocolate, maple syrup,coffee, wood, bourbon and vanilla. Big body, boozy.

3.8 Aromas of vanilla maple bourbon oak diesel motor oil roasted barley roasted malts and tree sap. Pours black as night. Taste is aggressive chocolate cocoa nibs tree bark maple licorice raisin bourbon malted barley caramel oak toffee and alcohol sugars. Overall, quite boozy and assertively flavored.

4.3 Holy cow, this is amazing. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, vanilla, maple, soy, molasses, and clove. Taste is cinnamon, dark chocolate, clove, maple syrup, toasted malt, cigarette ash, caramel, a little booze. Big beer.

3.9 W smaku bardzo gładkie, dużo ciała, alkohol mało wyczuwalny, całkiem pijalne jak na taki woltaż.

3.9 Black body nearly no brown head. Aroma is vanilla dark roasted malts caramel. Taste is malts vanilla maple sirup coffee molasses some dried fruits. Aftertaste is sweet malty slightly balanced by some dark roasted malts bitterrness and some alcohol in the background.

4.5 2017 Bottle at home from Grumpy Goat, 26th December 18. Pours a deep black beast of a beer, limited tan head. Aroma is heady, maple, bark, bean coffee. Taste is fabulous, complex and no where near as sweet as I imagined, it's raw maple, bitter, wood, vanilla infused maple syrup, biitter dark chocolate. This is a great imperial Stout, delicious sipping beer, by the fire.

4.1 Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Mikkeller Beer Geek Vanilla Maple Shake ]. Clear dark black black colour with a large, creamy - frothy, excellent lacing, fully lasting, brown to light brown head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, maple, chocolate, dark chocolate, maple syrup, vanilla, alcohol. Flavor is light heavy sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long long duration, malt bitter - maple bitter, sugary sweet, caramelized malt - caramelized maple syrup, alcohol, dark malt, sweet dark malt. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20181203] 8-5-8-4-16

4.0 Bottle. Pours motor oil black with a small light brown head. Aroma of roasted coffee, maple syrup, chocolate, and vanilla. Flavor was sweet and full bodied with maple syrup, vanilla, chocolate, caramel and coffee. A well balanced and exquisite stout.

3.9 Inky deep black pour with a thin dark tan head. Rich sweet earthy maple aromas with a load of vanilla and coffee and dark boozy sweet chocolate. Rich giant body with notes of earthy black malt roast, herbal and earthy maple syrup, sweet vanilla, bitter dark coffee, and a smokey somewhat acrid finish. Lingering maple and coffee touches. A little much in every direction to be honest.

4.3 Appearance is midnight black, inky, a tiny ring of beige bubbles. Aroma- chocolate, tiramisu, rich chocolate torte, leather, espresso coffee, maple syrup, chocolate fudge, hints of dark fruit and plums, dark charred malt. Taste- chocolate, vanilla hints, dark rum hints, maple syrup, whisky fudge, charred malt, bitter chocolate, boozy notes, oily mouthfeel, vanilla ice cream, rich chocolate. More maple syrup on the end. Yum.
