A fruity and tart berliner weisse – Drink’in Berliner Passion has nice tropical notes, good acidic backbone and a light malty body. The palate is both fresh yet has just the right amount of dryness, our new favorite of the Drink’in Berlin series.

3.4 Can. Golden body with white head Aroma is Sour fruity some grains. Taste is is sour fruity mostly passion fruits. Aftertaste is nice sour.

3.6 Botella 33 cl cervezas especiales tomada en Belmonte 06..10..2017. (r134). Sin lote. Fcpref 09..11..2018 en chapa. Color amarillento velado con bastante espuma blanca persistente. Sabores frescos ácidos cítricos con buena dosis de fruta de la pasión. Cuerpo ligero con bastante gas al principio, enorme sabor para tan sólo 2.7 vol. Bastante, original combinación de ácidos y afrutados tropicales, buena para repetir sin duda.

3.2 Hazy yellow/golden beer with a slight/medium white head. Slight/medium aroma; taste starts medium sweet and ends slightly bitter and dry and slightly/medium sour. A lot of tart citrus and passion fruit with some sweet tropical fruit.

Fruity, sourish nose with notes of citrus, lemon, white bread, tropical fruit, passion-fruit and a fresh lactic acidity. Fruity, tart taste with lemon, passion-fruit, unripe tropical fruit, white bread and a tart and dry finish with low (hardly any) bitterness. Light body, quite dry. On the thin side, but fresh and tasty. Nice one.

3.5 Sampler at el bait shop. Pours yellow with a white head. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Has some solid passion fruit on the nose and tongue. Lingers a bit. Solid.

2.7 Bottle at home. Hazy pi... strawyellow colour white head with good retention. Nose is white whine lactic acid. Taste is also white wine like sourness, no fruit at all. Lingerig sour aftertaste. Missing the fruit completetly. Ms worldwild siman lenyomja.

3.4 Cloudy milky yellow. Aroma: fruit vinegar, passion fruit and soda. Taste: mild sourness, candied fruits and passion fruit, citric acid.

3.4 Sampled at Eliah Ps. This is tart and acidic. Passion fuit comes through and that sweetness helps. A litle more fuit but passionfruit leads.

3.6 Flasche (33 cl) von Cheers, Peking. - Hellgelb, schwach trüb, überquellender Schaum. - In der Nase milder Zitronensaft und Zitronenschale, zarter Kellermuff. - Antrunk erfrischend weich säuerlich mit Zitronensaft, sehr natürlich und nirgends schroff. Weiche Andeutungen von Weizenmalz, zarte Rhabarbernote. Prickelnd rezent, angenehm trocken. - Unkompliziertes, sehr angenehmes Erfrischungsbier. Und die Passionsfrucht? Wie schmeckt Passionsfrucht überhaupt?

4.2 Robe blonde, reflets verts, mousse abondante. Nez puissant sur des notes de fruits de la passion, d’agrumes acidulés sur un fond minéral et floral. Bouche à l’attaque fraîche et fruitée, les notes de maracuja dominent mais sont bien balancées par la fraîcheur et l’acidité de la bière, l’ensemble est parfaitement équilibré et reflète le plaisir de boire une belle berliner weisse. Un délice.

4.3 Aus dem Fass im Kaschk Berlin 2017-03 getrunken. Wunderbare Südfrüchte und sehr harmonische Säure. Oh ja das ist ein geiles Sommerbier!

1.4 330ml bottle (Sip, tallinn) What the fuck is this shit? Fruity aroma. Taste is quite battery acidy. After a fun evening, this is shit in the extreme. Lacto fucking bullshit on top of just fizzy water. Drainpour. Went perfectly with the shitty telly we were watching, no redeeming features at all.

2.7 33 cl bottle from ICA Åkered, sampled on May 12, 2017. BB 30/08/19. Slight hazy very pale straw yellow color, big fizzy white head. Acidic, fruity, slight wheat dough scent. Acidic, slight fruity, sour taste. Sour aftertaste. Weak thin mouthfeel, very low to no bitterness. Not really enough fruity character for my liking.

3.8 My run club beer. I poured this sucker into a flute and placed it on my front steps, just in reach for me as I returned home and collapsed on said steps. The plan worked brilliantly, except for the initial pour providing 1/2 a finger of beer and 8 fingers of foam. I came home to a couple of sips before I had to retreat into the house to refill. I poured more and got 1/2 as much foam. The foam is thick and sour...gotta get to the beer, man. Aroma is daisies, lemon curd or lemon drops, orange and yeast. Sour and fruity; lots of berry, primarily raspberry and blackberry. This is a winner.

3.6 A big congratulations to the reopening of Mikkeller Tokyo! Cloudy light gold with a huge pillowy white head of foam and a tangy yoghurty passion fruit aroma. The taste is acidic tangy and tart fruits. A bit too sour perhaps but with an insane depth of flavor for a sub 3% beer. Good.

2.9 330ml bottle. Pours almost clear very pale golden colour, big white head stays, leaves lacing. Lacto, whitecurrant, acid, yogurt in aroma. Sourmilk, vanilla, yogurt, citrussy fruits in taste. Only imagionary hints of passion fruit in aroma and taste. Light bodied, lively carbo. Expected passion fruit, but didn’t find it. Too yogurty for me. Drinkable.

3.5 Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver Hazy blond color with large head. Strong aroma of lactic acid. Light, fizzy, strong lactic flavor, I was expecting more passion fruit, but the hints of it are ok. Nice, refreshing.

3.4 Bottle, BB 30.08.2019 (from SIP). Pours pale yellow with huge white head. The head stays. Aroma is sour, rhubarb custard. Flavor is sour, lacto, fruits, citrus, passionfruit, rhubarb custard. Body is watery. Overall: well, I love rhubarb custard so this is ok...

2.8 Bottle sample at a tasting at our place. Thanks Max. Hazy light yellow with a white head. Sour, tarty aroma with a little passion fruit and perfume. Yogurt, very sour and acidic taste. Long acidic aftertaste, very fizzy and light-bodied.

3.6 330ml bottle @ Matt’s. Pours a cloudy straw colour with an active white head. Nose is ample passionfruit. Flavour is very classic berliner weisse with a nice amount of passionfruit. It is by no means too sweet... it is even somewhat dry with a nice lingering sourness.
