3.8 Roasted notes, coffee hints, very dark brown with a good brown head, medium body, good carbonation, taste is similar with some notes of figs...quite good.
3.9 Bottle shared at a tasting at avrashi’s place. Bought in Athens. Black with a big tan head. A little spicy, roasty aroma, some raisins. Mildly roasty and bitter taste, some figs. Mild fizz, full body, long fruity finish with mild notes of figs.
4.2 On tap. Black color, tan head. Aroma of figs is apparent, molasses in background. Heavy sweet, good.
3.9 On tap at the Foundry... the day after their King Gambrinus celebration of Euro brews including Cantillon. Very black pour, very dense indeed. Aroma is roasty, toasty, malty, figalicious. The flavor is darkly mysterious, a mix of malt, caramel, dark fruits, faint licorice and slight bitterness. I won’t be seeking this out but was quite contented to enjoy a glass.
3.8 September 22, 2015 - at BrewDog Clapham Junction - 330ml bottle. With theydon_bois, lagerloather and JerCraigs. Figs, eh? Black pour, foamy tan head. Aroma is deep nutty roast, some coffee/chocolate, but mostly nutmeat with background sweet lush fruit - guess that’s the fig - it adds some sweetness anyway. The fig really emerges clearly in the taste, but what coffee/chocolate there was in the aroma fades back - this is mostly nutty light roast and fresh sweet fig, some bitterness and alcohol. Slick, mild carbonation, tart fruit, mineral bite and a re-emergence of cocoa in the aftertaste. Nice.
3.7 11.2 oz. bottle. pours almost black with a fizzy tan head. Aroma of dark malts, stone fruit and chocolate. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate, earthy, fig notes. Hints of smoke. Mildly sweet finish. Good.
4.0 0.33 l bottle from Svijet piva, Zagreb. Shared with Višnja 666 and Tanja 669. Dark brown, lasting off-white head. Medium to heavy roasty some dry fruits and some peat. Dry, nice balance with some fruity sweetness. Medium to full body, medium carbonation, lasting finish uncovers those dried figs! Alcohol hidden, soft but full body, very silky and smooth, great!
3.5 Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of roast, chocolate, dark stone fruit. Taste is light sweet, roasted bitter. Yep, get the figs. Light sweet finish
3.6 330ml bottle, best before 2019-01-13. Pour pitch black with brown reflexions. Minimal and last small tan foam. Aroma of roasted sweet malt and dark fruit with ethanol notes. Taste is of coffee, chocolat and residual sugar. High carbonation for the style. Oily and creamy with long rich finish.
(Rating #7249)

3.4 Bottle shared at a tasting at zvsn’s place. Deep brownish-amber with brownish head. The aroma has notes of sweet fruits, figs and chocolate. Sweet flavor with notes of syrup, dark chocolate, some roastiness, dried fruits, sourish, slightly dry. Medium-bodied.
3.8 Huge thanks veceo for sharing! Poured a murky dark brown blackish body with a tan head. Intensive, creamy aroma, got figs immediately (before reading the ingredients - ha!), soft fruity cherry notes, honey, quite pleasant and soft. Light, soft juicy taste, figs and cherries again, quite delicate and lovely, not revealing its strength. Filing this under "very interesting", not a world beater, but really glad to have tried it!
3.9 Bottle Appearance: completely dark, small dark beige head Aroma: something sweet(a bit resembling cough syrup, but only at the begging), dark notes - dark bread and dark chocolate Taste: very pleasant, dark chocolate, dark brad, some rosin, fruit sweet finish- probably because of figs The mouthfeel was great; the body is very full. The alcohol is concealed quite well and very weak notes of it are possible to spot but not unpleasant.
3.7 Bottle shared at a tasting. Pours deep brown with reddish hues and beige head. Aroma of prunes, licorice, figs and chocolate. Sweet, milk chocolate, prunes, coffee, boozy and bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Smooth.
3.5 At a tasting, thanks, smallish creamy head, opaque black color, aroma ofchocolate with some dark fruits, and mineral notes, flavor of chocolate with dried figs and dates and dark bread, suprisingly light. Really nice and enjoyable.
3.7 Tap at cbc16, copenhagen. Black color, brown head. Aroma has roasted malts, coffee, chocolate notes, some sweet fruity notes. Nice body, sweet fruity notes, chocolate, coffee.
3.6 interesting beer - big roast and bitterness, a touch more abrasive than most, but not really in a bad way. Complex roasted malt, dark fruit, lots of fig as it warms, cocoa, coffee. Bittersweet finish. Pretty cool.
3.6 Aug. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle at Craft Room, Zagreb. It poured a very dark brown body with medium sized brown head. Fruity and caramel aroma, dried figs, some roasted malt as well. Not overly strong. Flavor was sweet, also fruity with pleasant fig note, relatively complex with whole palette of toasted malts along with caramel and that fig dominating, with lesser roasted coffee component. Light herbal (licorice) sourness popped out here and there, balancing it out a little bit. Full bodied, with long sweet finish following the complexity of the flavor and emphasizing sweetness, which was a tad much for me, but it’s still a very nice unconventional stout.
3.7 medium to high aroma - slightly burnt malt, burnt brown sugar, fruits/berries, a bit of sweet chocolate with milk, some flowers and yeast. medium taste - burnt malt, pleasant bitterness (maybe because of dark chocolate, maybe herbal hop), black chocolate with a bit of paprika, brown sugar slightly burnt, some fruits and flowers in the background. well done and balanced!
3.9 Bottle, 330 ml from Svijet Piva. pours dark brown with small light brown head. Roasted malts, some chocolate, dried fruit, figs. Moderate sweetness with bitterish finish. Medium to full bodied.
3.6 Bottle. Pours black with a fluffy brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a lot of dark fruits and dark grains with a touch of red wine and a hint if roasted malts underlying. Flavor has sweet dark grains and dark fruits with roasted malts and a bit of raisin backing.
3.8 Aroma is fruit/berries/figs and mild notes of vinous and sweetness. The flavor is fruit/figs/dark fruit, dark malts, slight earthiness, mild vinous and a mix of acidity and alcohol in the finish.
3.9 330ml bottle traded from Louis-Phillipe. BB 13-01-2019. Pours an opaque dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, dark fruits, slightly sugary. Taste is roasted malt, dark fruits (figs), some chocolate notes. Nice stuff.
3.8 Bottle in the living room. Pours basically black with a big head & good lacing on the glass. The aroma is roasty with dark fruit and maybe some cocoa. A little chalky smelling. The flavor is all sorts of dark chocolate & figs lightly boozy & pleasantly bitter.. lightly sweet. Cool
