Mikkeller Dim Sum Beer

Mikkeller Dim Sum Beer

English: Pilsner-style beer brewed with coriander and lemongrass.

3.1 Draft. Pours a hazy orangish copper color. Aroma and taste are caramel, malts, and spices.
3.6 Pours a lightly hazy brown with white medium head. Notes are very English with more of a carbonation bitterness like a pils. Bread, malt, grapes, and lemongrass. Coriander is light which was welcomed. Better than she’s ticking. Good beer if you had a couple, sessionable.
3.0 Orange color with beautiful soft head. Spicy and grainy aroma. Taste is a bit malty, buttery and spicy, lemongrass is noticeable. Quickly gone. This is weird, but not bad, just not my style.
2.4 [9/28/14] Draught at Beer Temple in Amsterdam. Hazy amber. Grainy and spicy aroma with some malt and butter. Sweetish flavor, malty, caramelly, a bit buttery, with a bit of bitterness. Medium-bodied.
3.2 Draft at Beer Temple. Pours near clear amber with an off white head. Aroma of caramel and biscuity malts, spice, herbs and a touch of sweet dried fruits. Flavour is over moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

3.7 33cl bottle from cerveteca lisboa, portugal. Color is copper. Head is persistent head. Medium bitterness. Low sweetness. Aroma is citrusy, hoppy, spicy.
2.2 Een bier met niet veel smaak aan. Dan zijn er veel betere bieren op de markt te vinden.
3.2 "Says pilsner right on the label. Brewed with coriander and lemongrass. Both nearly non-existent on the nose. Smells like a crisp pils to me. Flavor is a little more obvious. Well balanced between a well hopped pils and the additions. Herbal and grassy, light citrus with a slight bite to it. Pretty nice overall but not worth the premium."
3.0 @ Havregatan. Bottle (330 ml) from Mikkeller & Friends Bottle Shop, Copenhagen (35 DKK). Malty, fruity and spicy with notes of lemon, coriander, medium body with a watery texture. The finish is dry, bitter and spicy.
3.0 Amber colour, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, grass, coriander and caramel. Smooth, although a bit light, body with nicely balanced hops and malts. Bitter finish with citrus and caramel.
3.3 Bottle to pint glass Aroma of apple, orange, grapefruit, sprite, and caramel; very fruity and nectary sweet. Slightly hazy light amber with a 3 mm long lasting, creamy, off white head. Taste is lemongrass, malt, apricot, and bitterness. This isn’t great, but it’s still interesting.
2.7 Tap @ Nordic. Pours slightly hazy amber. Aroma of berries, spices, herb, malts. Flavor of spices, lemon, grass.
2.5 Tap at Beer Hunters. Deep clear amber color, small off-white head. Aroma has herbs, caramel and lemongrass. Light-bodied. Light palate. Soapy dish wash cleanser flavor. Light herbal note. Caramel. Perharps ok with spicey Chinese food but way too "perfumic" for my liking.
3.3 Bottle from StarmoreBoss, Sheffield. Hazy, amber. Big, bubbly, white head. Aroma is sticky malt. Light spice. Taste is fruity dry. Well carbonated, but accentuates the thin palate. Lemongrass comes through, though. Dry and fairly bitter on the finish.
3.3 12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of lemongrass and coriander, some pale malts and dough and a little bitterness. Flavor the same. Average texture. A decent beer.
3.0 Aroma of light malt, citrus, coriander, spices, lemongrass, light vegginess. Flavour is light malty sweetness and spices. Curious brew, definitely reminiscent of certain Asian dishes but I can’t pinpoint it.
3.7 Purchased at Mikkeller & Friends in Copenhagen, DK; enjoyed at my hotel room area in Stockholm, SW. Appearance is a lightly brownish gold with a very fizzy and frothy light tan head. Aroma definitely has an Asian flair, with a bit of soy sauce, spice, lemongrass, green tea, smells pretty good. Taste goes down nicely, has a definite lemongrass finish, nice and dry, there’s a nice light pilsner malty finish as well. I think this is a pretty good one, wish I had this with food, but that’s alright.
2.2 Semiclear copper body, white head. Aroma has grind coriander seed, quite a lot. Bit celery. Some lemons too. The flatness from the spices is quite overwhelming.
2.6 (Keg at Ølhuset Stockholm, Helsinki, 20140426) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, caramel and grain. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, caramel, malts and sweetness. Aftertaste was sweet. Perhaps this beer would match a portion of Chinese food but as itself its quite boring and disappointing.
2.5 Tap at Olhus Stockholm, Helsinki. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Sweetness, grain, some spices, hints of fruits and malts. Not very drinkable.
2.0 Draught at the Ølhus Stockholm, Helsinki, Finland. Clear cloudy amber colour with a small white head. The aroma is... mild sourness, some spices and mild malt. The flavour is quite bad. Some malt, mild sweetness and mild bitterness in the flavour. Smooth.
1.9 Tap (0lhus Shitholm, Helsinki) (4:2:4:2:7=1.9) Pale lager with some quirks. Boring fizzy shit. No reason for this to exist, it's like the macros' view of craft lagers, boring adjunct lager with some stupid essenses added.
2.7 Bit watery pale ale with some spices. The herbs aren’t very outspoken though, makes the beer a bit boring.
